Preface/Intro:
---- NO IFS, ANDS, ORS, OR BUTS, THIS ANIME WAS JUST GOOD!
Art/Animation:
---- Nothing CRAZY goes on with the animation, but some of the food in this show makes me have an 'eyegasm'. Pretty much, the shit they cook had my mouth watering at 3 in the morning and just after eating. There is no exception, the food just looks YUMMY!
7.5/10
Story/Plot:
---- THE MC, some guy whose name I also cannot remember is an 'isekaied' salaryman who was pretty much given a shit skill, but little does everyone else know, his skill is GODLY. From making contracts with the floofiest boy, to giving melon bread to ancient
...
deities in exchange for blessings, this show is wholesome overpowered done right, or whatever the fuck that means.
7/10
Characters:
---- All this man wants to do is cook, and cook for his tsundere dog child: respectable. Later on a Deredere/Kuudere (if that's even a real combination) slime gets added into the mix whose voice acting will purify your fucking SOUL! Overall, muy bueno.
8/10
Personal Enjoyment:
---- YES YES YES YES YES! This anime is it! Give me more wholesome content JUST LIKE IT! I require more!
9/10
Overall:
---- This anime wasn't about the fights, or the grudges, it just had some yummy food and some good boys.

Preface/Intro:
---- OK, so this was definitely an anime! I can say that much. Now here's the kicker, it may be bad, but it's "somewhat good bad".
Art/Animation:
---- OK, so we got some average-looking animation on an average-looking anime, BUT, some of the girls are QUITE kawaii; although it does include a rather large amount of gorilla boobies.
5/10
Story/Plot:
---- The guy is a guy who is always kind, and the girls love him because they do. There really isn't that much of a story, it just all kind of 'happens'. But pretty much if I had to summarize, MC goes to magic school, and funny antics ensue including
...
sheer terror.
5/10
Characters:
---- The man who would fuck a gorilla. The man who has such bad body odor said gorilla confused it for pheromones upon their original meeting. The man who named a small child his younger sister, a donkey his servant, a calamity his girlfriend, and a gorilla his wife. This man goes by many names, but the one he does go by is Seichi. Seichi is a chad, he'd fuck that gorilla. He ALONE, pays reparations for the tragic events that occurred on May 28, 2016.
7/10
Personal Enjoyment:
---- Ok, so you got a pretty ok to mediocre anime here. Well deserving of a 5. BUT, I say with utmost certainty not to overwrite this anime, FOR, HIDDEN AMONG THE MUCK, IS A GEM, a gem so beaautiful ANOS VOLDIGOLD dares not speak of it. A diamond in the rough. This anime sucks, but it's the good kind of suck. It's the kind of suck that includes god-awful amounts of references to Jojo, and even pays homage to the great and glorious Neon Genesis Evangelion. It sucks, and it sucks, but it suck so bad, it's actually kind of good.
9/10
Overall:
---- IDK man, it was pretty mid, but the badness of it made it not that bad but still not great so I dont really even know

Preface/Intro:
---- Alright, so I done been watching this anime since I was a WEE LITLLE LAD, and I always took it as that one show that was on the *cusp* of greatness. Inches from the proverbial bosom that is actually good fantasy anime, but with this season, well shit, It was pretty fucking good.
Art/Animation:
---- Alright so danmachi (as it is called by those not wanting to write out the long ass name or the abomination of an acronym that is IIWTTTPUGIAD) has never really been notorious for good animation. HOWEVER, watching this one season GREATLY made me question if they had switched studios (ignoring one
...
not-so-good instance of CGI), they had some fully dynamic shots that made me think I was watching something akin to fucking demon slayer.
8/10
Story/Plot:
---- So we got white hair boy #1, and that one elf chick. Prettyyyy muchhhh, they are stuck, get this, in a DUNGEON. *dramatic* DUH DUH DUH! However, what they end up doing with it is developing a complex interplay between reality and E.C.'s (elf chick) past, giving the viewer an answer to their question: what makes a tsundere a tsundere? APPPARRENTLYYY, lots of trauma, so you got that shit going on, and then you got their friends who try and rescue them (pretty standard B-plot, but it has some good moments). Now the main duo (the best ship btw) have some moments where you think, "oh shit, this is low-key like made in abyss". Now it doesn't get THAT serious, but what does happen presents an overall enjoyable and fulfilling story.
7.5/10
Characters:
---- BELL CRANEL (aka white hair boy #1), is a goofy goober who you think, how is he still so nice despite literally watching countless instances of massacres? However, he is not SO isolated from reality that he remains this way in the face of terror, he actually shows fear and struggles with it. Good dynamic character. Now E.C. sheeeee, can *step* on me. Besides that though, she's less of a tsundere and more of a "leave me, you need to go on without me" type of girl. Not exactly suicidal, but very not believing life is a possibility. Now if she were to just come to my place later tonight, then by all means she would see just what IS a possibility, but I digress. She, is also though a good character who represents trauma well. Everyone else is pretty stagnant, but nothing is illogical.
7.5/10
Personal Enjoyment:
---- It's like arifureta and made in abyss had a fucking baby, and it kept the awesome action sequences from arifureta, but also a tone of severity from made in abyss. Anywaays, shit slapped, b-plot was aight, would like to see more ALONE time with BELL CRANEL and E.C. though (if you catch my drift amigoooooosss).
8.5/10
Overall:
---- Got some cute anime bitches fighting monsters while also fighting their personal demons, WHAT? Actually good representation of trauma in anime? YES! Also muy bueno.

Preface/Intro:
---- Ok, so here I was on Christmas day
looking for some new Anime.
Then, oh shit, hey
That's a fucking hot bae.
****IF YOU DO NOT READ ANYTHING ELSE, READ THE QUOTES I HAVE LISTED HERE**** (read the other shit category for more info)
"my poor virgin synapses"
"girls don't piss"
"'bazoonga floss"
...
" hey why are you undulating? no undulating"
"*groan* booty"
"chesticles"
"Monogamy?, his betrothed?"
"your knee is poking me jiro can you move it? that's not my knee"
Art/Animation:
---- God damn these girls are attractive. Good art is what I can say, nothing to write home about the animation, but the actual waifus are *mwah* perfect (also apparently the plural of waifu is waifu according to grammarly but that sounds weird as fuck).
8/10
Story/Plot:
---- I didn't pay attention enough to get why, but pretty much we got a girl and a guy living together for a 'marriage' that is endorsed by the school and is mean to help with life experience???? I don't really care about the why though, what I do know is that watching the MC and best girl (Akira, of course) (pink-haired one) interact was like chicken noodle soup for my fucking soul but with a bit of spice if you know what I mean.
7/10
Characters:
---- All of them are highly fuckable and highly waifuable (I don't care if that's not a word). The innocent one is innocent. The guy is a main character of a love triangle anime. The best girl (Akira, of course, part 2) (pink-haired one part 2) had me catching some massive feelings. Like I was literally thinking, "GOD DAMN THAT GIRL IS HAWT!" Also the way they interacted felt natural(whatever that means).
7/10
Other Shit Category that I can't think of a name for, fuck you don't judge me:
---- The dub made this anime for me, I did not watch many of the episodes in sub, but from what I can tell the quotes listed above are dub exclusive, so I HIGHLY recommend that shit. ALSO, there is many times when the voice actors just go full HH (not hunter x hunter) when they talk. Like these guys will be having a normal exchange and it sounds like it was audio grabbed from yellow youtube. Muy bueno
8/10
Personal Enjoyment:
---- Bro you got a fine shawty rizzing up a guy through ways that DO NOT seem pg-13 despite it's rating. It's pretty fucking awesome.
8/10
Overall:
---- Fuck me man, this show is BARELY pg-13 (close to R not PG) and the one with pink hair should be my wife.

Preface/Intro:
---- Merry Christmas mother fuckers! So, I watched this anime. Let's talk about that. *theme song music plays*
Art/Animation:
---- Ok, so cloverworks is a masterpiece of a studio. Since we've gotten that out of the way, it is no surprise to say that every scene has something to compliment relating to the art and every animation is made with meaning and skill. MOST IMPORTANTLY, Yor, sexy dommy mommy, is lookin hella thicc (top tier waifu), Loid is looking so suave I'm catching feelings, and Anya is so fucking cute that she beats out Nezuko for cutest imouto despite not even being a younger sister.
9/10
Story/Plot:
----
...
Goofy little kid doing funny things with parents who are highly bangable and hilarious as well. Also, they add a dog, and seeing a small child and a dog together having fun is some kind of primordial way to make someone feel like they want children of their own and their own 25 episode, 2 movie story about a happy family life.
8/10
Characters:
---- Yor, hot as fuck, but insecure about being a good mommy and wife (muy bueno). Anya, being a genreal literal shitling and doing goofy antics that could purify your soul (muy bueno). And Loid, also hot as fuch (not as much as Yor), having to deal with this menace of a family
8/10
Personal Enjoyment:
---- Bro, its fucking Spy x Family, a show about a parent who is a top-secret spy, another parent who is a top-secret assassin, and a child who can read minds, all trying to have a somewhat normal family life. You're gonna have a good time.
9/10
Overall:
---- Muy bueno, more Yor pls, when is season 3.

Preface/Intro:
---- All right, we know why we're all here. Cute anime girls = good time. So boom, I was in my AP Physics class and was like, "this blows fat dick" so I decided I'd rather watch some anime. Let me say, the cover art did not disappoint.
Art:
---- The characters are all well-designed and artistically developed including the main character (who is not just a random guy with black hair). The waifus are attractive and are able to become waifus. There is minimal CG and the CG is not bad.
8/10
Plot:
---- MC is betrayed by a bunch of dicks from the hero's party so
...
he gets a fuck ton of beast girl waifus and becomes stronger because of said waifus. Enough said.
7/10
Characters:
---- Attractive beast girl waifus that do silly and goofy things. No they do not have the motivations or development like someone out of Death Note but that is not necessary to enjoy them. '
7/10
Personal Enjoyment:
---- The cute anime beast girls were exactly what I was asking for when I clicked on this anime. Beast girls are better than normal waifus and that is a fact. Also if it's not your cup of tea, there are a couple of fairies that come into the show later that pretty much look human, but I have not met a singular weeb who is not dtf for a cat girl, so yeah.
8/10
Overall:
Good anime. Good waifus. Beast girls are better.

Dec 18, 2022
Preface:
Alright, let me give you this tea. it's 2 AM on a Saturday night and I'm looking for a fat, new anime to watch. Hence, I checked Netflix on a whim. With their recent successes like that of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Romantic Killer, I was hopeful of finding something new released. Let me just say, my hope was not forsaken. I watched this anime from start to finish and enjoyed every fucking second of it.
For sake of convenience, I shall refer to the main character, Park Hyung Seok, as MC.
Story:
----Basic Summary: MC, after years of torment and bullying for being fat,
...
gets the power to change his body to that of perfection.
Throughout his time in the body, he tries to help others who shared his condition and make genuine friends along the way.
----Praise: I was once a fat kid, so when a story goes into depth about a fat kid being bullied, I can greatly appreciate the
representation. The anime presents MC's problem in a realistic manner. That being weight loss is a tough journey, people make fun
of you for your weight regardless, and you feel like shit because they do. The story manages to perfectly encapsulate this cycle.
Furthermore, it isn't black and white. MC often will get upset with his mother because he believes she doesn't understand. By
having MC not painted in a "perfectly flawless" light, I was able to see him as a human and not just as another anime character.
----Criticism: The only thing that holds the story back is the level of violence that occurs in the anime. It is not necessarily a
problem, but when trying to address a real problem it slightly undermines its validity of it. However, the violence does add in its
own right (I'll elaborate shortly).
Score: 8/10
Music:
----Characters sing in this anime sometimes. The singing is amazing. The rapping is amazing. I would listen to the music unironically
in my free time.
Score: 10/10
Art:
----Being adapted from a webtoon, the art style is very reminiscent of the original medium. There will be sudden camera pans or
zooms that would appear to be jarring but actually enhance the mood. They also do a good job of not beautifying the ugly
characters so that way their struggle actually seems real. More specifically if the "ugly" characters were ugly in terms of anime
standards then it would be hard to sympathize. Besides this, the art style is clean and refined. However, there is one glaring issue
that holds it back for me: CG. Everyone knows the love-hate (mostly hate) relationship between CG and anime and the problem
persists in this anime as well. The CG is not overtly bad, it just can be jarring at times. Thankfully though, the CG is sparingly used
so it is not too hard to look over.
Score: 6/10
Personal Enjoyment:
----This anime had me laughing and saddened at times that may have been only over one episode. It masterfully kept me engaged
with its use of violence as a pseudo-superpower system in this world almost. Furthermore, it is not difficult in the slightest to feel
sympathy for some of these characters, and the music felt straight out of a cover album you might find on the Top 500 billboard
Overall, I loved it.
Score: 9/10
Overall:
----Great anime, great comedy, great sympathy, great story, great music.
FINAL SCORE: 8/10

So this anime, don't really even know what to say about it. 4.5/10.
The art style was nice. The fights were relatively clean in animation. The sound was alright. But the story though, yeah, not very awesome.
The biggest problem with this anime is that it is incoherent. You begin with a standard HUMAN fighting tournament, but then they get superpowers which kind of retcons the idea that these guys are masters of martial arts as they built up in the first few episodes.
Also, the story direction is dreadful. There is no plot other than fight and win. The fight and win. Then maybe fight
...
and lose. Oh, wait, no, fight and win. This story just jumps from place to place introducing seemingly entirely new plot points every episode that border on changing the genre.
In short, the story does not and will not make sense.
Howevere, the saving grace is the art and animation, or, at least, it stops the dumpster fire.
I would not recommend watching this anime unless you want to try and see if your on acid or if jumblingly confusing storytelling is your thing.

Here's the thing. I would give this anime a 7.5. However, it just couldn't quite reach that. The most prominent reason is that it always seemed to be on the cusp of being something.
There was this constant comedy element which was great, but I feel that it often undermined it when it was trying to be serious. For example, the main character is talking about something serious regarding close relationships, and then they have a bit where the other guy says a joke which removes all the narrative tension at that moment (I removed specific details to avoid spoilers).
This continues to happen throughout the
...
anime, but it is redeemed by everything else, and by everything else, I mean everything else. In general, if it weren't for this one thing I would give it an 8, but that's what holds me back.
Now, onto why it's good. They know how to make the viewer feel achievement. Many times the characters are struggling to get to a goal due to the nature of the scientific method: the arguable theme of the entire anime. However, through ingenuity and actual logic, they achieve their goal. The reason it feels so rewarding is that the characters come to the solution in round-a-bout ways and through actual scientific data.
The characters try and try and try and fail until an originally unforeseen revelation comes along. This is how science works in real-life, and it is precisely how the anime does it as well. To this, I applaud it.
Furthermore, the show constantly uses real-world science and logic to explain why they can do something. This works because it makes the viewer feel like there are limitations. More specifically, there is always an explicable reason for why the character succeeds. This is in contrast to when characters in an anime succeed for no real other reason other than PLOT. The plot mandates that characters succeed in weaker anime, but in this one, the plot is shaped by the character's successes and failures.
Overall, I give this anime a 6.5/10 for the fact that it can't properly bridge the divide between the time for comedy and seriousness. If it weren't for this, my score would be closer to 7.5 or 8.

This anime was good. That's all I can really say about it.
The main characters were nice, but not complex. Similarly, the relationships were pretty nice. Nothing like A Silent Voice, but there was seemingly natural chemistry between the voice actors.
The story had an interesting take with it being from a girl's perspective primarily and based on MMO playing, but they integrated both the virtual and IRL worlds well.
Overall, I enjoyed this anime, but I would say that this is one best meant to put on and chill too rather than get super invested in.
This anime is similar to Bofuri in the sense that they
...
integrate the virtual and real-world well; however, Bofuri mainly focusses on the character's experiences in-game. This anime focuses on the IRL character's experiences and uses the game as a medium to explain them. To simplify, Bofuri is about the game more, and this anime is more about the characters who play the game.
