Cheesy love stories are gross. Romcoms suck and make me vomit. The dialogue is always cringe, the characters are always one-dimensional and boring. The jokes are never funny, the plots are static and predictable. The lesson, if there is one, is always the same; it's never poignant and it quickly grows stale. They pretend to be realistic but they never are and the emotional climaxes are wasted as you slap yourself in the face wishing you would wake up from the nightmare. It's really like a form of torture and people love to just shit stuff like that out because it's so easy and simple

I'm in tremendous pain and I really want to die.
No other anime causes such pain and yearning for death. Please don't watch this if you wish to enjoy life. Okay, in all seriousness this anime is truly one of a kind and is definitely a must watch for any weeb worth his weight in gold. It's not everyone's cup of tea, and to hate this show is just as valid as to love it; but ultimately you just have to watch it and decide for yourself. There's nothing I can say nor anything that I should say; this show is best dove into with as few preconceptions ... |
