Being an yaoi fan for a while now i've read from everything: good, bad, awful, a complete pain... and guess what? now i can add ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS GREAT manga to my categories, because this one, my friend you don't wanna miss.
Story: Great!!! i don't give a 10 to this manga because it's lightly cliché: we've seen the strong guy and the weak guy falling, as well as one being protected by the other.. But don't worry, you won't complain here:D

Second part of the Blood saga (can we call it that?).
It's just as smexy and cute as the first one, i'm totally in love with this story^^ I really can't say much without ruinning the fun, if you've read the first, then this is just a plain continuation, cute, passionate and leaving u eager for the next one:P The art's the pretty much the same. The devil character, Hakuou, is a lil bit more deepened in this shot, and also, there's another add to the party, an angel in the body of a parrot, (demon x angel, hum hum). Just as good as the first, more smexy scenes, and ...

I've read this one shot with really high expectations, it was recommend me by a very avid reader of yaoi's and since it has the premise of angels on it, i was very excited! In the end, i wasn't exactly disapointed, it just wasn't my type of thing.
First of all, don't expect much explicit scenes, that's what? a minus? a plus? Secondly, there's no melodramatic boring, common scenes, normally expected from a forbidden love, definitly a plus. About the story, it's quite confusing, especially because of the lack of explanations about the characters backgrounds and what exactly they do in that place. Art, for me is the best ...

Blood Hope is the first part of three, about the life of a demon-Hakuou and a man named Hisae.
First of all, the story starts like in most yaoi one shots: confusing and going straight to "business", as it progresses the outcome reveals himself quite predictable, but anyway it's very enjoyable. Art is pleasant, the backgrounds surely must have been hard to draw, lots of details, objects, etc. Characters. Felt good to see something knew, Hakuou isn't your ordinary uke, it's my first time seeing a granpa getting "attacked". For the rest, it's just normal standards.. A super smexy seme, and two minor characters(daughter, grandaughter). Light, fair, it does ...

I've been on a maraton here, reding so many one shots as i could, and this one was a pleasant surprise.
Despite the themes included, it doesn't feel depressing or sad, and i must say, it cheers you up (mostly with the one shots is the other way around), and i'm glad i read it. The art is okay, I'm not a big apreciator of that part on mangas but i can say it doesn't have much flaws, and the for the guys they aren't expecially pretty. The characters are very well presented considering the amount of pages the history has. bout the enjoyment, as i said ... |
