read this in 6th grade and had the time of my life doing it. it owes a a lot to the brilliant movie of course, but still a good read. definitely underrated film and more people should read this small film manga. I've also read Ursula Le Guin's original book series which i loved too. Myanimelist goddamn it why do my reviews have to be so long it's only 4 chapters how much is there to tell? anywya i have to make my dansk lektier now or ill get fravær. But it's very like the style in the movie, basially based off shots from the ... movie, but i got a lot of flashbacks to the movie when i read it so in that respect i thought it was pretty good. I'm giving it 8/10 because i think more people ought to read this, the film is so popular, so why have only 300 people read this? I had even forgotten i ever read it until now.
