WELCOME TO ACE AIZAWA'S PROFILE
• Fiction has no inherent value. It only gains value when someone assigns value to it.
• It’s impossible to judge fiction with 100% objectivity, but judging it purely subjectively is just sentiment.
• To assess narrative quality in a way that’s as objective as possible, you need to consider the following criteria: innovation, coherence, complexity, originality, intellectual depth, and explorative.
• A favorite doesn’t always mean it’s the best, and the best doesn’t always become a favorite. The quality of a work isn’t determined by taste alone.
• The lowest form of evaluating a work is relying entirely on "personal preference."
• The most biased types of evaluation are, first, numerical ratings, and second, people who simply say "good" or "bad" without being able to explain why.
• Everyone is entitled to their own standards for evaluation. But if you share them publicly, others have the right to critique the standards you use.
• Giving a low rating doesn’t mean you’re insulting anyone. Only cosplayers and their "White Knights" confuse the two.

I prefer to convey overall values that avoid bias, using the knowledge I have, on my social media accounts. The scores I give on MyAnimeList are highly biased, and here’s roughly what they mean:
10 - I just want to praise it
9 - I recommend it
8 - Good in some aspects
7 - Mid but enjoyable
6 - Just enjoyable
5 - I have questions for the Fans
4 - I have questions for the Editor
3 - I have questions for the Publisher
2 - Trash!
