Before I say anything of substance, I would first like to state I am not halfway through this manga, so if you would the opinion of somebody who just started reading today, you came to the right person.
Initially I found the plot quite fascinating, it isn't anything out of the ordinary, I personally believe it's like a merged version of Fire Force and Tokyo Ghoul. However this isn't a negative conglomerate, not to mention it has quite a pleasant form of humor, very morbid and dark but still comedic.
The art style is quite frankly awesome in my opinion, not to mention the interesting color

Initially, the story line is quite strong and substantial, following the cliches of your run of the mill slasher flick. However the English translator for the manga greatly deteriorated and diluted the plot as he attempted to infuse a plethora of racial and political comedy. An example of this would be the introduction of the character of Naruto's father, whom the reader will discover to be a representation of Donald Trump.
I believe that the manga had potential to constitute the unfairness of the aristocrats/upper class, however by the cheap and offensive comedy, the meaning behind it completely falls apart. If you enjoy graphic gore ... |
