I am truly speechless on how great this anime was. I Know that a lot of people don't like this anime but for me it's definitely one of if not my most favorite anime of all time. The characters are so great each of them have these human emotions that make them so relatable and yet so great. If you come into this anime thinking that you are going to get a great action packed anime...Then you chose the wrong show. The show is very action heavy but that's not what the core of it really is. friendship, love, and sacrifice. All of these themes are what define this anime and truly make it a masterpiece. Hiro in the beginning is a miserable boy who has nothing to live for because he can't pilot a frannx. But at the end his character truly shines all of the characters do. The plot of the anime is to save the broken and messed up world but plot is not story. The story is about a group of friends trying to hold on to each other and not be torn apart in this world of chaos and agony. This anime does a good job of making you realize that the world that they live in isn't a great one. It's a horrible world to live in an conditions are critical. If you're thinking about watching this anime then please do it it is an extraordinary anime. At the last episode I shed tears not tears of sorrow but tears of joy. This by far was one of the most heart warming and unique anime's of the decade. Zero Two will always hold a special place in my heart. And so will this magnificent anime.
