I didn't have any expectation for the show as it is an isekai anime but it was surprisingly good and exceeded my expectatons. Art is good, characters have more depth and layers to them and plot is decent overall.
Another positive aspect about the show is its animation which is fluent and well choreographed.
But its genre and tone are the biggest down sides of the show. It wants to be a mature show but it also wants to employ the most generic tropes of isekai to itself which ultimately makes the show suffer and devoids it any chance of improvement.

The show had potential but the way in which characters played out ruined the show for me.
The story with its gothic touch certainly has unique flair to it. The story is consistent as well with everything carefully thought out as well. Art is another good thing about the show. Vibrant character designs with greyish background gets you interested from the beginning. But it is characters where the author dropped the balls. They are so mediocre that rather than feeling connected with them, you will be annoyed by them especially the main doll character. In certain scenes chaacterrs are made to act stupid just to carry out ...

Solo Leveling, a manhwa with some good but mostly bad. There will be no spoilers in this review.
Good - Art. As most other manhwa, the art is good. The colors used, the world design, all of them were way better than most manga out there. Character Design - The monster designs in this manhwa are also good but nothing to special. Although, the monsters themselves were pretty generic. Apart from monsters, the human characters although have very generic manhwa design but they are pleasant to see. Bad - Story - Now this is where things get messy.
