I started Ultra Maniac to rediscover a genre that was popular when I was little (majokko) and I was surprised.
I was definitely expecting a very childish anime with simple stereotype characters, instead I found myself very taken by what I saw and I became fond of the whole cast.
Let's go in order, Nina is a witch girl sent to Earth to collect 5 magic stones, under the guidance of her grandfather, so that she can apply to be the next princess and marry the prince.
Nina is not the only participant in the race for power, but there are 6 other candidates. The only one
...
we are shown is Maya, the antagonist of the work. Maya is more determined than Nina and does not tie herself to anyone on Earth. Her only goal is to become the princess. We only discover in the last episode, with a nice twist, that Maya sought power for love. The prince always believed he was in love with Nina, but in reality as a child he gave her a key and danced with Maya.
Nina is a bit of a mess and in almost every episode we have her using magic, trying to solve some ordinary situation but she ends up doing worse because she is not able to use magic to its fullest. The two have a sincere and close relationship.
Ayo is in love with Kaji, both are very good at sports and have been friends for a long time. The two boys will get together also thanks to Nina, who does a great job as a friend of both boys.
Nina instead is in love with Tsujiai, a boy who doesn't think much about love instead, who is quite cold in this aspect.
Kaji, on the other hand, is the perfect boy, but he doesn't like to be considered that way because he also has some negative sides and always feels the need to give his best when he also has his imperfections.
In addition to these interesting characterizations, I also appreciated the friendship between the four and it is not easy to find a work with such a pure relationship between boy and girl friendship, like the relationship mentioned above between Nina and Kaji.
I also really appreciated the secondary characters, like Maya's crow and chameleon who somehow try to limit her use of black magic, or Jun, the boy with glasses who accumulates evidence of the existence of magic, the only one in the school who suspects Nina.
Speaking of the ending, I also appreciated how Nina had to struggle to hide the fact that she was just passing through Earth and that all the relationships created would disappear because Ayo and the other humans, after Nina returned to the magical world, would lose their memories. Even more enjoyable then when Nina chose to stay on Earth, after Ayo and Tsuji said they did not want to forget about her. Also with this choice, Maya and the prince were able to fulfill their childhood dream.
Also not to be underestimated is Nina's grandfather, who after fighting for Nina to recover the stones, then understands the bonds that his granddaughter has created on Earth and leaves her free to go her own way. In short, ultra maniac is a sweet story of magic and love, highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing and fun anime.

Shibatarian is one of those mystery thrillers that initially drives me crazy, because I absolutely want to discover the truth behind what I'm seeing, but then I am promptly disappointed by a somewhat disappointing development.
Let's go in order, Shibata is a boy who was buried to punish his mother.
The woman in fact, gave the names to the authorities of some students who committed acts of vandalism. The students then took it out on Shibata. Then we have Sato, the protagonist of the school that passes by, who does not like his peers and prefers to isolate himself or watch films. A friendship will blossom between
...
the two until Shibata disappears and reappears after several years as a villain who, together with his clones, makes the dream of a child Sato come true, that is, a world with more people like Shibata and in which people are then punished, like the same middle school students that Sato found unpleasant. So far I found the manga compelling, especially trying to understand how everything I was seeing was possible.
In addition to the secondary characters that I found rather useless starting with Michi, a girl who has always been in love with Sato and who finds herself involved in the affair but without ever being the protagonist.
Yoshida and Hanma, characters who will help Sato later, also very negligible and neglected by the author himself, could easily not have been included and everything would have worked the same.
Then we have the complete degeneration. Shibata everywhere throughout Japan that I want the unidynamic of the human race, the manga takes a totally apocalyptic turn that in my opinion clashes with the initial premises.
Everything we see is a bit confused between reality and cinematic fiction. As it is later explained, these Shibata are nothing but cherry blossoms seeking revenge against humanity that has ignored them, and the hero who will resolve the whole matter is Sato thanks to salt water. At this point I felt a little disappointed. The dark atmosphere of the first volumes disappears completely. Then other explanations such as the pill to become Shibata's or the arrival of Sato's military clones also I found them quite ugly.
As positive notes, however, I mention the very beginning of the work, when the mystery was not revealed. Some Shibata such as the gymnastic one or the burly one made me laugh so much or the many quotes in the manga.
In short, I recommend this hour to those who like referential cinema or are looking for an alternative apocalyptic opera to the classics of the genre.

We are in the world of drama romance and The Only Flower Knows is a work that has an important theme that is treated with the right respect.
Misaki is a closed boy, focused only on what he likes and is passionate about, namely the world of botany.
Her usual routine is interrupted by the entrance into her life of Arikawa, a boy who becomes obsessed with Misaki after the two have a chance meeting. Arikawa is so taken that he leaves his girlfriend and begins to collaborate with Misaki in the lab where the boy studies for school. Here I found it forced because it
...
is difficult for a love at first sight to lead to so many consequences.
Misaki will gradually accept the entry into her life of Akaishi, with his character so opposite to his, extroverted and enterprising, the shake needed to pull Misaki out of her solitude.
But why is Misaki so closed? And here we come to deal with the central theme of the manga.
Misaki has had a love since he was little. His "big brother" Kawabata. The same person who with his grandfather made him passionate about the world of research in the field of botany, but also the same boy who made him discover his homosexuality.
The problem is that Kawabata has never been openly homosexual and enjoyed touching and kissing Misaki without coming to terms with his sexuality and all this created a lot of problems for Misaki, who felt used even though he was in love. And as if that wasn't enough, Kawabata stalks Misaki to this day.
It all ends with a confrontation, in which Kawabata finally accepts his sexuality, after Misaki has managed to defend himself from the possessiveness of his "big brother" for the first time.
Once this ugly chapter of her life is closed, Misaki is completely unblocked with Arikawa and reciprocates his love.
A manga in which a protagonist has such an important growth and a character, like Kawabata, who finally matures a lifestyle that he finally manages to straighten out, after being harmful for so long.
My vote does not go beyond 7 because I would have liked a greater insight into Arikawa and his feelings for Misaki despite him being engaged to a girl. I found the whole thing too hasty and inconsistent.

In a scenario full of super light romantic comedies or exaggerated and unrealistic romantic dramas, days with my stepsister is an excellent alternative to all of this. The anime is focuses as much as possible on the feelings of the protagonists, without filling the whole thing with useless interludes. The narrative is slow but in this case I see it as a strong point, since in this anime there are few elements but all treated in the best possible way.
Speaking as an incipit, we have nothing in particular. Two boys, Yuta and Saki, start living together because their parents get together.
The classic stepbrother relationship. And
...
the fact that two stepbrothers can like each other isn't even that revolutionary.
Despite this, I really liked this work, as it will be impossible not to immerse yourself in the two protagonists of the story and stay glued to find out how things will end.
Yuta and Saki are both 17 years old, they are two people who are not so open or full of friendships but are both rather closed and holed up in their passions or commitments. Especially Saki whose closeness to Yuta will completely change his life. In fact, Yuta helps Saki from many points of view, from the social level to her studies, making her feel understood and helped. In fact, Saki is a person who has never asked for help or been so open. It won't take long for the two to fall into an ambiguous relationship, an ambiguity that we will carry with us until the end. Jealousy, first and foremost, is the feeling that leads the two towards a perspective other than friendship. In the last episode, Yuta declares love to Saki.
Saki, fresh from a conversation with a teacher, who told him that feelings for Yuta can only be derived from closeness but not from love, initially distances himself from the declaration of love.
In the end he opens his heart and the two accept their feelings without settling into a relationship.
The ending is consistent with the story. Maki and Yuta can't try to be together as if nothing had happened, it would hurt their parents and create a scandal. It is right that they take their time to understand.
Basically I recommend this mature and psychological anime to everyone.

The master of the grotesque, Oshimi, brings a horror story centered on young school children confronting the threat of vampires.
In fact in the world of Happiness there are creatures that feed on the blood of others, but they are not depicted as Bram Stoker's vampire, but the vampire characters have a physical appearance very much in line with that of humans.
The characters present are many, the main character is definitely Makoto though.
Makoto is a boy who does not shine in anything in particular and will find himself becoming a victim of this "vampirization" of the town, in turn becoming a vampire himself. However, he will
...
be so ethically, never aiming at killing innocents, committing massacres only to feed himself. Makoto falls in love with Nora, who, however, fate has a very bad fate in store for her, which will cause Makoto to fall into a state of total inactivity.
A small mention for Makoto's sweet mother, who never forgot her son who had to run away from home out of necessity.
Not all vampires, however, have Makoto's moral integrity; in fact, we will soon meet Yuki, who because of vampire thirst and more questionable ethics, kills little Nao's family.
The manga also features a man who always wanted to become a vampire, so much so that he set up a cult. He later succeeds in achieving his goal.
The last character I want to talk about is Gosho, who was one of the few not to turn into a vampire. Gosho, however, fell victim to the sect leader Sakurane and ended up suffering torture. She was saved by Makoto, who managed to emerge from the trauma of Nora's death to help his friend. Makoto will then have a son and fall in love with Sudo, a kind colleague of hers who is willing to do anything for the good of Gosho.
After so much horror, the work ends with an overall happy ending but also a bit of sadness, especially regarding the love that Makoto has felt all his life for poor Nora

I start from the assumption that this anime carries a lot of responsibility, given the great success of a leading manga author and Uzumaki is his most famous and most appreciated work.
Starting from this basis I found the animated transposition a valid product for those looking for splatter, terror, disgust and a good overview of random characters who die, whose names we barely know. Perhaps this last aspect here starts to be a flaw when you see a character like Chie, introduced only at the beginning of the last episode, disappear in a completely flat manner at the end of the episode.
Speaking of positive
...
aspects, I found some deaths iconic, such as Yamaguchi's character who literally commits suicide to test his love.
Furthermore, each episode is full of disgusting scenes, such as the transformations of some characters into snail men, who then end up being killed and eaten. Terror because there is so much desperation on the part of the inhabitants of the haunted city of Korouzu, which is impossible to abandon due to spiral-shaped tornadoes. Another moment of pure terror is the cannibalism inside the hospital, with pregnant women that spread terror at night. Another interesting element is the mystery that the whole anime brings with it, in fact the viewer is led to follow the whole work to discover how the curse of the city can be stopped.
Returning to the negative aspects, which led me to a barely sufficient rating, they are certainly the ending and the animation.
Although I really liked the graphic style, with the choice of black and white, some of the animations, perhaps better to call them non-animations, are a real eyesore. However, for the ending, I didn't like the absolute lack of tension and the flatness in which everything happened, not to mention the love story between the protagonists Shuichi and Kirie, which in my opinion was rather colorless.

Good bye dragon life is an adventure and action manga that stands up well to the many products of the genre. Let's start immediately by talking about the conditions. Instead of the classic human being reincarnated, so we have a different base of hero. In fact, Dolan is a former dragon, and not just any one, but the strongest.
Obviously this past life of his makes him become a canonical OP character and in all battle situations, Dolan takes little time to patch things up and close the fights, even when the enemies are powerful demons.
The strong point of the work is certainly Celina, looking
...
for a husband like all lamias but unlike the others of her kind, she has a heart of gold. Thanks to her sweetness, Celina must overcome the prejudices due to the fact that she belongs to a species feared by humans, a man-eater. Thanks to Dolan she is first accepted by the hesitant inhabitants of the village of Verun, then by the entire kingdom.
I found the plot of the anime entertaining, since the first episodes which are certainly very simple in which it mainly deals with Celina's acceptance, we move on to a darker and more gloomy development.
In fact, Dolan will first have to face the sorceress Keiren, a murderer of women whose beauty she steals to stay young.
However, the heart of the action is against the demons who have come to conquer the forest where an elven city lives.
Here we see some clashes and both good and bad characters in action, in a series of enjoyable battles.
We also have a romance aspect, which ends happily with Celina and Dolan bonding in a familiar-master bond.
Dolan chooses to live human life, where for the first time he lets himself go to feelings, emotions and relationships, something he didn't experience in his life as a dragon.

Among the various thriller genre proposals that we can focus on, "My Husband is sleeping in the Freezer" appears to be an excellent proposal with a lot of tension, plot twists and curiosity in finding out where the story will end up.
After finding out that she kills her husband, I was immediately shocked to see a lookalike of him. Convinced that it was a good projection of his wife, that once she had removed the burden of no longer having to suffer violence, which in the work we are shown with flashbacks, the plot twist of the twin was surprising. The character of Kamata,
...
on the other hand, who offers a chance for a new life, Nana, he turns out to be very strange too, as he liked to eat "Ryo's" meat and at the end of the opera he turns out to be under investigation.
However, Nana doesn't let her twin fool her too much. In fact, she realizes that the boy is actually bad, and that she probably ended up killing the good twin. Nana shows a lot of character and personality in deciding to kill the new "Ryo" who, when he revealed himself, called himself "So".
In this story no man turns out to be good, Nana manages to protect herself from each of them and finally live her life with her son.
The manga fills us with all the explanations we need. The twins Ryo and So were never registered due to the numerous problems their mother had.
One of these is a violent husband. Violent exactly like Ryo was against Nana, because unfortunately violence generates more violence, the same one that led Nana to kill two brothers to protect herself.

I want to start from the assumption that I am a manga reader of the work and I find that this transposition works perfectly.
The many criticisms regarding the lack of animation are understandable, but not completely. The work works perfectly even so, where there is a dribble or a shot the spectator cannot complain. Then there could certainly be much more in terms of animation and graphics that we can see, but they are not brought to us, probably for a budget issue.
With that aside, this season is simply breathtaking. The rivalry between the brothers Sae and Rin which can easily extend to the
...
rivalry of the classic conception of football led globally of Japan u20 to the revolutionary, crazy but magically functioning idea of Ego. The only teammate he considers to be of his level is the outsider brought in, always coached by Ego and this says a lot.
Sae grew up in the common football centers and even reached the elite of European football, he was unable to find his dimension and his potential remains untapped. Rin on the contrary, thanks to the psychological work done in the Blue Lock, manages to push himself beyond his limits, beating even his more talented brother.
This season contrasts these two realities and does so by creating a crazy match that ends with the true protagonist of the work, Isagi, who throughout the match never found a decisive wriggle and worked a lot on moving more instinctively than only reasoned, which made him lose important playing time.

After I was reading about Sweet Poolside, I continue to reading about Oshimi's first phase of production. Once again I find myself faced with a comedy manga filled with highly erotic scenes from very young boys. And once again it is the girl who leads the boy to physical contact and very intimate situations
Oshimi brings a bizarre story to an art club of a first sexual relationship between two young people, without inserting feelings into the mix. Honda is a simple boy who wants to lose his virginity and finding himself naked so many times in front of a beautiful girl like Yumeko and even
...
stimulated by her touch with the brush, it becomes easy to understand his struggle to contain himself.
Yumeko with "innocent curiosity" develops an obsession that takes her a little out of reality. He never realizes Honda's difficulty in enduring all this stimulation without getting to the point. I found the happy ending with the fuck gratifying for poor Honda.
Finally, Yumeko, beyond her passion for the penis, has mapped out a future working career.
One day Yumeko started having a obsession with wanting to see a penis. He starts imagining it everywhere, but not because he wants to have sex with it, but more out of curiosity. He finds an opportunity in the art club and asking its only member, Honda, to pose nude.
Honda accepts and Yumeko continues to threaten him. If Honda doesn't pose naked for her, Yumeko leaves the art club.
Yumeko takes Honda inside her house, to prevent anyone from seeing anything at school, and makes him pose naked. Honda gets caught up in sexual instinct and touches Yumeko, the girl gets angry and kicks him out of the house.
The instinct becomes understandable as Yumeko stimulated Honda's penis with a few strokes.
Honda threatens to never pose naked again if Yumeko doesn't strip for him for a drawing. Yumeko accepts and poses naked for a sketch.
Honda has exceeded all limits of tolerance and wants Yumeko's body.
The girl finally realizes that she wants to have sex and the two fuck at school.
Yumeko finally realizes that she wants to pursue a real career as an artist and go to art school.
