They kinda wasted our time with this season. They dragged out the "hiding" the fake relationship too much, Mami had no real character progression this season even though they set it up well in the first season. They made it seem like he'd finally addressed the Ruka situation but of course that too was needlessly dragged out to the point of "Is this idiot ever going to snap out of it and do the right thing by braking up with her???". The pacing of the story was just stagnate like we weren't getting anywhere.
The better way of handling this season would have been to start

I'm going to keep it real with you. The first episode was so appalling I dropped it right away. But let me explain why. I've been watching anime for a while now and usually follow the 3 episode rule because usually you can see what an anime is all about within the first three episodes but this one...didn't need it.
First of all one of my biggest peeves in anime is when they do not introduce the characters before getting into the show. My biggest complaint isn't the GOD AWFUL CGI but the very......very bad directing. It starts out at a point where the protagonist ...

Yes, the animation and art in this show is untouchable when it comes to quality. It's mind boggling to watch because of how they integrate CGI and 2D animation.
But that's not the only reason I love this show. The character design is actually amazing, we may get distracted with how extreme Zenitsu and Inosuke are in terms of personality. You could say that's also because of Tanjirou's relaxed nature that makes them even more drastic. However when you really pay attention to the look and attitudes of the other characters you can tell a lot of creativity and context went into them. I LOVE ... |
