Pray/Annie have a similar relationship to Miksasa/Eren. Both give a sense of dread as many characters are killed. The human race has to face a race that is much stronger than them, but luckily they have enhanced weapons.

Both protagonists lift the spirit of their teammates, short and not one to be looked down upon. The other characters are also likable. There is comedy and a road to becoming the best (kind of obvious).

- Nina's innocence is somewhat similar to Sawako. - Sawako's inability to touch her boyfriend normally reminds me of how Kyousuke tests Nina when she asked him to look at her in a romantic view. - Both give off a cute feeling. - Shoujo manga

They both have their cat chasing mouse development (Kira & L - Crimson Robe & Detective). One who sees justice in a violent way and he commits his acts through banned ways/forbidden means while another who follows supposedly to the law. They are both interesting and will keep you guessing--wanting more after each chapter you read.

Both the comedy in the mangas are somewhat the same so it always makes me laugh, but HGS is more romantic. The art they do is similar as well. I recommend you check out either of these mangas, if you like one of them you're sure to like the other. I'll give you a warning for HGS though, there are parts where it seems that the protagonist's mom is against homosexuality if you think that's annoying, don't bother reading it. However, this is not a big part of the manga so I'd recommend you to overlook that fact. :)

They are similar in the way that the two main characters smoke, are only concentrated on winning/being the best (very tactical in their decisions), and finally they owe someone something and enter the baseball scene in order to pay the person back. The stories are entertaining too. :)

The art to me is quite similar and the logic behind these stories is so interesting. It will keep you gripped and wanting to know more! Not everything is what you think it appears to be. The Liar Game is not as optimistic as Shibatora though. Anyway, if you like the other you should definitely check this out.
