Spoiler-Free?: Nope
Pros: the characters themselves are mostly good
Cons: relationships. It’s almost unbearable. Don’t get with your Teacher.

I hate it here.
Always remember to not get with your teacher and consent is important.
...
[Story]: the plot is mediocre, mostly based around the relationships between the characters, which is important towards the plot. For Shounen Ai, I’ve seen better. The only issue is that if the characters weren’t problematic it would’ve been better.
[Art]: It’s also pretty mediocre. It’s not super expressive as it should be for its comedy bits and also has an issue with fluidity and transitions, which is what you mostly get during this time period of a slice of life anime. I’m coming from the age of 2018 and above animation so my view on animation is a bit skewered. What this anime does has for it is how they paint the night sky. Honestly, whenever a character is walking behind the night sky it’s pretty nice. The character designs aren’t too bad either but when I started the first episode I had trouble trying to figure out who is who.
[Characters]: I’m entering spoiler territory here. First I want to mention, the relationships are awful. Absolutely disgusting and because I love analyzing characters this will be the most lengthy section.
To start things off, easily the worse relationship in the show, Kensuke Ohshiba and Asaya Hasekura. Basically, I hate it here. Asaya is incredibly possessive and toxic and carries so many red flags with him. Hell, when they first finally became friends again in the earlier episode he forced a kiss on Kensuke to get his feelings across, which no, don’t do that. I want to point out consent is key and at this point, Asaya didn’t have any indication that Kensuke replicated the same feelings towards him or that he even was gay. He legit sexually assaulted him and then he begins to manipulate Kensuke by saying “you either can make love with me or we are no longer friends.” (Something along those lines.) and then get again forces Kensuke to do other things that are left towards the imagination. Asaya is incredibly possessive and overbearing and doesn’t even accept that Kensuke has other friends until later in the series. Asaya sucks, he really does. He’s my most hated character throughout the anime just because his personality is completely awful too with nothing remotely redeeming about him. What’s sad is that Kensuke is easily manipulated which is sad and what is most likely the thing that pushed him towards pursuing a relationship with Asaya. Consent is important.
Masahiro Setagawa and Kousuke Ohshiba are to put it simply, disgusting. I honestly should’ve known what I put myself into when the premise was about a delinquent boy and his teacher but, here I am. To point out the main issue, Kousuke is twice Setagawa’s age and Setagawa is a minor. Kousuke also just happened to be his teacher, which just really seals the deal, Kousuke also has been shown to have feelings for Setagawa for a while now, which means he’s been praying on a minor since he was in middle school. I hate it here. I really do. I never understand why in anime it’s suddenly acceptable that a student a teacher gets together and no one bats an eye. ALTHOUGH, CAN WE GET A AMEN FOR MITSURU FUKUSHIGE FOR CALLING THEM GROSS? Then everyone frickin yelled at him for pointing out the obvious. I wish you the world baby boy, you are the only sensible character in this show.
Overall their relationship isn’t terrible, frankly, it’s healthier than Kensuke and Asaya by a long shot but it’s disgusting and Kousuke deserves to be locked behind bars. I’m also curious how Kousuke is still alive considering he legit smokes a pack of cigarettes per episode. Characters smoking is always a fun trait but Kousuke does it so much that I’m honestly concerned.
The characters aren’t truly bad in general, except for Asaya, I would pay for his coffin personally. Most of the character chemistry is fun to see play out and they have their comedic moments.
[Overall]: Here’s a list of Shounen Ai stories with actually well depicted and not fetishized gay characters:
Anime: Given, Doukyuusei, No. 6, Banana fish, yuri on ice
Manga: Blue flag, Ganbare! Nakamura-Kun!!, All about J, lonely to Organdy, Shimanami Tasogare, Koimonogatari, My son is probably gay, I hear the sunspot

Short Review here -
Recommended: for animation and art? Yes. But no for everything else
Spoiler-Free?: pretty spoiler free! Some tiny things but that’s it. Nothing major
Pros: the frickin art dudes, it's so beautiful its almost unfair
Cons: The characters and the overall execution with the pacing of the show. And there was something off with the voice acting I guess? (both sub and dub)
Best Character: Qiu ( they did him dirty and he carried the whole show damn 😔)
Swears in review: it’s cleannnnn
♥
An in-depth review is here:
[Story]: the story was alright, the romance sucked and kinda weird but besides that it's was a
...
really nice story with a really chill life lesson. Super epic but at times the pacing of the whole thing seemed to be rushed and unorganized.
[Art]: the Art is absolutely breathtaking and it’s really what saved this movie. To the colours and to the character design they really built a well-designed fantasy world. I’ve noticed that they used CGI which makes sense cause they must’ve used it to get those shots that like go in a circle and that (like promised neverland.) but they were able to handle the CGI beautifully, in fact, I think they also used CGI for the characters (maybe?) and honestly this should be the new CGI standard. The only complaint I have about the art is a nick pick and it’s that during the movie they have this little ball thing and whenever a character would hold it, it just looked super awkward in their hand. But honestly, I loved the art so much.
One of the transition things was just a black screen and I didn't like that. Literally fading into a black screen isn't super epic.
[Characters.]I want to talk about the voices in the movie for a second before we transition onto the characters, For some reason, the lines in the movie absolutely sucked and fell flat. I have no idea why it's like that but it sometimes the lines didn't make sense for the situation they were in or when they were talking to other people, it just felt awkward and weird. Of course, there were a few lines that felt normal but there would be moments where you are wondering ”why are you saying that.” again, I found this issue in mostly dub but I found it in the split second of sub I watched. I don't know if this was on the delivery of the lines or the actual script given but it really took me out of the experience. Maybe it's cause I found the lines inconsistent with the characters or I really can't seem to understand the characters at all. I mostly found this issue with Chun, rarely Qiu, Feng (Chun’s mother.), Kun’s sister and Jumang (He's just some dude who shows up and speaks for a bit.)
Let's get onto the actual characters starting with Chun. Chun was very inconsistent for me and I found a hard time liking her. Honestly, her personality was strange and inconsistent and I don't know if this was because of the facial expressions or its cause she would randomly do things that I wouldn't associate her character with doing. I don't know if they just fell short trying to get her character fully development or something else but she felt off to me and so did her mother so, daughter like the mother I guess. Maybe it's because she was too stiff? One of the only dynamic characters was Qiu and man did he deserve better. Literally, he did everything for Chun and he was ignored by her the entire time. Like Jesus man, you deserve better and can do better. Their relationship to me was very one-sided and just felt lacking. Two of the characters i really liked ( besides Qiu) was rat lady ( Shu Pozi) and Ling Po. It probably causes their characters were more constant but their motives were strange, mostly on Lings Pos side.
There's a lot more i can say about the characters but the main point i want to say is that they felt rushed and unimportant. All of the side characters showed up randomly and had no foreshadowing to them and i honestly didn't know who most of them were despite the fact they were labelled important but that's just me.
[Overall]: honestly it was a beautiful story that just fell short. I think it could've been better if they polished up on characters and lines and all of that but it's pretty nice.

Short Review here -
Recommended: If you are into elementary x high schooler relationships (If you are then please get help holy.) or if you just want to read about some good old kids in love story.
Spoiler Free?: I'll do my best but there's a lot of things I will need to mention that isn't spoiler free.
Pros: It's a soft and warm kid love story exploring the innocent side of romance and the naivety of it.
Cons: Lowkey being pedophilic with pedophilic characters.
Best Character: Kazu and Yumma. They just seem chill.
Swears in review: I'm assuming so
♥
In depth review is here:
Do you ever
...
wonder if it's possible to stray further from humanity while sugarcoating it in childhood romance and the naivety of kids so it's kinda acceptable? Well it is. In Shoujo Shounen Gakkyuu-dan there's many questionable scenery and it implies many disturbing things but you kinda of bat a eye towards it because, hey, they are just kids. I will be explaining this further down in the review.
[Story]: Overall the story isn't bad, what initially brought me to read it was the title and the description of the manga. I honestly liked the idea of the class of elementary schoolers being divided between boys and girls and then having this tomboyish character break the division between the class with sprinkling romance here and there, hell this is a shoujo after all. Even after being disturbed and yelling at my screen "ITS TIME TO STOP!" I found myself reading until there was no more updated available. If you took out the moderately disturbing parts of this manga and pretended, "He's just acting like a big bro", it's not that bad. The story is kind of gripping and makes you attached to these kids. Watching the kids change the lives of people around them and solving their problems and other people's problems is quite entertaining. The story isn't anything special by all means, there's plenty of moments where you find yourself infuriated by the kids or adults/teenagers decisions but its a good quick quilty read through.
[Art]: There isn't much to say about the art but that its nostalgic of 2000s shoujo mangas. The art isn't bad but it does what it needs to be done but sometimes it is kinda of confusing of what they are trying to portray through the art.
[Characters.] Most of the characters are kids and they often make stupid mistakes which is a given because they are kids but I'm not really gonna talk about the kids because I don't have much of a praise or feedback to give them but I do have a character that I have such a problem with. The only complaint I have is that a lot of the kids act way too mature for their age.
[SPOILERS DOWN HERE SO SKIP THE NEXT 2 PARAGRAPHS IF YOU WANT TO STAY SPOILER FREE]:
Ken-Nii (Currently in high school) is the older brother to Wataru. Wataru and Haruka (our main character here.) often have conflict with each other which allows Haruka to run into Ken-Nii a lot, the only problem is that Haruka likes Ken-nii. Now Ken-nii has seen her naked, ALMOST kissed her (holy fuck.) and then after Haruka "confessed" to wanting too marry her he entertained the idea by saying "Lmao sure, i'll wait but i'll be an old man by then lol." There's so many questionable scenes with him and Haruka and there's some point of the manga where you are confused if Ken-Nii actually has feelings towards Haruka. He'll say shit like "Yo don't you think shes cute??" and then his friend went "Lmao but im not a lolicon like you." and he gets embarrassed and blushes hardcore? This isn't the only time its brought up that he's a lolicon. Haruka isn't the only person he's kinda weird with. He's attractive too which allows him to get away with stuff like this.
[SPOILER]: he even kissed his own brother on the mouth and didn't even say "No chromo."... .... broski... pardon.. and he will start blushing when grabbing his bros legs. BUT HE EXCUSES himself from kissing his brother by saying "we were always affectionate as kids, can't believe he forgot :(." In short this dude is such a creep. He's only affectionate towards young girls and plays with their feelings a lot and he overall gives me bad vibes.
This isn't the only time where a character has questionable actions. Hell there is two highschool girls who was after Kazu and Wataru and kept asking them if they wanted to see their underwear. They ended up taking them to karaoke and one of the girls led Kazu into a bathroom stall and touched his chest and kissed him. Totally wrong and creepy and disgusting.
[Overall]: This manga is totally weird but i have a strong hope that the characters will mature enough to make the right decisions for themselves. Even though this manga is totally weird i found myself coming back to it, maybe for the pure shock and enragement this manga gives or the reminder of how naive childhood love is at the time.

In depth review is here:
First ep, I thought the anime was going to be trash! A classic female lead HUNG over on her male best friend. Then we learn that her best friend is has been using her as a stepping stone. Boom! That's when her character changed! She became a badass without weapons!
Though even though she is a new person she still gained flaws for becoming that new person. And that flaw is lacking love, a common human emotion.
I say ep 10 and up were the best and we actually got to see her get all of these opportunities. The romance starts around ep-15 which was kind of slow but whatever.
Now one of the things that shined so brightly in this show was this character development. And they had the best type of character development! The character development was the kind we see in a lot of animes, characters wanting to better themselves or see how other work and gain inspiration to be like them. It's honestly super sweet.
This anime got me laughing out loud and honestly one of the sho-jo gems.
The romance is a SLOW-BURNER but it's worth it. Also we see a lot of bitchy characters but honestly...they weren't all that bad.
I love how they portrayed the acting as well.
Now one of the BIG problem I have with this show is... how do I put this.. THAT ENDING CLIFFHANGER! I get it is to push pepole to read the manga but... come on!
This is definitely an anime you should watch :).

Recommended: Yes! This is perfect for every age!
Spoiler Free?: Going through EP 1 and small spoilers throughout though this anime hardly has ay spoilers.
Read Manga: Yes (Because some things are resolved or explained)
Best Character: Kouhei Inuzuka (And low key- Mikio )
Pros: Depression healer and.. if you need to smile... Also they represented what being a kid was like very well.
Cons: Unsatisfying ending
♥
Have you ever wanted to be a kid again? Or have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be an adult? Well this anime goes through both of those.
The anime shows the struggles of being a single father
...
doing his best to make his kid happy.
Through the first episodes it made me smile ear to ear remembering how I was like when I was a kid. Tsumugi's was really well written out and it gave me a new age for a character. Tsumugi's character almost seemed like a father or a kid wrote this while adding details on what their kid would do or what they would do. Literally, this is the most purest character I've ever witnessed. When being a kid you can go through emotions faster than shuffling through a deck of cards and some pepole got annoyed on how bratty she seemed like. She is a kid and I'm sure every kid was somehow bratty.
Inuzuka's character was really interesting to watch and since I'm an empathetic person I would randomly break down only thinking about what he's going through. He is being a strong father for his daughter. 6 months ago he lost his beloved wife and he decided he would be #BestDad for his daughter. He started connecting to his daughter through one things she loves, Food.
Passing that, I loved seen the characters bond over something we all like (I think? I mean if you don't like it.. er.. sorry?) Food. Watching Inuzuka as a father and watching him improve to make his daughter happy is so fricking pure to my dark soul. When making the food it isn't really interesting to watch but it showed the basics of cooking. Food Wars made the cooking very interesting.
The voice acting was really good to! Like damn!
There is somethings I want to happen:
Tsumugi to understand that her mom is never coming back.
Inuzuka to marry Kotori's mother because why not?
I need to see Tsumugi grown up.
Kotori to become a master chef.
This anime is surely something you need to watch and really get into it.

Just a little thing before I start, I do my best to write my own opinion and not read anyone else's opinion before hand but sometimes I do so ha. Anyways let's get started.
♥
Recommended: If you are okay with a slow anime with a lot of dialogue but overall, yes.
Read Manga: Yes,
Best Character: Holo
♥
The anime is extremely calming. Somehow this anime gave me a feeling I've never felt when watching this anime, it gave me a feeling. Somehow this made me feel happy and calm. In this anime you can almost picture if this was real. You could almost imagine that the wolf
...
god is true. You can almost see Holo and Kraft and cheese almost real.
The anime itself isn't super climaxed itself but it what makes the anime. The anime is an adventure story with the two main characters going around in the countryside while we can learn about merchants. This anime teaches you in a diffrent way about merchants and teaches about the struggles they go through and their tactics. With the main male character (Kraft and cheese) he uses a bunch of tactics and is successful merchant. Though I don't remember anything they taught us because I binegd it in two days so... My fault.
The characters are diffrent. They aren't the normal age group you get in anime. We have two adults. Not teens. So it always feels nice when there is a change.
One con about this anime is how slow it is but I really didn't mind how slow it is. Another con is I wished they could go more indepth with the anti protagonist but it's okay and the last con is the dialogue, it isn't something I can really sit through.
The pro is something I rarely see in anime, A natural romance between the characters. When they do flirt with each other it's natural and it's something you can see them saying.
The background art was something I needed to point out, the colours and the scenery were so nicely done and it looked beautiful. It fits with the whole anime.
This is a once in a lifetime story and I wish I could see more of these kinds of anime.

How can I describe this. It was bad but boy those vampires were sexy.
Let's start off the art. The art wasn't that bad. The art was pretty and they did a good job with making the vampires sexy looking. That's the only praise I can really give about this anime.
But the rest I was shocked with. With vampires, I get it, bloodthirsty but why are they so blood thirsty? They kept abusing the main protagonist and they did borderline kidnap her. One of the vampires been calling the main character "Bitch-chan" (I do lowkey love this but I am just sick like that)
...
and others will suck off of her. There was no plot or meaning why they kept sucking her but they just did (??). The writer could've made a simple excuse like "Vampires get energy when they suck blood so whenever they find a human it's a good opportunity for them". Still that isn't a good excuse but they go with "She has nice blood". Which is a poor excuse. But hey, whatever. Though throughout the whole series they use her as a blood bag. I have no words.
Even the main female character was annoying. I get that we are supposed to feel like we are actually in the show but with this character, I'm sure no one can even relate to this character. She is actually plain out stupid and clumsy. Even the vampires taking her in called her annoying and they are just using her!
Now giving a spoiler but this has to be said: But one of the vampires even tells her that she should leave the house and that vampire even gave her an opening for her. And what does she do? SHE STAYS! I won't spoil anymore but she stays for her own selfish reason and she rather stay for that reason then save her own goddamn life! She is just... Plain... Stupid.
Nothing about this show is romantic. But I mean if you call abusing a female character romantic just for your own thirsty self romantic then go ahead, you'll enjoy this.
