I was a fan of bleach coming into the TYBW arc, but honestly, the show is pretty terrible. The bad guys feel insurmountably strong, like what is stopping them from destroying soul society in one shot other than needing to go back conveniently cause of a time limit. You also don't get to see their power, like when Zaraki gets put on deaths door against the bad guy boss or when the arancar trio girls get their bottoms kicked by the nazi-wannabe officer. original Kenpachi who died inside soul society to Zaraki effectively doing training?!? Why can't she be saved? And I'm talking about how the head captain of the 13 squads who fell for a clone, used up all his power, then died to the real bad guy boss. You don't feel like a big twist happened, more like you got cheated out of an epic battle when this happened. Frustrating to watch. Then the boring. Countless times the good guy or bad guy thinks they killed the bad guy or good guy but then they get surprised when they are not dead, but not only that, it seems they are stronger than ever. I'm sad to say, it's predictible, drawn out, corny, and frankly boring. Even the fight scenes are pretty lackluster. So much talking and shit talking, instead of finishing the job. Not a lot of cool animation or moves. Redeeming qualities are the art, cast, music, and nostalgia. Sadly, this anime isn't for me anymore.
