Characters- unoriginal, shallow motivation, acted as plot devices more than anything, character development was random and unnatural, relationships between characters were spontaneous and poorly developed.
Dialogue- boring and stifled
Art and music- both fine, but art is kind of stiff and boring, especially during dog fights
Story and Setting- Cliche, and terrible. I have not been so uninterested in the plot since pokemon. Plus the pacing was just so horrendous. Scenes that should be fast are slow and boring. Scenes which could develop characters are random, misplaced, and sometimes a bit confused. Everything about the pacing is poor.

As this season is following, what I considered to be a fairly enjoyable show, this season was a severe let down. My advice is to skip this season, and simply remember the show as the 14 episodes that it was to begin with back in 2006.
This is not just a bad sequel, it is a bad show period. I am shocked to see that this has average score above a 3, much less 7. This show is the same uninteresting episode repeated 8 times.
