Both of them are mid 70's anime about a giant robot that transforms from three different parts. Although UFO Senshi Dai Apolon is not a classic anime as Getter Robo is nor has the three different combinations and the interesting characters of Getter Robo, it's a decent watch.

Both of them are lesser known giant robo anime from the 70's with a prince from a foreign planet as a protagonist. Most of the enemies are animal/insect/fish etc. related designs and there is the typical drama/comedy involved as with most shows of the period.

Both are very nice fairy tales that they share in common the transformation of people into swans by sorcery and the struggle to lift the curse. Highly recommended for all ages!

Both of them have mechas and aliens occupying the Earth looking for energy with the purpose of evolving and making Earth their home planet. In my opinion Tekkaman Blade has a much better story and characters but that doesn't make Mospeada look bad or something. They are both cult classic animes worth watching.

Two powerful espers (Locke & Justy) saving the galaxy from esper criminals. Both made in the same period (1984 & 1985) so the graphics and music are quite similar. An esper female character pretty close to our heroes (epsecially in Justy's case) is turned against them by manipulation from some villain. Quite a few similarities!
