This series is about 2 siblings enrolling in a magic high school, with the brother having a complicated background and the sister having a complicated feelings for her brother. Instead of calling him onii-chan like any normal imoutos out there, she called him onii-sama with full respect and obedience.
She never calls her brother "baka" or flying kicking her brother like those hordes of tsundere imoutos out there. So it make me think that her brother must be a no-brainer, breast-groping, skirt-peeking, panty-sniffer, onsen-peeker pervert who have no other purpose than making this series into a full-blown ecchi series.
But I couldn't be more wrong, because

he is a genius, cool, dependable but can be cold and unfriendly most of the time but knows how to avoid others from feeling offended by his superiority in knowledge and skills.
I have watched a lots of ecchi series, so personally I want to find a series where the male protagonist who is actually strong and capable of great things on his own instead of just relaying on his harems to boost his power and occasionally by unintentionally molesting them on daily basis. XD
I like how the female characters in this series have their own preference to the guys they like instead of all the girls in the school is crazy over the lead male protagonist like they were subjected to mind control of some sort.
So, after finished watching this series I can proudly say that I got what I want. Even though the 1st half of the series is kinda boring (especially the girl's competion), but as soon as the REAL VILLAIN makes their appearance, the story become more fun with more fight scenes.
Fanservice-wise, this series have little of it. No onsen episode, no beach bikini episode watsoever! Or did I missed it somehow? Nevermind that.
About the art, which I rated 6 because it failed to amaze me but it is still acceptable. The character design is okay but the surrounding environment, weapon design, the clothing design and the fight scene graphics is kinda LAME and BLAND. When I finally get to see the suit Tatsuya wear in action, I instantly recalled the CRYSIS suits. Compared to that, Tatsuya's suit look like shit to me except that it can fly and and not from alien origin.
I totally looking forward for 2nd season and hopefully some OVA containing a summer beach bikini episode will be released. The girls in this series have a lots of "potential" that only a bikini episode can truly unleash.
