This manga is incredible, i saw the first chapter a few months ago and i just assumed it was another boring edgy manga but is really not, i did not expect such a complex story from something like this, the characters are incredibly human and nothing is as simple as it seems which is something i really like from a story, i expected to hate a particular character but i really ended up not being able to dislike any of them
They all have a version to tell and they're all suffering somehow, it doesn't attempt to sugar coat it: humans are complex, we can't be

perfect we have a lot of flaws sometimes ugly ones, we can't be expected to react properly to certain situations or to make the right choices
The way they handle this is perfect, really recommended

I know this anime isn't for everyone, some of the jokes rely on you just turning off your brain or just doing your typical japanese comedy which i know is boring for some people but i really liked it, of course i won't go ahead and say is amazing and the story is unique because is not, it doesn't try to be more than a simple gag that comprises and extends the whole plot of the show
Mash as a character is very funny and his ''power'' is very unique te way he uses it sometimes, animation is just average but it really doesn't need

Character design is very simple but it works pretty well for you to at least remember one or two of the main cast so that's good enough for me
Overall i give it a 7 bc i enjoyed it a lot but in a general analysis is probably a 5

I'm giving this a 6 just for two reasons
1.The first half made me laugh a LOT , like it was so dumb and obviously parody that i loved how stupid everything was
2.The animation is gorgeous, they didn't need to go that hard for this but the animators went wild with some scenes
I would gladly give it a 7 even and 8 if it wasnt because of the last 3 episodes, the mom....the mom.

haven't seen one of those distasteful bathroom scenes since the 2010's and i sure didn't miss them , just because you make the joke with the opposite genders doesnt make it funny
And y know...is just weird, i went ahead and finished the series cuz i was already 9 episodes in might as well just endure it but even when i had those last 3 episodes on the side while i did something else i was uncomfy all the time lol and look i don't care for most of the jokes i even tolerated the red haired girl but the mom was just too far for me
I'm sure some people love that, good for you! is not my thing, not at all. I was expecting a parody anime and it kind of is but it tries to be taken seriously at times and you really can't be both at once

This anime is one of those you can watch while you're doing something else, is not bad not at all is quite funny and i liked a lot of the jokes even if i didn't laugh, it just has that kind of innocent comedy that makes you smile and like the characters despite it all
I like that the main character is not annoying as other comedy anime like this do, she's just sweet and very hungry for food all the time
However is nothing that stands out after the season it aired in is finished, is just your average anime to watch after a long

day and smile a bit, i quite like the character designs tho they're quite simple but they stand out on their own
Also the food looks delicious 10/10

Look i know this series was poorly adapted or that's what i saw people saying but i couldn't care less about that, seeing the overall story it seems like a boring generic isekai with an overpowered MC where they use a bunch of magic systems and concepts without much care and i think the director knew that a 100% and just decided to create the most caothic mess that i've seen since demon king academy , the animation is not greeat but the fact shit is happening non stop compensates greatly , most of the time i had no idea where the heck the story

was going it has a mix of things that make absolute 0 sense on this kind of story and is hilarious
The main characters are very charming too considering they apparently don't have that much of a close relationship in the original source material and the adjustments they did to the design of the main character so he didn't look like your average japanese guy is great, i always appreciate those small efforts even if the anime is trashy
There's some 3D used and tho is not great by any means it doesn't look as atrocious as other shows it kinda fits actually, overall i don't think i would watch this again but it was a great anime to just turn off your brain and laugh at how absurd everything is, is so bad is good

Okay here i am again with an updated review of this series.
I'm gonna calm down this time, last time i was a bit angry at everything lol.
First of all yes, this series is bad, i'm gonna say it because i really don't understand people who like this series because of the story, maybe the first chapters are interesting with the...whole reason as to why he does that, but after that? is not really interesting, the plot gets stuck and while i admit there's a thing that he's after is not because he cares? is because he has nothing else to do, seriously after he does

all of that there's no other motivation for the character and it really feels like you're just watching a hentai that tries very hard to have a story.
Not only that but i've said it before,this series feels like an isekai, because the main character has no personality besides revenge and i'm powerful , he has lived his whole life in that world and even then he doesn't care enough to feel like a character that belongs to this world, he's very empty, even the girl has a more interesting personality than him and she's shit.
The way they adapted this was waaay different from the manga, since it goes faster and it takes too much on H scenes, which is my next point:
I'm seriously impressed as to how little the studio cared about anything when they did this series, because the +18 scenes have no reason to be animated like that, in such detail, i've seen them circulating around H sites because they look good enough to be one of those. The animation is good, the characters look good even if the MC has a very generic design, but they really didn't care because they decided to took such an approach with the H, and i understand this is the studio who did high school DxD but stil...
I do not agree with this series using R scenes, at all, they're just there cause is an easy way to make people feel angry or feel impressed and it gets worse later, is very lazy writting if you think about it, at least berserk knows how to use something like that better.
However, i think understand why people might like this series too, the H scenes, the whole revenge deal but, after that i don't really care enough? it gets boring very fast as well as goblin slayer did after 8 episodes of just seeing the same thing.
Last time ppl tried to tell me i just didn't understood but...didn't understood what? i know that this might be a guilty pleassure but is not a good story at all, is not even interesting after the first arc, this is a revenge H with good animation.
Anyway i'll give it a 2 this time just because of the animation/art and because i wasted my time reading the manga twice and i guess i need to feel like it was worth it someway.

This manga was wild, i read it as soon as i finished the anime at the year it aired but it was still being published so i forgot about it...until everyone started to say the end was shit so i knew i had to read the rest.
I know why people might hate this show and yes you're right, this series makes 0 sense and is very slow in scenes that don't need to be that slow, but the magnificent art, anatomy knowledge and the nonsensical humor makes it very funnny for me, it was an enjoyement until the very last arc.
The last arc is that

point when the author just started to put anything without caring as much as before, they spend useless amount of episodes doing stupid stuff and when you think the story is gonna end in a very happy tone....it doesn't on the very last episode everything goes to shit, nothing matters anymore and it was so out of nowhere that i laughed just because i was so confused, it honestly felt like i was being trolled and i have NO doubt it was maybe that, which is genius and insulting at the same time, i guess you could just watch the episode before that one and just call it a day, that's the ending, there's nothing else besides that, i just think is some sort of AU.
Besides that? yes is very funny, like i said i love the artstyle , its very impressive when they trick you to think you're watching something else and how they go from a simple story plot to some of the most insane bullshit i've seen
In general i think is fine, is not my favorite comedy series anymore but it still holds up, besides that ending

This is a very good series! Not gonna lie is not for everyone, it follows the same idea as cells at work but more focused on teaching you stuff.
Still, is very good, i don't know a lot about biology so is very fun to try and guess what kind of animal they're making, they also explain you why certain fantasy creatures can't exist based on biology which is also very interesting.
The characters are really funny most of the time even when they repeat certain jokes, since all of them have a very specific personality and you can tell who designs what just in the

1st episode, i specially love kanamori since she's basically trans and never , not even once the series makes fun of that , on the opposite they gave her the most pretty cloth changes on the show and everyone likes her, it makes me so happy to see a series so entertaining and respectful even when it comes to the religious side (since i was worried they tried to tell you about the bible or something at some point but that never happens, is just about the animals).
I don't know what else to say here, if you like a chill series where they teach you stuff in a funny way this is for you, the OP is very good too, this series does everything right.

I saw this series when i was around 12, despite watching multiple bad series and enjoying them, i absolutely hated this one , but since the moment i saw conception i was wondering if this was as bad as i remember, the answer is kinda, but not really.
See, this anime has a decent plot and decent characters, i'm gonna ignore the ecchi because it was the 2010's and this was all over every anime on that time, so besides that this is decent, however...it has one of the weirdest pacing i've ever seen in a series as a whole.
Until chapter6 you could say stuff makes

sense and goes in one direction but in chapter 7 the whole story feels like is running non stop, episode 7 deals with 4 plot points one after the other to the point it feels like it should belong in two different episodes not just one and after that, stuff keeps happening way too fast, like they're trying to tell a story that was supposed to be longer but in way less chapters, so everything starts to not make sense slowly, the ending feels super rushed too.
Also i'm pretty sure i was a bit bored enough to notice this, but there's several times when something is happening in a short time, is daytime in a scene, they go outside and is night time ???? For real this happens in 3 chapters where i was noticing this, most of the fight scenes if not all of them are in night time so i'm sure this happened more than those 3 , i think they didn't want to deal with fight scenes in daytime for some reason? but it feels like there was not a remote sense of continuity at all between scenes
I guess this is decent, not good imo, but you can get entertained enough. At least i don't hate it as i used to

While i understand this was the first time miyazaki's son directed a movie and i shouldn't be that harsh...i still don't like this movie.
As far as i know this was an adaptation of a book and the author themselves said they didn't liked this movie since it mixed stuff and it felt more like a different thing...and i can see why.
This movie is SO SLOW, that's not really a bad thing if you really know how to do it, like whisper of the heart, but Tales of the Earthsea just feels slow every second, even in the action scenes it feels slow. I watched this

on netflix so i don't know if its the subtitles or what but there's stuff about the plot that i never understood at all, and i don't mean that i didn't understood the concept, but its just that there was stuff that came out of nowhere, mainly the end plot twist.
There's stuff about the plot that appears and you have to assume its just like that but they never try to explain anything most of the time, things just happen and that's just that.
Also even if this is a ghiblie movie, the fact that its extremely slow makes it feel like the animation is not that good but is not like you can do much with this kind of script , the animation IS very good but it just doesn't shine like others.
I guess there's people who can like this film and if this is your case good for you! but i think this is the worst ghibli movie in my opinion
