Also they have epic moments when they need it, it is bringed in the right time and it's worth the wait for those moments.

Both, Sora yori and Idolish7 may seem as simple and forgettable shows of characters doing cute things, but in reality, both are fantastic stories with memorable characters, a well-handled balance between drama and comedy to tell the stories behind every character, and their motivations to do what they do. They are really two of the shows that impressed me the most in this industry.

There's no protagonist in both series, the show's gonna develop every character and give them their moment to shine. Both are produce by bones, and somehow the humor is very similar too. Both gonna gave you similar vibes, from their characters to the art. The dynamic of the two protagonist is very similar as well, at least to me. Seriously i think that everyone who like vanitas gonna like Bungou as well.

Both animes have characters that follow some tropes but they're gonna face the reality of the industry of the entertainment and how sometimes that can make difficult follow a dream. Both are filled of comedy and drama that are well handled, also the direction and the voice actors of both animes make more special some moments. The characters develop their relationships as the plot goes, and in my opinion it's highly probable that by the end of the series you will have affection for the characters.

Overall this recommendation is because both series are special for how they treat their characters and topics despite what it may seem from their cover. In both series the characters have a strong desire to live with their passions, but they gonna face many and diverse obstacles in the way, there's gonna be emotional moments for sure. Both have well written develop of their characters, and drama around their motivations that touches darker topics than you can expect from a series like these, i would recommend everyone who enjoyed one story to check the other one. However i think Blue Period show these aspects quickly than Idolish7, which it's not bad, cuz i think both can hook you at some point, and yeah I'm saying this hoping that Blue Period get a good adaptation (it seems that it's gonna be good tho).

The music still the main theme for both of the series, but animation and the drama in the plot gets better, their relationships grow even more and you're gonna know more about them. Both have amazing memorable moments and the direction is sweet.

The season 1 are a good introduction to this story, but in season 2 things get more interesting, from their character development, the character relationships, the direction of the anime as well. Also there's new interesting characters that you're gonna love for sure

Both are great upgrades from their respective predecessors, both also develop some characters that weren't talk about before, you're definitely gonna love even more the second season than the first one in both animes.

I feel that both are idol animes that outstand from everyone else because both have different ways to tell their story, their are quite out of the formula and that's cool. Also i think that if you're not into idol animes you should start with these two, i don't think anyone can dislike it no mather how low are your expectations.

Both animes has characters that at this point are well development, also both have a villain that the characters can do nothing about it, and not because their useless or dumb, it's because the villain have an advantage of everyone, in fact you can feel their fear/frustation for that and that makes it interesting.

Both have music as their theme and a lot of tons drama constantly happening to their characters, also in both series the characters wish success in the industry but there's always obstacles in it.

Both have characters struggling with their personal problems, as well both touch some deep/dark themes and their well-handled, i think the most similarity in between is that both got such human characters that you can empathize just by their development which is amazing and satisfactory.
