In last season we were left off at a cliffhanger.
I was very eager to find out what happened to the characters, they seemed to be left in a desperate state. The opening song made an nostalgic appearance further making me want to die for more. You think I'm being too generous to giving the show a majority of 10's but let me tell you, the scores represent my rating completely.
Warning (Spoilers)
In about two years later ...
Of a very good way, the story had lots of really strong dynamic characters who changes as the story progresses to the next but you don't see a
...
lot of changes until the second season starts. I think their goal was to make the watchers comfortable and get to now the cast before the going on into the action.
The series started out with Asseylum Princess in deep support to make peace with the earth ... and it had ended with that. It was perfect.
There was something daunting me that I didn't want to happen, after Cruhteo died by the hands of the enemy. It saddens me that they decided to eliminate him. I know he had it figured out but I didn't know it turned out that his realization made him face death. He was a strong believer, they could have saved him. May you rest in peace.
The second I heard Inaho and that the other main character survived I was happy to death. It meant I can watch them do their famous signature moves too. There were lots of surprises along the way that I just can't believe. happened (and you'll see) I was worried about Inaho to the end because of complications with his missing eye he had been shot earlier, that was two years ago. It made me afraid that he would be sacrifice. But of course not, it there was a third season, maybe likely not but I hope none of them will do that.
One last thing, I absolutely loved the beginning and ending songs. Since I play an instrument it was easy to pick up the notes. Their 2nd ED song "I Say Cry" was very catchy and the lyrics seems to match everything about the plot. It isn't weird I'm just stating that it's a masterpiece. Maybe you guys could check it out too. It was last present in the first season.
I don't have a firm grasp of my memory in the places names and named units but in general I understood the basic situation going on. For example, how bad a damage was and the objectives they had with them.
The dialogue was a little bit difficult to interpret, it occurred that I had to stop once in awhile to understand what the character had just said.
It was nothing serious really. It's not the series fault, either the translator or the Anime itself was adapted to respond in some intellect dialogue. In short it depends on the individual if they understand. The thing wasn't impossible to interpret.
but.... If I can understand it, you could too. eheh
Enough said that's why I make reviews for this reason, I am always forced to forget even if I don't want to. Your experience might not go the way I did. You might go through a whole series without ever stopping. I on the other hand wanted to understand everything that was present in front of me and I did it.
The series was a hit, there are lots of Kataphrakt battles (still trying hard to learn how to spell that Gigantic word). I hope you guys do watch the second season if you haven't. Aldnoah.Zero is a must watch.
Happy Hunting!

At first I was very bored of the whole OVA thing. They aren't really tied to the main story that significantly so why bother?
But then ... Obsession is my specialty, I had to watch the watch the OVA's of Shingeki no Kyojin, that anime was a best and you'll always miss it in the end, waiting for the next season is anticipating and I did not have patience.
It's sad but, my experience/ moments I had with AOT is slowly deteriorating, I'll soon need some recap for my head before watching the second season.
My first thought of the slow process
...
while watching Ilse's Journal(3 OVA'S), was kind of boring. As for the next two OVA'S(Last) I was struck in awe of the whole story. I could say the OVA: A Choice With No Regrets could have been a standing on new series by it's own. A few changes here and there and you have yourself a rock hit animation. I'm just saying it could be but not saying I support it, cause it could ruin the anime. The art is of course the same as the original where it came from, still fantastic.
No Regret focuses on Levi's past and everything before he joined the Survey Corps and why. (I was shocked to that Levi had a criminal record and even more shocked was that he used to live underground before), Three friends, Isabel, Farlan and Levi make livings by stealing money as they are stuck in the Underground Capital whom the Outside throws people to suffer and die.
Though, I don't understand. Shouldn't the Underground place be a good place to hide citizens (humanity) while/ during a Titan invasion, Titans would not discover them easily am I right?
Why wouldn't people do that instead of running further into the walls. They have a really weak system plus dangerous too not to mention it. Other than the harsh conditions it seems there are lights and shelter built to live in. I don't see why it can't be a hideout. It ticks me off that people who live there want a chance to go out to live on the surface. I would say it's doing suicide for yourself.
But either way the I can kind of comprehend story is trying to avoid the Underground solution and head the plot for a massacre of humanity sacrifice so that everyone can have a turn dying. That's what people think are "more interesting". I don't blame them plus the side story was a good one besides the argument I had above earlier. The idea of a Titan apocalypse is better, if it were not planned and written I would not have met Levi or any of the characters.
Let the OVA explain the rest, but the Story has a group of three with Levi as their 'leader'. They learned to move with the 3D Maneuver Gear by themselves efficiently in a matter of practice. Their burglaries and fast skilled talents and success made them get captured by Erwin Smith and the three of them decide to join the Survey Corps to the outside. Why? Because they had a mission from Councilman Lovof which he promised they would get full citizen from the outside if they cooperate with him. They agreed.
A Choice With No Regrets was the best thing ever but I think two episodes were a little too little for a strong and prominent character like Levi, I wanted much more. It's title explains itself at the end like a hopeless flag in a sunrise horizon and the story was very touching and revengeful. Levi was kind of left nowhere to go other after his comrades went than follow Erwin and embark on their Journey, I was happy it turn that way . A part I really enjoyed was .... I squealed when Levi showed the other Survey Corps how killings are done and also the way he hold the blades had a unique feeling acted. Levi always was a child prodigy plus his extremely calm demeanor, He moved fast and is strongest of them all. You'll see more in the story that he has a good heart to begin with, it's not as visible as the others but he does have a good side to him. That's what I like about Levi.
This short story is totally worth a watch. I cannot tell you how intrigued and moved I was from this. I enjoyed every last breathe. When it was done I wanted more, oh how I can't wait to see Levi again. (Thank you Hajime Isayama, for making this story come to life.)
Ok, That settles it!
I'm taking him as my husband no matter how old he is. hehe

A conflicted battle between Earth and Mars, The Princess used as a sacrifice to start war once again ...
"Let Justice Be Done, Though the Heavens Fall" - Aldnoah.zero
Story (9)
The story was.. how do I say it? Its was a clean one. There were parts that were hard to believe, . Just how fragile are humans exactly? The mecha robots(Kataphrakt) just fling them away like a piece of flimsy paper. It just makes a person question how weak and unarmed they are without something like machines. In fact an example could be Rayet's father being crushed in a matter of seconds
...
after successfully (thinking) exterminating Mars princess. The ironic thing is he got killed by the same person who ordered him to. haha Poor Rayet was left to mourn. The story left me out of my seat and my eyes alert.
Characters (8)
First off there are no such things as a flawless one. There were minor things that I didn't like.. like how the King of Mars was a little too foolish. He was easily ticked off by his enemies believing every word they said, it made me mad that he declared war once again. I wanted to yell "Hey mister, I don't care what you are but don't you know the consequences and how many people are going to be killed under your stupid demand?!"
What was disturbing was more than his actions but to put it the animators did a very poor job of the kings structure. He looked like an old lady if you asked me. Just his image was spoiled, it made me question "Was this really the guy who founded the Vars empire and was given right of supreme authority to rule the Martians?" .. huh, I guess this is what happens when you get old.
I honestly liked Slaine and Inaho. I just props for the creators who gave them such unique names as for the other characters too. Slaine is a character who acts upon his feelings but he did swear his loyalty to the princess in the end. He got beaten up but he never gave information to the enemy. Slaine is what you call a knight, a hero. I was sad that kind of changed afterwards. As for Inaho, I liked characters that have intelligence and this guy did what I adored. He is calm, smart and calculative (top of the class), something I admired in him. He reminded me of Lelouch, except once has the power of absolute obedience while the other just had his brain. heh. I can't wait what kind of development they make next.
Enjoyment (9)
To be frank, I enjoyed watching the whole season, every thing wasn't hard to interpret anymore once you get into the mood. Humans can do pretty extraordinary things, it's entertaining to see towers being blown up plus strategies being discussed, and bitter memories. Either way this story made me look at the future and all the possibilities that goes with it. They challenge me, humans are really something.
Art and Sound (10)
This part is the most vital part of the review since the art and sound gives the anime the pure action and liveliness. The same as bringing the light to moon. The music is catchy plus foreign and making the story suspenseful when it's there. The sound of the characters is just right pitched and serves the characters purpose as they are assigned to. It's a good coordination to the story.
Overall (9)
The start was slightly confusing with all the real actions but let the characters explain and you got the whole thing in your head. The moon being blown up idea wasn't that bad but it shocked me that Earth lives without it, it felt weird. The action was pretty intense and I always get all fan-girly when Inaho shows up to save the day. I have to thank Olympus Knights and A-1 Pictures for making this series happen. It's was a masterpiece combined with all the work people put together. I enjoyed this whole series, I cannot wait for more.

Seriously, I haven't heard of Nisekoi until there was one in my face. I know that I like Romance but this anime just made it to the extreme. I cannot express how this anime went to my liking as planned and if I could I could have went out and thanked all the creators and producers..etc there is. My favorites are when Raku shows his kindness and selfless towards others, he is such a gentlemen. I also like when he cooks for his Yazuka Clan. It makes me scream " I want you for my husband!" That fact that Chitoge is clueless of love
...
also makes the plot and everything around interesting. The art is wonderful with everlasting effects. I've cherished every episode out there on it, I can't wait for the second season to come out. If I could I would even buy merchandise, but unfortunately it's impossible, my parents don't allow it. Something similar to this would maybe be Special A or Black Bullet but they are not even close to the perfection of this series. Hehe. Raku and Chitoge always fight and Raku is always wondering where this girl that made promises ten years ago was. It makes the watchers marvel the progress the characters undergo. It exceptional as an anime. No one can top this except maybe Attack on Titan? Am I being hypocritical? Nah..peshh

I had a 100% satisfaction of this anime. At first I thought it was one of those -regular, normal boring animes- that I usually come arcoss once in a while, but no. The moment I entered this series I knew the thing had me going already. There's romance in which I absolutely love. Chihayfuru has taught me to love Competition and Karuta.
Let me explain, The basic idea of any Karuta game is to be able to quickly determine which card out of an array of cards is required and then to grab the card before it is grabbed by an opponent. It requires memory
...
and skill.
I absolutely love the opponents and Chihaya's favorite fictional character, daddy bear. I wished there was a third season so I could find out what happens to the romance stirring. It left me at a clift hanger. I generally love it when the guy has this one sided-love. It's amusing to watch their happening. I love it even more that Chihaya is clueless. Yep, that concludes my review. Hope I watch anime's like these again. I wonder what my next one might be.. hmm Special A? Nah, I've already watched that.
