1/10 Irredeemable: Something that either does absolutely nothing right without anything I like at all, or pisses me off so much that I can't bring myself to enjoy aspects of it I would've enjoyed otherwise.

2/10 Horrible: Generally has at least something I liked, even if it's so bad that I'll never think of that one positive thing unless I'm thinking about the rating. Otherwise, a 2 is generally less frustrating than a 1.

3/10 Very Bad: Probably the hardest rating to think about, and the one I give out the least by far. I kind of like to think of this as a more positive extension of a 2.

4/10 Bad: Either something that's agonizingly boring, or genuinely awful with the caveat that there's something in there I genuinely do really like.

5/10 Mid: Usually reserved for shows that just aren't for me. Otherwise, they're shows I think are neither good nor bad. They don't inspire any positive emotion out me, but it's not like they inspired negative emotion out of me either, aside from potential boredom.

6/10 Decent: Usually given to slop shows that I got a kick out of. These shows aren't really good, but they're generally enjoyable. I also tend to give this rating to shows that I found disappointing in some way. It's probably unfair to rate something lower due to expectation, but there are times where something drops the ball and I have to give it this score. I usually find these series to have very strong redeeming qualities as well, which prevents a 5.

7/10 Good: The start of shows that I enjoy without any caveats attached. If a show is good and happens to be my thing, expect me to give it a 7 at the lowest. From here on out, ratings become less influenced by trying to gague objective quality and more on how much something can get raw emotion out of me. As a result, a 7 is the last rating I'd give to something that I don't have much reason to revisit.

8/10 Great: The first rating I'd give to a show I'd strongly consider rewatching in the future. An 8 tends to make me think about it more than a 7 does, and it harbors stronger emotions out of me.

9/10 Amazing: Basically just an enhanced 8. Either that, or its a borderline masterpiece that I have some sort of significant problem with regardless of how much I love it.

10/10 Masterpiece: A very rare rating for me to give, but a masterpiece is a work that will always stick in my mind no matter what. It's rare because if everything's masterpiece, nothing is. That's why it's truly special when something is able to move me to such a strong extent. These works tend to change the course of my life forever.
