As the other reviews will tell you, this is a fairly generic shounen anime. Not much else to say about the content matter in the anime, as you can find more in the synopsis.
Story - 8/10
Fairly generic, I wouldn't say it's much better than any other shounen I have seen, but it did manage to grip me, and overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and thought it was written fairly well.
Art - 9/10
The background is all very well drawn, and I thought most of the character designs were fairly unique and looked really good, along with the actual animation.
Sound - 9/10
I probably wouldn't listen to much

of the music outside of the show, but it all did fit it really well. As for the voice acting, I thought that all the voice actors were fairly good and did a fine job of conveying emotion.
Characters - 7/10
All the characters were pretty stereotypical, but they did have moments where they were very distinct, even though the base personalities of everyone were pretty stereotypical of what you'd find in a shounen.
Enjoyment - 10/10
While it didn't have a lot that was unique with it, it was still a very enjoyable anime, and I found it to be one of the more entertaining anime that I've watched in quite a while.
Overall - 9/10
As I said, pretty stereotypical of a Shounen anime, but I felt like they had some things that were pretty unique, and its execution was very good, even though the ending was a little bit of a let down for me.
In the end, I'd recommend this to just about anyone, and I think it's one of the best action anime I've seen, but if you can't deal with any stereotypical elements, then you would most likely not enjoy it.
