Kuroshitsuji is set in the Victorian Era and Gosick is set between WWI and WWII, with a few similarities in plots such as a "war that will involve the whole world". Gosick starts off with Victorica solving mysteries and then getting into main plot. Kuroshitsuji is much the same, with Ciel completing various missions for the queen at the start. These two are also used as models or dolls; Victorica as a gothic loli, and Ciel dressed in adorable costumes. They have a loyal black haired companion that would give anything to serve them. These two anime have various dark themes to them, like the occult and smuggling, but make easy viewing for most audiences. I'd say give them both a go, since are also some key differences that keep both titles fresh.

Both female protagonists must learn some form of music (violin and composing) with little or no former experience. The two go through a period of little self-confidence, and have to overcome that with a lot of practice and learning. Some jealousy is directed towards the two. They are surrounded by male students who help them and they befriend. Both happen to be prodigious in their respective music schools and have to compete with other students. The competing musicians and idols are admired by the rest of the student body. Also, these two animes encourage that love of music is enough motivation.

The most hilarious situations, characters and school lives you could find. Each character has their own quirks, and both animes are slice of life. Though in Ouran the group consists of mostly boys, in Azumanga Daioh it consists of mostly girls. Both have a genius stuck in a somewhat hopeless group of friends. Azumanga Daioh and Ouran Highschool Hostclub are random, and yet worth the watch.

Both have to do with magic, cute girls, and love. They are both aimed at the younger crowd of girls (9-14 guesstimated) and both are quite innocent. Though they have different plot lines, they have to do with love among family, friends, humans, and themselves. Oh, and they both have a small group of friends cheering them on

Skip Beat!

Both of these animes have to do with a girl trying to reach their goals in show biz. They both made me laugh and kept me in tune with the characters very well. I love the fact that they were driven by their emotions and kept competing when things might have seem down. Full Moon has a very innocent and sweet approach, while Skip Beat has a more funny and eccentric way to look at it. If magic-girl animes aren't your cup of tea, Skip beat will definitely please you with a more realistic trip. (Oh, and don't forget both had awesome songs)
