I heavily recommend these two! Omniscient Reader: Story: 10/10 truly incredible story that stands out in it's genre. It also has great character development and character interactions. Visuals: 9.5/10 Very good visuals! Solo leveling: Story: 9.5/10 The story flows well and it has great character development and character interactions. It Lacks a tad bit when it comes to worldbuilding. Visuals: 10/10 Stunning visuals that keeps you entertained. These could be for you if you like - Action, Fantasy, apocalypse, monsters, mythology, isekai, shōnen - Leveling/upgrading/class system - male leads with black hair Step away from your boring b/w comics and check these out! Both comics feature a type of game leveling system, with stunning and colorful visuals fueled with action, fantasy and interesting male leads. If you're into shōnen or wanting a story that feels more for young/adults, I'd say these comics will be a big step up and will probably not disapoint you. I suggest starting with Solo leveling, as the comic is finished, unlike ORV which is currently ongoing. My thoughts after reading them... In my opinion Solo leveling is carried more on it's visual than it's story. This is not to say the story is poor, it is good and easier to digest than Omniscient Reader's viewpoint who has a bigger story/concept to play with and dive into. The problem for me with Solo leveling is that it is a bit narrow minded when it comes to the viewpoint of other nationalities and doesn't take advantage of it's opportunity to truly worldbuild on its locations and people (which I find a repeating pattern of in other power stories with leveling systems as well, example Kill the hero has the same issue). Regardless, I did enjoy the story as it flows really well. Out of the two I enjoyed Omniscient reader the most as it is unique and stands out in it's category - plus I'm a sucker for the drizzle of mythology that it got.
