Both of these anime involve the main characters benefiting from games, however if you were watching Accel World and were getting tired of Haru being considered a great gamer, then try out this little gem. Sora and Shiro get thrown into all sorts of games and always show what it means to be a badass gamer. Similar to Haru, they are both outcasts, but they are definitely not losers. Their games are in my opinion, much more satisfying.

These anime's are similar in regards to both of them taking place in online video games. I was a fan of the .Hack games and yet found sword art to be more exciting. The animation is more fluent, and the fights are definitely more intense. There's a more threatening atmosphere then in .Hack, since in .Hack you go into a coma if defeated by Tri Edge where as in Sword Art Online you die if you defeated by anything. The show becomes a little obnoxious after episode 15 or so, but I'm not an elf fairy kind of guy so you might think differently. ^_^

It's got all the Breasts, Guts and Gore Afro Samurai has. That is of coarse if you can get past how revolting certain characters can be... Ok, lets be honest here, there's maybe four or five characters that retain normal human psychological behavior. Everyone in this show is screwed in the head, but at least they make for some beastly fights.

Bleach and Soul Eater are very similar in regards to warrior and weapon developing a relationship through basic human interaction, which strengthens their bonds and in turn makes them more powerful and badass. Though not as overpowered as DragonballZ and Bleach characters, I found myself at the edge of my seat during Soul Eaters fights rather often. I enjoyed the show greatly and found many similarities to Bleach hence the recommendation.

If you enjoy the action in Naruto then I believe this anime is a good way to vent out between episodes. It's basically the same thing only the main character couldn't care less about the world around him ( unlike Naruto ) and instead of a 9 tailed fox, he has a scroll with all of shinobi knowledge on it. Great anime, with an unfortunate, yet profound ending.
