While Demon King Academy does take the common overpowered character trope, it actually manages to provide a thoughtful mystery-esque story with a foundation supported not only with Anos' fan club but with fair amounts of worldbuilding and explanation of Anos's doings. So what makes this stand out from the others?
The story follows a recognizable pattern of arcs where characters are introduced, understanding their purpose and confronting Anos in the end. The only nitpicks I had with the storytelling is that they could have slowed down a bit, as at some points the pace was quite fast to not leave a substantial impact for upcoming

As Winter 2019's most popular airing show, it's kind of funny how the isekai genre as generic as people normally think of it can still be entertaining and creative even though the elements that you normally find in it aren't unique and just the common tropes. It's fun to see how the characters react and the resulting outcome as shown by Naofumi against the rest of society.

This is my first review and as such won't be as refined but some things I'd like to point out about this show. I liked it.
