I come back to this every once or twice a year to gawk and just stare at how the illogicality of how fast they do sequencing and how it looks cool lmao
Talking seriously, its bad. The world-view is basically a foreign concept, the stupid logic of how shirone was even able to live past 10, and all of the other stuff I wont press on, however, I really like how raw the interaction between main trio felt, I like how stupid the author is trying to implement sequencing even though he sounds stupid (so far), aside from that, It's a typical read and drop type
...
manhwa, a half-assed work picked up by redice(which is why I started reading the novel*).
TL;DR no part of this makes it a good story, but good attempt at putting in real life concepts such as gaussian's works. made me study about intervals in sequence, and some of it's branches.
hate how this novel is even categorized as manga by mal btw

As usual, I'm going to try make a review as objective as possible, but! I want to tell everyone reading here to take note of some important parts of this story that they really "accentuated" in a word I guess.
1. The "FMC" is a boy, yes there is a whole controversy(apparently) about him, but I'm going to just say my (mostly subjective) opinion about it. It's weird. Seeing such a topic(gender/sex) being discussed so openly. I usually go out of my way to avoid them because I really would not waste my time on it, but my opinion on it is that I hate people
...
who stereotypically take that, sort of received idea where they just make it their whole personality.
Anyways, TL;DR is that, Author is trying to emphasize that it's OK to tell people near you(ones you can trust ofc), and the experiences of (arguably) a gay person who loves a bisexual guy and how they think it would play out.
2. This is in a really best scenario type thing honestly. The setting is all conveniently set up where they are just allowed to cross-dress and use make-up in school(Well, at least I'm not allowed to do such "gyaru/gal-type" things in my school. Won't talk about his parents opinion because it's conveniently glanced over and I could go on and on about how isolated he was in the first place to even think like that.
3. I'm adding this as a post-writing sort of thing, but the author's writing is... realistic? in a word? It's openly talking about the author's opinions and all that stuff about crossdressing, I'm pretty bad at expressing my love for stuff so just read it! (Even if my review is going to be pretty pessimistic from here on out, sorry... )
TL;DR it's best case scenario, don't try at home kids!
___________
Maybe spoiler stuff here so don't read if you don't want to get spoiled(up until chapter 55, yes i'm going to finish this without sleep yes it's 1am and today is a school sports festival but whatever I'll go strong and bring back the win)
Skip to the end if you just want to read my TL;DR opinion
___________
1. I HATE how they played out Yoimachi and Ginnojou's relationship. Absolutely horrible. They could've done so much more, it's so wasted(IN MY OPINION OK IDM IF YOU BASH ME) btw idk if Ginnojou is his family or given name, sorry if it's his given name.
2. As I said in my earlier part about their parents, why would you ever just skip the part about him admitting to his parents? They did well in the other parts of the story, just personally I guess, Mihate admitting it should be the most impactful part of the story. Sure you can argue that the parents were busy, but It feels sort of... half-done you know?
2.1. Same with Yoimachi's character, currently in chap 56, Ginnojou and Yoimachi have this like-like relationship and it's nice and all, but why would you tease it after making Yoimachi look like an absolute bitch for rejecting Ginnojou a whole 26 times? Leave the girl alone... Anyways I hate both of these.
Yes I found this manga from a pinterest post and a youtube shitpost but even before that I saw it on mangarock even back then so my hopes were higher than necessary
_____
BUT!! / Overall TL;DR
Absolutely magnificent art and Phenomenal writing by the author. They write(what looks like) helpful makeup tips and general how-to-look better tricks in the earlier parts and focused on the romance on the latter half. A bit sad I'm lowering it, but it's still an 8 from me.
That's all cya, thanks for reading this redundant opinion of mine that probably lowered your expectation of the manga.
I'm finishing it until the last chap tho lol
Song I listened to while reading this manga
Green Light (《爱上她的理由》李诗雅角色曲女生版)ー (lit. tl would be (《Reasons to fall in love》The Girl Downstairs OST Girl Version) by kirbylu music
Editing because I forgot to warn, this is a BL manga so just skip it if you have the ick for stuff like that, it's really hard to see if it's BL because well.. yes.

I probably won't make this long because it's such a vague memory.
I first read this when mangarock was starting to boom, so around 2013-2016? my peak edge era lol.
I guess this first attracted me because it started off as a sort of, light-hearted 4-koma + webtoon mix with a lot of plot hidden in every panel.
Like I said, I don't have much vivid memories about this, however, I think this and black haze really stuck in my mind as outliers haha.
It's not a review perse, moreso a vent.
TL;DR
Read if you want, very good paneling and the plot was innovative for it's time(2009).

Honestly, this had a really interesting concept to start off. He has power, but it comes at a cost. I might sound weird for being happy for basically saying I enjoy him suffering from the "consequences" of his powers, which I definitely don't, I would have definitely wouldn't be able to cope with it like he does, just that there's too many op mc stories that "somehow still have a villain/rival even though they're 10 times stronger than the current strongest in the current era".
Chapter 0 started off with no context at all,
...
but they slowly explained everything slowly, so that's why it was pretty sad that it got axed at literally 10 chapter. Although I'm pretty sure it's the same as Ihoujin, Dungeon Ni Moguru. Where they made a manga solely to promote the novel, since I saw ~3 Volumes of LN on novelupdates.
Story-wise I'd say it's alright, maybe it was because it was too overwhelming for me, since it was pretty confusing honestly. Description said something about 1000 years in the Underworld. At first I was like, alright maybe he has 1000 years in the Underworld, but maybe he managed to keep remembering that one day just maybe he can go back to his normal life and he did. but then I reread and it was his family lol, but still, even though stuff just didn't add up, It's a 9.
Character, it was good, but too little character for me to say it's great, so yea a 7 i guess.
Enjoyment, It was like drinking cold soda after pizza. Truly refreshing to see new concepts on 3 different over-used content and all 3 were used perfectly(in my opinion at least). One is a spoiler to his past but 2 of them are written in the description which were his dual powers of Spiritual Power and Magical Power. again, reasons for both are in the 10 chapter manga.
Overall, I probably misunderstood some other part of the plot, but it was a great read.
