The stories contained here are short one-shots. They're basically PWP with cute shota characters.

The last three are based around the theme of 'homunculi', half-human creatures that serve their human masters. The final story was the stand-out of the book. It's the only one to contain no sex, but it's a bitter-sweet story that has an emotional impact the others lack.

A good recommendation if you're a fan of cute boys and are looking for something fluffy and sexy to pass the time.

A bittersweet supernatural-mystery-romance with some horror and psychological depth, likeable characters, and innovative animation.

Story
The mystery played out well over the whole series, with a generally satisying conclusion, and there was a good combination of horror, humour, and romance. Plus we're left with the potential for a second series, which I would definitely watch.

Animation
Great animation, I like that they played around with different styles and effects to really add to the otherworldly atmosphere.

Characters
Okonogi & Kirie were both interesting and likeable side characters. Teiichi was kind of bland, but he had his moments. For me Yuuko was definitely the stand-out character, which has a lot to do ... with Hara Yumi's superb voice acting. Yuuko is really the focal point of the series in terms of plot, and thankfully she is also a complex and interesting character who can be hard to pin down, displaying a range of emotions. (Also, if there is a second season - more Yuuko fanservice please? XD)

Overall I'd give the series a 7/10. I really enjoyed watching it, although I probably wouldn't re-watch as a lot of the appeal comes from he gradual revelations about Yuuko's past. However, Yuuko is definitely a character that will stick with me for a while ^.~
