"The Will of Fire" spends the entire time telling Naruto to let Kakashi die, that there is no other way to defeat the antagonist, but the movie has his name and we can't make the character give in to the logic and experience, we have to make it super idealistic and irrational. Oh, and agreeing at the end just because and on top of that betraying the coherence of the magic system and preventing the villain from absorbing his rasenshuriken despite having been able to absorb even the chidori more times than I can count on my hands. .
The fights before the finals had creative

It's a Naruto movie, there wasn't much to expect from this. Incredibly, it did not disappoint me, but not because it was good, but because I expected a fairly mediocre production, a cashgrab for the fans.
Much of The Lost Tower is built on the viewer knowing a little about the series. If this is not the case, you will not understand the reason for many of the characters or the dialogues. Naruto is Naruto, there is nothing more. The real protagonist, Sara, is a flat character who they tried to give a hero's path to, but her execution was pretty bad. The villain, as is customary ... I just came from finishing the first three volumes of Jujutsu. I didn't like them, aint gon lie. But this short volumen was pretty nice compared to those three, even if it felt flat and rush at the end.
The MC has a decent characterization (much better than freaking Itadori) but the short length of the volumen prevents it from developing well. Like, at the end MC managed to come to terms with all the traumatic events he experienced and gets overpowered as heck without a good justification. And saying "because Rika" is a weak reason, she's just an OP plot device with no limitations" (kinda ... Jul 16, 2023

This is your typical shonen about a guy who is the worst but for some reason wants to be the best.
The characters are super basic and bland and the setting is super generic: a damn school for superheroes. The plot itself has nothing interesting to offer aside from the fact that the MC has a power that brakes his boby when he uses it, but guess what? He just needs to learn to control it. How? Just trying. There's no reasoning behind it, eventually he would just achieve it and that's it. That means the only thing that didnt bored me about the show its going ... Jul 11, 2023
Boring to the death. Rengoku got a fantastic introduction on the first episode, actually it was one of the best episodes ive watched on any show ever. But this is totally underwhelming, the character was just reduced to a comic relief with zero development. Didnt even know it was posible to fail so miserably after such a fantastic intro.
As always all bad guys are just bad guys that want to kill people and fight because yes; fights look ok, but lack of real thought behind them, every time a character is about to die they manage to tell you their story just before they lose their ... Jun 11, 2023

Toda ... |
