A very good and light anime. while the art-style isn't the best to most of people, it combines perfectly with the premisse's non-sense . All the characters are likable and have their own importance in the plot...also how can you don't like these cute dragons(i mean, you need to be a total emontioless to don't like'em). All of them have their own personality that match with their pilots,while they only developed better hisone and yoshino, they did this very well and even redeeming yoshino's edgy attitude about their dragon that contrasting with the others. The whole plot change during the second half, turning the pilots ... into somewhat of guides of a gigantic dragon god who need to be put to sleep by some sort of priestress,who died inside the beast when it falls in sleep, and explaining why old pilots are rejected by dragons and even giving a good end to hisone and masotan, that doesen't mean to separate them, simply end the story very well and don't break the anime's mood. I recomend this series if you just want to have a good time watching something.

Here we is, the end of adventure tri, am i disappointed? not much, i have break with digimon from 2016 to 2017 and appmon saved my hopes with the franchise's future, but i already expecting the series won't be this good, since i have watched the first two ovas before the break...then i became disappointed as i thought, since i have watched the first two ovas before this break
you know, i was really hyped for this ova, really. I remember seeing the trailers and really freaking out with it a thinking "OW THIS REALLY DON'T LOOK LIKE TOEI" and i need to say, i really ... liked "saikai", looks like they really trying to update digimon adventure...but them i realize...it was just a fanservice.
Every fucking digimon fanboy whant to see omegamon and alphamon fighting just to see who is the strongest royal knight, and bringing it to the most overrated series was the icing on the cake.
And, i wasn't thinking the art style was weird, really i liked THE HUMANS, but the digimon looked more polygonal than the 3D models used in the champion evolution(the only good one was angemon and kabuterimon), the animation out of battle was pretty cool...but in battle looks like some hiccups: moviment,frame pause(hiccup),moviment, frame pause (hiccup)
ok was that the other digimon have the mega forms...but THEY GET FROM NOWHERE THIS FORMS. in the first season they only envolved because of that crests (that was the most stupid thing to do but it's worked in a children's weekly anime), in 02 they only envolved to ultimate do qinglongmon's digicore AND NOW THEY SIMPLY ENVOLVED TO THEM BECAUSE OF WHAT? seriously, is this some new trend in toei to breaking it's own concepts(yeah dragon ball super, i was talking about YOU). And the story ended in a cliff hanger... if this ending in a series created only to get money through nostalgia( like the whole ova wasn't this, right ? and yes was talking about DB super again) i won't be surprised.
I only gave so much scores because i was waiting to see how it ends, it's allways so hyped and getting (edgier) darker and darker but , in the end DON'T COME TO NOTHING.

soo this is it...the final episode of appmon...for all the series i became very impressed and i love every single thing they did:the cgi,the characters,the semi reboot...

first of all, from july of 2016 i just begin to hate digimon,after 20 years consuming everything they did, but allways felling something like “this is fine but it’s not what i expected for a cybernetic life form story”, and for all this big mess this franchise became. But them, one month ago i simply whant to go back after see some applimon scenes and the openings(koji wada can rest in piece if all the songs have this quality).

i ... just yelled at myself “FINALY DIGIMON IS TRULLY DIGIMON”, i mean isn’t so hard to make an actually digital world not an magic alternitve world with some creatures, they are trully based on digital things...THEY ARE APPS, FOR GOD SAKE.

they recreate all a new system of categories(not as only data,vacine,and virus), and even new levels and we can trully see the difference between the levels only for the size of each one(standard appmon are small and cute, while god appmon have the size of skycreepers). I know savers tried to make it but sometimes this became ridiculous(like tailmon and meikoomon being the same level as greymon but having the size of a child), this make a refferece of “the more powerfull the app is,higher will be ”.

And for the first time the fusions are something good (not something random like jureymon+megadramon=deathmon) but nothing so idiot like jogress of 02 or the digixros (they are just pieces of each other together e-e and pls don't talk of shakkoumon) , i mean they have a real grace in their fusions(EX: gatchmon(google)+navimon(an gps app)=dogatchmon(google maps).

the digimons,like xros wars did too, are real characters in there not for only being the fighting source, they are all very charismatic and it’s impossible to hate one of them...specially offmon(you need to have no soul to do that e-e).

it’s not perfect of course, sometimes they just put some situations to make the plot going but, for all what i have see, i can say for sure this is my favorite digimon series ever, and if you read all of this, i need to thank you because i love digimon so much but i see my favorite franchise drowning on the mud , and it’s very sad but this series,even if don’t have anything to do with the main series, simply gave me hope that digimon can be good. Again thanks appmon for remaking me love digimon
