ID: Invaded is and anime that writes itself. With a plot that involves everything psychology try'd to explain and makes it simple couldn't go wrong, as we see in Psycho Pass. Yet, it accomplishes the goal to make even those who have deep knowledge to like the anime.
Story:
The story follows a guideline, actually. Good guys try to catch the new bad guy. But every episode has a twist on its on, being on the case or the characters that you see every episode.
The story is pretty simple, yet, if you understand NOTHING about psychology, you should at least search what is Ego, Super
...
Ego and ID (after all, the title says everything: they're invading your ID).
Art:
The character design is pretty symbolic. The detectives actually looks really cool, with each one having their own "model". The scenarios are OUTSTANDING. But the type of art they used really fails to fit, even when you get used to it. It also hasn't the "eye glitter" that stylish animes like Fate or Violet Evergarden uses to make the anime shine more.
Sound:
The seiyuus made an INCREDIBLE job. And the OST is actually pretty good!
Characters:
That's where this anime shine. Character depth and creativity is where this anime hits the spot. THERE IS NO DISPOSABLE CHARACTER. In 13 episodes they gave depth to every personality they had to be. And the visual and mental representation they have is simply amazing.
Enjoyment:
For me, someone who has deep knowledge in psychology, to see an ID represented visually was simply amazing. See characters comply about subconsciousness, dogma and even more things made me realize how much this anime goes deep in this subject. So my enjoyment was at the roof.
Overall:
ID: Invaded is what Psycho Pass could have been if it focused on the understanding of the criminal instead of just getting him and be done. For me, it's a must watch show for all of those people that like psychological animes, like Lain, Psycho Pass, Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell. It's really worth it.
