I honestly didn't expect much coming into this, but after finishing it, my god. It was simply beautiful. I've read only a few other romance manga, but this had such a powerful story that I adored reading, and had great themes of love, how far you're willing to go for it, and how you spend your limited time with your loved ones. Shizuku and Kaori's relationship is perfectly crafted for this story, and the inevitability of it elevates the story and themes even more. Their flaws both being accepted by one another, bringing them closer together is a sight to behold. An incredibly sad, yet
...
magnificent story.
The AlmightyTank reccomends.

The Greatest Teacher!
After I started reading GTO, I enjoyed it! I rated it pretty harshly in the beginning, but took a step back and I enjoyed it a lot more after doing so!
However, I hit a bit of a wall. Progress stopped at around chapter 99 or so, probably due exam week coming up and general motivation for reading it dipping. However, I persisted! And I’m glad I did!
For starters, GTO's comedy was good throughout. I remember a lot of the best jokes being after maybe 50+ chapters, before that they were just alright and I didn't find them THAT funny. Onizuka’s weird antics and
...
the situations he got in were great, but I wasn’t bursting out laughing or anything. It was still funny to me, and I enjoyed the comedy presented, but it wasn't the best. And that's fine.
Onizuka is also a highlight, as he served as a chaotic mentor who, despite his freaking chaotic personality and antics, is still a good- no- GREAT man at heart! I expected nothing less from the Great Teacher himself! It's such a simple concept, yet he works very well as a main character. The moments he shared with students were all really good, and seeing him connect with them personally was honestly one of my favourite aspects of GTO.
GTO was also great at balancing pretty heavy situations. It knew when to joke about stuff, which was surprising but nice to see! GTO was just generally great at making the best of awful situations and teaching the audience that people need to grow up and take responsibility!
I also felt as though it got better whilst I was reading it. Initially, like I mentioned, the jokes were fine—some funny ones here and there—but the jokes got better and the characters and stories became much more memorable after my reading block! It might just be me, but it was great to see the jokes improving overtime!
(I’ve used great a lot in this review...)
Anyway, GTO was a very enjoyable experience for me. Even when I was hitting my head on the wall trying to get through it despite my lack of motivation, I persisted! And that’s what GTO is all about! Persistence and dedication!
I, AlmightyTank, shall give Great Teacher Onizuka a 9!

Tokyo Ghoul was one of the first mangas I'd ever read, so I didn't really know what to expect when reading it. Even after about a year or so since I first read through it, I still constantly think about it! Even if, sadly, its reputation has been ruined by the super-edgy anime adaptation...
Kaneki is undoubtedly my favourite character in Tokyo Ghoul. His struggle of having to pick between human and ghoul is really engaging, and every fight he was in was amazing! Kaneki's kagune and kakuja transformations had me hyped! The Centipede form was particularly amazing to see, as it was a perfect reflection
...
of his torture scene with Jason. Symbolising his transformation and trauma.
I did enjoy characters like Juzo, Amon, Arima, Touka, Yoshimura, and Tsukiyama as well, however, Kaneki stands out above the rest as my favourite for sure! Just from his plot relevance and journey alone!
Another aspect that I really liked to see was the perspective of both the CCG and the Ghouls in general! The decision to have neither side be strictly the "good" or "bad" side was a great choice! Having both good and bad people in the CCG, or good and bad people as Ghouls, makes the world feel more connected and lets the reader decide what side they want to win.
So in conclusion, Tokyo Ghoul reeled me in with its engaging fights, excellent character development, and morally ambiguous storytelling! (Is that even the word? Eh, whatever!).
I'm AlmightyTank, and I recommend Tokyo Ghoul a 10/10!

Goodnight Punpun was a manga I’d seen a few times before, and was mainly recommended to me by my friend. Ever since my recent reading spike, I’ve been curious about seinen and have been interested in manga with dark themes in general. But wow, Punpun exceeded my expectations. And after reading it, I can say with 100% certainty that it has become one of my favourite manga as well. From art, to characters, to symbolic imagery, I heavily enjoyed all of it! Without spoilers, it’s definitely one of the best things I’ve ever read. So I, AlmightyTank, heavily recommend it as well! Tinkle hoy!

Yo! AlmightyTank here! Since this is my first review, I thought it'd be a good idea to share my thoughts on Mob Psycho, as it is no doubt amazing! After watching all of it, I can say with 100% certainty that it is one of the best anime to ever exist. I'm AlmightyTank, and this is my review!
To start off, every character in the show is full of life and is uniquely distinct from each other, like Mob, who is one of the best written characters in fiction as he truly feels like an actual person. Seeing his growth from being dependent on Reigen
...
in season 1, then his drift to independence in season 2, and his full-blown independence in making choices for himself encapsulates this. His character development shows that he is not a one dimensional character, and that he truly changes throughout the course of the series. This can be seen in the final few moments of season 3, which were genuinely emotional. The heart wrenching moment of Mob slowly walking up to Reigen and telling him about how he was rejected by Tsubomi was the moment that made me appreciate both Mob and Reigen as characters.
Another thing that is excellent about the series is the fight scenes. One example of this is the fight with Mob in Mogami's fake world. The vibrant colours and quick pace of the animation creates a sense of haste and urgency, while the giant hands and the crumbling world further builds tension. While the fights do bring out many emotions, they also serve as a great way to show each character's abilities. The fight between Shimazaki and the Scars is an outstanding example of this, by displaying Shimazaki's unique powers of teleportation and prediction using amazing fight choreography, camera angles and camera shots. These factors allowed us to fully understand the capabilities of his powers and how they can be used. They also gave the unique sensation of actually being in the fight, which is something rarely seen in anime.
Leading off that, the animation is unlike anything else. A mixture of a simple artstyle, smooth movements, and a well thought out choreography make the overall experience perfect. Due to the characters being so simplistic, the focus is set on their movements rather than them as people. Bringing life to each and every fight, the characters expressive movement and body language contribute to the experience. It's as if they're brought to life, with their expressive and emotive expressions that make them feel like much more than just characters.
Although I could go on about the sound design, music, and story, I feel as though I have said all I should say! Overall, Mob Psycho is a masterpiece of a series, and has something for everyone. It is enjoyable for any willing to watch it, and I as the AlmightyTank recommend it wholeheartedly! Seeya!
