I may stand as biased in my review, but I honestly love Akatsuki no Yona. I've re-read the entire manga three times. I especially recommend it if you enjoy shoujo manga.
-Story: (10) The story starts on quick and hooks you in. When I first read Akatsuki no Yona for the first time, I had originally planned to only read a few chapters then go to sleep. However, I was so intrigued I stayed up until 4 a.m. to read all the updated chapters. The story itself takes you on Hak and Yona's journey after Soo-won murders Yona's father. Together they eventually go out to seek
...
new companions, each of whom get their own backstories. I won't say anymore in fear of spoiling the story, but to say the least, I laughed and cried while reading Akatsuki no Yona. Truly, a spectacular storyline.
-Art: (10) Oh man, the art is so beautiful. It's not super unique, but I personally love the look of the characters and the scenery.
-Character: (10) If any of you have seen Akatsuki no Yona's anime adaptation, you would understand how annoying pampered Yona is at the palace. However, during the beginning chapters of the manga, she is less annoying and stuck-up, which is a relief. Overall, Yona's character development is truly amazing. This is one of the reasons Yona is beloved by everyone she meets later into the manga (She's also one of my favorite characters of all time!). The author also creates the other main/side characters to melt your heart. I can truthfully say I have a crush on almost everyone of the characters.
-Enjoyment: (10) I LOVED this manga, and still am continuing to re-read it over and over again. I recommend putting on some good music while you're reading.
-Overall: (10) I have not read a better manga yet.

Shingeki no Kyojin, or Attack on Titan if you will, is a very good anime. Despite what many critics say, this anime really is in it's own class.
Story-8: Shingeki no Kyojin has a pretty interesting story I'd say. I mean, naked giants eating humans that are on the borderline of extinction isn't original? Not to mention the crazy humans trying to fight said giants. Seems pretty legit to me. However, this anime isn't all fighting and being attacked by giants (though a good portion is), there certainly is a good emotion toll with each episode. From the characters' flash backs, to people dying, to the
...
badass captain cleaning like a maniac, this anime really is great. As I have watched the entire series so far, I can easily say there were definitely a lot of plot twists and a lot of gore.
Art-8: I would say the art in this is above average. I think the artists drew out the expressions of the characters and the setting superbly. Though, giant naked titans waddling around is certainly something different.
Sound-8: I would say that the intro and outro music is top class. Once you've gotten hooked into the anime you can't stop singing.
Character-6: The character development as of now, isn't great. I would say the only major character developments are during the beginning and towards the end of the season. Though the characters in general diverse greatly in personality and looks, which is rare to find now a days.
Enjoyment-8: At first, I wasn't too interested in this anime, but as I kept going I really got into it. The story was very slow at first, but it went from zero to one hundred real quick.
Overall-8: This anime is simply a classic. You will love the story, the characters, and the silly-looking titans. You must watch this!

As someone who hasn't played the game, I don't know if the anime follows the game exactly. Though after watching this, I am heavily considering buying the game. I liked this anime, it had a good combination of action and backstory. If you like RWBY or Attack on Titan and are looking for something similar, I'd say you should watch this too. Honestly, the setting-mankind trapped behind walls, is exactly like Attack on Titan, which bothered me a lot. The action scenes seemed a bit ridiculous, but it did take the characters massive effort to kill a stadium sized monster/Aragami. The 3D art style bothered
...
me at first, but I admit it was very different, and not in a bad way either. Character wise, the impractical wardrobe of the characters definitely screamed RWBY to me. The characters personality wise, were generally hit or miss. Some seemed generic, your badass commander, your scaredy-cat, and your try-hard. But as time went on, not all of them were as generic as they initially seemed. However, most characters did not have much depth. Overall, I enjoyed this anime and am hoping for another season. I may even decide to take a look at the game.

Now, let me tell you why Akagami no Shirayuki-hime stole my heart:
Story-8: Now, I may be biased because I love this anime, but the story really isn't bad. The female lead isn't useless and the male lead isn't perfect, and their romance is something else. I must applaud the script writer. This anime is the definition of my perfect romance. Shirayuki flees to another kingdom to escape marriage to a selfish prince. And on her way she meets Zen, second prince of Clarines. But the thing is, Zen doesn't try to swoon in and steal Shirayuki, and Shirayuki isn't crazy in love with Zen. Their
...
romance is something I've never seen. It's so realistic, yet such a child's fantasy. It's perfect.
Art-8: The art is beautiful. It's not stunning, but beautiful. The town is so whimsical, but still practical. The characters and their attire are proportionate and not too revealing or impractical (you know what I'm talking about). It's great.
Sound-6: The only thing that wasn't phenomenal was the sound. The voices of the characters were practical, nothing super annoying, and the nature sounds (tree rustling, birds, etc.) were accurate. But the music in general wasn't anything too great. I enjoyed the soundtrack in the intro and outdo, but otherwise it could have been better.
Character-9: I am very emotionally attached to the characters. As the story progresses you learn to love every single character, even if they're the bad guys. Not to mention the main characters are super 'human.' Meaning, they portray their emotions just like us. There isn't any crazy super powers or drama queens.
Enjoyment-9: I would say it's pretty obvious that I really enjoyed this anime. I am definitely planning to re-watch this anime and read the manga.
Overall-10: Outstanding by all means. This anime is my ideal romance with everything a anime should have.

Story-4: If anything, this story is nothing special. It's your generic "I'll kill them all" storyline. But for suckers like me, I actually didn't hate it. I mean, realistically, you acquire weapons by making a pact with a demon, to fight vampires? Seems a little bit off to me. The bromance (romance) between Yuu and Mika is so silly. It's basically Romeo x Juliet expect Romika x Yuuliet (props to tumblr for that joke). The only thing I thought was good was the backstory. For some reason I always teared up during the flashback moments, though it wasn't really anything special. So props for that.
...
Still waiting for when the "Seraph of the End" part makes since, but then again I haven't taken the time to read the manga.
Art-6: The art in this anime wasn't half bad. Nothing crazy original, but the faces and such didn't bother me like some other art styles.
Sound-7: As I said earlier, I teared up during the backstory portion of this anime. I 100% would say that is because of the song 1 Hundred Knight M. That song is so beautiful. It remains one of my favorite songs to this day. Otherwise, the music is pretty average.
Character-5: Yuu is your generic overly passionate, scarred childhood, "I'll kill them all" character. Honestly, he isn't special. That's not to say I don't like him though. Mika is someone I don't see in a lot of animes. He is basically the friendly villain. I think that the vampire side of the table definitely has more interesting characters than the human side. I must say, this anime has your fill of "hot" anime boys.
Enjoyment-6: Even though I've been bashing on this anime, I do like it and am looking forward to season 3.
Overall-6: I rated this a Masterpiece on my Anime List, and I'm not changing it. I do like this anime even though it's very un-original. The characters and music make it a Masterpiece in my book. Now a days, it is very difficult to find anime that really makes an impression on me. Somehow this anime did, I wouldn't know how to explain it. I would definitely recommend you watch this and decide for yourself.

I really liked this anime, I must say. I would't particularly say that the anime was the best I've ever seen, but as of now, this is the only anime I have ever re-watched. There is just something about this anime I love. The character development is pretty great, the art is average I'd say, and the music is pretty good. But, I think why I really like this anime so much is because of the romance. Mei's development romantically is something you typically don't see in most shoujo anime. At first, she confines herself from others, claiming they only betray you when it becomes
...
convenient for them. But when Yamato, the most popular boy in school begins his pursuit of Mei, she slowly opens up and begins to make friends. But the strange part is that her personality stays relatively the same. I think this anime was well put together overall. If you're into romance/comedy anime, you must watch this!
