Seikoku no Dragonar or Dragonar Acadmey in English, is a story about a young man named Ash Blake whose dragon takes the form of a petite, pink-haired girl with a feisty attitude. Not only is that his start to a harem, but is also the start of his journey to become the hero of his kingdom.
(At the time of this review, the manga is still being published with about 7 issues released. I myself have read up to issue 6.)
Overall I give this manga a score of 8. Here's why:
Story: 7
The story so far looks promising. Our protagonist, Ash, is at the bottom
...
of the school and is labeled as a problem child until his dragon, Eco, is born. The story is filled with action, comedy and a bit of romance. You'll see how Ash works his way up in his academy. You will see why so many characters are introduced and kept throughout the works. You'll see why two of the largest kingdoms in the land almost declare total war on each other, just for one dragon. Nothing about these things are child's play either, with there being warriors who could take out thousands of men to terrorists holding hostages in a church. You're in for hell-of-a read when you pick this series up
Art: 7
The art is unique and well-made at certain parts. The characters themselves look similar to those in other mangas. Clothing is nothing too special either. The art shines best though in it's drawings of both machinery and the dragons themselves. It's like a completely different manga when you compare it the the cutesy look of the cast. I especially like the kind of steam-punkish elements with the machines as well. The star marks also have good aesthetic value as well.
Characters: 9
This is where the manga shines the most. It originally starts off with a modest cast side but as it goes along, you meet new characters with old ones getting more and more deeper in to their backstory. Not all the girls come off to initially like Ash. No some have some history with him prior to the events in the manga. Others want him for their own selfish reasons. However, the new characters you meet will also get some story of their own such as the elfish rider, Lukka. They're not one-offs either. No, they keep returning back iin later issues such as the assassin pair from the Zepharos empire. Little by little, you'll be able to piece who they are.
Enjoyment: 8
I enjoy reading this manga very much. It has a nice mix of comedy, action and fan-service. The comedy is unique in its own ways, whereas Eco somehow gets woozy and disoriented from eating crepes, which leads to embarrassing moments for Ash. The fan service also hits you by surprise. One moment Sylvia is talking to her elder sister. The next moment, her top is ripped off by her sisters axe... Very enjoyable.
That is my review on Dragonar academy. A harem-fantasy story where you see how the cast develops as they save their kingdom from all sorts of evils.
I hope you nejoyed this review and enjoy the manga as well.

Guilty crown's an anime that'll have you watching more episodes for all reasons you may not expect. It's sound and voice acting is like music to your ears and the art will keep you glued to the screen. But the predictable story will make you beg for the action scenes and a quarter of the characters will make you facepalm.
The score I gave for this show is a 7/10
Here's why:
Story:5
If your looking for an anime with a story that will catch you off guard with every plot twist or turn. Then this isn't the anime for you.
Shu, our hero, is your average socially inept
...
teenager with a mild case of amnesia on his childhood. He then finds internet singer, Inori, in his club room who is shortly apprehended by the GHQ, a UN employed organization that serves as Japan's government. One thing leads to another and Shu gains the power to pull weapons out of the chest of people (dubbed voids) and joins Funeral parlor, an organization that wants to overthrow the GHQ
The intro keeps you hooked while the fillers eps provide some much needed back story. However, many of the major and imporant events are too predictable such as Shu being relucant to fight for Funeral Parlor. Also, even though it's listed as one of the genres, there is NOT/barely any romance between Inori and Shu (the only noticeable relationship in the series) until the last 6 episodes which I personally disliked
Art:8
The art in this show is glamorous! Whether it's the simple futuristic look of the city or the special effects during the fight scenes, the art style will definitely catch your attention. I personally enjoyed the bands/waves of blue and black when Shu pulls out void weapons. The Mechs look sleek but fierce and the technology looks original which I find amazing.
The characters also look diverse as well as their outfits
Sound: 9
The only thing better than the art are the souds and musics. The musical portions (not including the openings/closings) are completely vocal. The character sound great, though I've only watched the dub so can't compare them to the subs. The machine and other mechanical objects sound realistic and will keep you on the edge of your seat. However my personal favorite are the sounds the voids make. It is not easy to create a sound that involves science fiction weaponry in to it, but the show does it right. Each weapon has it's own unique sound and sound effects themselves are not recycled very often which gets a thumbs up from me
Character: 6
I was going to rate this higher but this score should incorporate ALL of the characters, not just the main ones. Most of the main characters are likeable. They each have their own personality which is good. I didn't like that most of them were static characters. They do not seem to change in tone or attitude save for Shu, Inori and their leader Gai. Don't get me wrong, I like the main characters, even the sadistic Segai.
What I don't like are the amount of minor/supporting characters who get recognition at the end of the series. Arisa, the council president somehow develops feelings for a character during her 5 episode absence. And Rowan, whose name has probably been said less times than there are episodes in the series, gets recognition only for rescuing the tertiary antagonis, Daryl. It's a real let down for me when characters like these get involved in major events at the end of a show.
Enjoyment: 8
This show will keep you hooked, whether it's the amazing soundtrack or art, or if you're interested to see if the story gets any better while progressing. Either way each episode has it's own mix of action or story that keeps it interesting. The fight scenes are Definitely worth watching, as they are the best parts of the anime
That is my score (7). The plot is somewhat good, but predictable, the art is stunning, the sound and music are amazing, and the characters are interesting enough but are very superficial. That is my review for Guilty Crown. I do hope it helps.

Naruto...
What can I say? Next to pokemon, Naruto is a classic. Especially for people who grew up watching it. Now I don't do reviews often so take that in to consideration while you're reading this
Naruto is set in a fictional world where ninja roam the land and use techniques called 'jutsu' to amplify their performance. To do this ninja need chakara (similar to kainin DBZ) which is basically their life's essence. Everyone has it, but ninja know how to harness it.
Story:10
Naruto is a story about a boy with the same name. The story centers around him and hos friends. As it progresses you see
...
everyone maturing and getting stronger as well as bonds deepening. Yhe story is brilliantly complied into it's own arcs, with fillers being in its own arc. You will see rulers rise and fall. Enemies and organizations Being destroyed or created. And all this is happening to a growimg ninja boy
Art: 7
The art was very unique in some episodes. However, you'll mostly see the same kind of background and clothing in the anime. There isn't too much diversity, but when there is, it's extravagant. Just get used to the sight of either a forest, rocky or barren terrain as the fight scenes have all of them
sound: 9
The sounds as well as the music were all amazing. You hear some repeats from there but everything was great. From the dialogue, to the intro and outro music, to the sound effects of the fighting! The sounds definitely make this anime that much more amazing
Character: 10
Each and (almost) every character is improved upon. Even Sakura herself yes. Those who don't need improvement have wonderfully thought out backstories that are impossible to know NOT know. I can't think of any suggestions when it comes to this
Enjoyment: 10
The anime never stops to cease to amaze me. Even after taking a 2-4 year break from it, I came back. Back to the 1st big fight scene between Naruto and Sauske. I wanted to skip fillers and other non-canon episodes so that I can have more time with shippuden. But I couldn't. Thats how enjoyable Naruto is...
Final score: 9- Great
This anime hit the mainstream market and is praised by many for good reason. It is a one of a kind action comedy anime. Perhaps it may be for you or it may not. Who knows, you can be the next guy/gal running around with their hands behind their back ;)

Date a live is your typical 1 man and 3 girls (currently) harem, with a science fiction/extraterrestrial twist. I give this anime an
8/10
Here's why...
Story:7
The story is thought out (to some extent) and charming for some parts but it loses it's vibe after a few episodes. It had a thing going on with the fate of the world in the balance... at least for a few episodes when they realize only one of these spirits (the alien girls) were causing 99% of the quakes in Japan
Art:9
There is a lot of different art styles for the various mechs and firearms in this anime. However, most look either
...
reused from either other animies or had different 'models' of their older variants, with a select few being original
Sound:10
The sound was perfect for me whether it ranges from buildings collapsing, to lazers being fired, to sirens going off, to the actual voice acting
Character:8
There are many characters in this anime, with only a few being the main characters, but even they get no screen time in some episodes or play minimal roles. For instance, the "princess spirit" Goes from noble-amnesiac hardy warrior to common jelous-type school girl. And then we have the classic dude who wants to save everyone yet always gets himself in messy situation.
Enjoyment:8
Nothing too memorable in this, well maybe that slight friendly fire in the 3rd to 4th episode (but c'mon we saw that coming) but it is definitely worth your time if you like girls (especially dangerous ones) fighting for one mans attention.
That is my review. Whether you agree with it or not, I just want it to clear some points about this anime

Elfen lied was one of the few animes that had lots of blood and Gore, romance and still had an interesting plot. No point in me telling the summary and making this review longer than it should (summary can be found on main page of both anime and manga adoptions ).
My overall score is a 9. Here's why...
Story: 9
This show isn't for the faint of heart but tells an interesting story if you can get past the blood and nudity. It has been very thought out and I couldn't find too many moments that made me think "WTF" or "that doesn't make sense". I give
...
it a 9 because the story doesn't completely answer all your (or maybe it's only me) questions at the end. (Yea, yea, I know what you're saying "READ THE MANGA DUDE" but I don't have the time or money for that)
Art: 8
I like the way it shows the portraits in the opening. Other than that it's just your regular art style site
Sound: 7
The same sounds were used frequently throughout the show. It also sounded unrealistic sometimes
Characters: 10
The characters were possibly my favorite part in this show. Each character was unique and tied in to the story nearly. Each had most to all character's backgrounds told and there weren't to many random characters tossed in just to advance the story.
Enjoyment: 10
The story always kept you guessing, always keeping you tensed about what's going to happen next episode. Fantastic characters and well thought out stories go a long way. But fortunately, the show delivers much more than that. I love how it shows man at its worst and what true enlightenment and kindness mean.
To show the Last light in a sea of darkness.

Gurren Laggan. Two words can put it in to a good summery. FRICKIN EPIC. The story is amazing the characters are uniqe and it's simply original.
Art-9/10
The art is very good considering the proportions of all the mechas however, the anime changed directors a couple of times in some episode which made the characters look diffrent so i give this a 9/10.
sound- 9/10
Very good sound. It's just a few parts and bits through out it that gave it a 9. sometimes the sounds wont play according to the image or simply seem out of place for what's going on.
characters and enjoyment 10/10
The characters were simply AWESOME,
...
they were mainly the reason why the enjoyment is 10/10. They all have different and wonderful personalities and differences but can and will put it all aside in order to reach their goal.

Love hina is a fantastic show. Every episode kept me smiling and at least made me laugh once! Those who love romantic comedies will definitely enjoy this show.
Most of Love hina's episodes are stick to the main story but there are a few that are little misadventures that the group go through. Those few episodes focus on certain characters. For example, there is one episode that focuses on shinobu's first kiss.
Love Hina was MADE IN 2005! So all of you who are complaining about it's "simple" animation just stop.
