One of the best anime out there, period.
The story isn't particularly great on it's own out of context, but the execution here is absolutely flawless. As per usual with Kyoto Animation, the scenery sounds and facial expressions of the characters multiplies the impact of nearly every single scene. I don't know who wouldn't cry watching some of the mini stories in this series play out, everything is so beautiful and full of emotion. This is a great anime.
This is not your typical romance shojo anime, this is something the young adult professional can relate to. From the daily grind to the nighttime xp grinding, you'll probably see a lot of yourself in one or more of these characters. There is only a skeleton of a plot, but that's to be somewhat expected with a slice of life style anime I guess.
