I do not write much reviews for anime, unless it stood out among others. So many words can be used to describe what is called Now and Then, Here and There, but can words really describe it? Well I thought not, but I will try my best to use words to write this review.
If you, or whoever might read this, is in a hard position or in a bind that involves losing hope for anime and if it has lost its peak or even losing hope in general for the future, stop there. Right now. What one could call this particular anime might
...
be a piece of art, or just anime, plain and simple as that, but nevertheless, it is something that reaches you over time, something that lingers in the back of your mind long after you watch it. Oh yes, it is something that might inspire you or rid you from your agony, if any, or your sorrows. I will not be giving away the plot of this one, neither will I explain the depth of the characters or the setting or the world building or music. What I will explain though- most importantly- is the message represented throughout it.
The main message in this anime deals with one topic and its sub-topics: Endurance. In the beginning, themes are shown such as hardships and what it is to suffer and how different people with different personalities cope with it. One cannot find happiness unless one is prepared to endure the pain that is needed to achieve it. The main character, Shu, is unexpectedly struck with pain and hardships, but he handles each situation wisely, perhaps without fault. This means that he is clinging onto the little hope that he sees, which is what this whole anime is all about. Shu is enduring every single moment of his new life that was forced onto him, he is moving forward and he does not give up or give in to what is wrong. This is important because it is something evident in real life or even an example of how one should be in their life. The whole world can be wrong, ugly, and utterly selfish, but if there is even an atom of hope left, then one should grab it and hold it tight, because someday things will get better.
This is all how I can describe this anime. I did not want to drag the review and explain every single aspect in detail, because that would only spoil the mood of the show and keep you from experiencing it yourself, wouldn't it?

This is a review where I will be as straightforward as I can. Bastard is something else, and I will explain why.
I read this in a week and I found this one to be a kind of slow burner. Bastard starts off really tense, where you get to know a couple of things (no spoilers) that might stress you out or even keep you on edge. The main character, Jin, is an emo kid who is being bullied at school and he has problems with his father (serious problems) that he wants to clear. His relationship with his father made his life kind of
...
miserable and he dies not havr any friends. Now, the story is great, but its not perfect. There is an intense atmosphere and vibe throughout the whole story, and also an immense of stress that you'll come across. The character art was really unique and it added to the emo feel.
The ending was also pretty cool, and I definitely reccomend this manhwa for everyone. Go check it out.

"Go beyond the impoasible and kick reason to the curb"
The words of a iconic character, which was the centre and focus of the plot. Now, Gurren Lagann is something else. This is the kind of show that you have to look at carefully, because if you don't, you'll misunderstand a lot of things and miss the finer details. In the beginning, Simon, our protagonist, is a self pitying person who meets a good friend called a Kamina. Kamina is like a brother to Simon. He supports him and pulls him back to life when Simon starts to doubt himself.
The whole show evolves around Simone and
...
his development with other characters and how he changes. Kamina is thr main inspiration for everyone, to fight until they win, without running away. The other characters were a huge help to Simon and they supported him as well.
I don't want to spoil too much for you, so I will keep this very brief. Watch the show and try to see it for what it really is about: Friendship. If you look at it that way, you won't be disappointed.

Cardcaptor Sakura is probably the most underrated anime I have come across since 2016. People tend to misjudge the anime for being a happy-go-lucky magical girl anime. Well, this show is definitely more than it sounds and here's why:
Story: The story development for this anime was really great, even though the latter part seemed to be a bit repetitive, the overall storyline did well. Cardcaptor Sakura starts off slow, and then gets fun filled until you reach the latter half, where things begin to get emotional. This is a 70 episode long anime after all, but I assure you the story does not go down
...
hill once.
Characters: Oh man. The characters were really something else. Firstly our protagonist, Sakura Kinomoto, was a gem. She has a sweet personality, she cares more for others than just herself and she handles hard situations extremely well. She has a mature attitude, and by that I don't necessarily mean that she's serious and heavy hearted, but she's earnest. Our second protagonist, which is Syaoran, is also great. He is a bit stubborn in the beginning but his feelings for Sakura gradually builds up as the anime goes on. Sakura's best friend, Tomoyo, has a calm personality and even though she does not have magical powers herself, she is an essential character in the anime, because with her, she and Syaoran and Sakura are like the three musketeers. Their friendship is strong from start to finish.
Art: The art of this show was beautiful. Even for an older anime made in 1998, the art blends in well with the tone of the story and the background art also blends in with the characters. This will surely prove you that you don't have to underestimate old anime.
Sound: The music, damn, the music. It gives away the feel of an ocean or that feeling when you look at the sea and watch the waves. The music is smooth and adds a heartwarming feel to the anime. The openings and endings were also both great.
Enjoyment: By now you probably want to know if this anime is enjoyable or not. Well, it is. This is a anime with great character development, story development and the ending was really heart-felt. I enjoyed this show a lot, right up until the end.
Overall: Cardcaptor Sakura is amazing, do not underestimate it and I definitely reccomend this to people who wants to see an older anime and for people who wants to break away from the hardcore action, blood and gore for a while. Just check it out and see for yourself.

This is a brilliant anime. Everything blends in well with the story and the adaptation of the manga is great. I will be explaining a view things that made this show what it is.
Keep in mind, this show does not shy away from violence and the latter half of the show is much darker than the first part. The characters, especially th protagonists, are amazing, they are strong and never gives up on their adventure. The art was visually stunning and the sound addedbto the atmosphere, art and feel for this whole anime. Well done. Was this a enjoyable show? Yes. Definitely. The show gets
...
more excited in the latter half and even though there is only one season, it is still worth the time.
Overall, this was a masterpiece for me, but you should just watch it and see for yourself.
