STORY 6/10
The story is simple, but nice. It is nothing spectacular, almost everything is pretty much previsible (but there are some nice plot twists). Its simplicity, however, makes it enjoyable to read. Everything that happens in the story is epic and cute(?). Despite story being simple, it is well structured. All the characters shown in the manga have some relevance, and the story has a clear beginning and ending. The downside is that the story is not very creative... But we must considerate that it is a story for children.
ART 9/10
The artstyle is beautiful, clean and it fits well with the manga. However, I
...
think that the pannels could be bigger. The mangaka tried to put a lot of information in one page, adding lots of small panels.. I prefer mangas with bigger panels, making the page "cleaner".
CHARACTER 7/10
The story is manichaeist. There are the good characters and the evil characters. Link is your traditional brave hero and Ganondorf is a traditional villain. A good aspect o the manga is that all characters have some relevance. The characters which appeared in the beginning will appear again throughout the story.
ENJOYMENT 7/10
It is a pleasant and simple reading. It does not make you laugh or cry, and it is not that exciting, but it has a few plot twists and its simplicity makes it somehow enjoyable.
OVERALL 7/10
A beautiful fantasy manga, but nothing excepctional.

This review contains spoilers. I think it would be impossible to review this anime without talking about the final episodes. So here it goes!
STORY 7/10
The first episodes really impressed me in a positive way. Nobody understood very well why Subaru went to a fantasy world, but his struggle to help Emilia, the first times he dies and lives again, the mystery envolving the ones who are trying to kill him in the Roswaal Mansion and the devolpment of his relationship with Rem are interesting. However, as the anime continues, many questions are not answered and it becomes repetitive. Why does Subaru loves Emilia so much,
...
while Rem is always trying to help him and she really does love him? The relationship between them is much more deep than Subaru's relationship with Satella. What is the importance of Roswaal in the plot? He looks like a mysteryous and intriguing character in the beginning of the anime, but he does nothing important. Why did Subaru traveled to a fantasy world? Why does he have the ability to respawn and he cannot talk about it? Why does he smell like the witch?
Perhaps it will be explained in another season, but until now it does not make sense. The anime makes you curious, but it does not try to answer our questions.. I thought that the answers would come along the final episodes, but the anime focused more in Subaru trying to save Emilia and Rem a thousand times, making it repetitive and less enjoyable. Maybe if the plot evolved more, added more mystery and answered the questions we have and it focused less in Subaru failing and failing again it would be more fun to watch. You don't even feel sad when Rem dies again and again or when Subaru fails again, because you know he will return to the past and try succeed eventually.
ART 7/10
The art and the design are good, the landscape and the sceneries are beautiful, but I think the artstyle is somehow mainstream.. It has nothing special. But I like Rem and Ram character designs particularly.
SOUND 8/10
Songs are nice, but nothing remarkable.
CHARACTER 6/10
Subaru is annoying sometimes. After failing several times, he begins to get angry with the people around him, does not obey orders (when he disobeys Emilia because he thinks that only he can save her), screams for any reason and loves Emilia for no reason despite Rem being much more attentive with him.
Rem and Ram have a good character design, their past and their personalities are interesting.
Emilia is that typical perfect anime girl, but she does not have anything in special that makes her stand out. She did almost nothing to make Subaru fall in love with her.
Roswaal seemed like an interesting and mysteryous character, but he does almost nothing important in the series and we know almost nothing about him.
ENJOYMENT 8/10
As I've said before, the first episodes were really fun to watch. Subaru's ability to live again made the plot very enjoyable, but after he fails several times along the series, it becomes boring and repetitive. Also, the questions we have about the anime, which made me thrilled in the beginning, are not answered, and as the episodes focuses more in Subaru trying to save her friends over and over again, in her friends dying and gore stuff, it does not makes you as interested as you were before.

Re:Zero had a lot of potential, but I think it got lost throughout the anime.

STORY 8/10
Tokyo Ghoul has an interesting story. The story takes place in a world where exist creatures called Ghouls, who cannot whitstand food eaten by humans (except coffee), needing to eat humans to survive. Thus, there is a human organization to fight these ghouls, the CCG (Comission of Counter Ghoul), initiating a true battle between races. In this context comes Ken Kaneki, a young university student which suffers an accident and receives transplanted organs from a ghoul, becoming a human-ghoul hybrid, the "one-eyed ghoul". Therefore, Kaneki is in the middle of two worlds, he doesn't feel human anymore and he struggles to fit in the
...
ghoul's community. His effort to reconcile his new life and his old life and prevent as much as possible the conflicts between the two races is admirable and interesting. We end up sympathizing with both the CCG and the ghouls, they all have reason in their own ways and a dark side. Although the story has interesting conflicts and questions which side is correct (Humans or ghouls) and the difficulties suffered by Kaneki, I feel that the second part of the manga becomes kind of boring, focusing on fights between CCG, ghouls and anteiku, and cares less about the relationship between characters or creating new different plots. When it focused more in action scenes, I lost a bit of the initial interest I had. I need to complain about the ending too... Spoilers: it does not end. It has a sequel.. So the last volume is not actually the last volume, and it does not have a real conclusion, which made me a little disappointed.
ART 8/10
Okay, I know art is good and original, specially the manga cover art. I like it, because it is different, but it feels too "scribbled". It is not clean, and when I read fast, sometimes I do not understand what is happening and I have to go back and read again. The anime does not have this problem.
CHARACTER 8/10
At first, the mange seemed to care a lot about the character's feelings and their relationship, which I really enjoyed, but as the story went on, it focused more in action scenes and confllicts and a lot of secondary characters started to appear, which made me confused about who they were. However, Kaneki growing as a character was something really interesting to see, as well as his relationship with his old and new friends. Also, the relationship of humans and ghouls, CCG members and ghouls are all great points of the manga.
ENJOYMENT 7/10
As I've said, I really enjoyed the beginning of the manga. The change in Kaneki's life and the difficulties he had faced. However, after a while the story focused much more in conflicts, battles and action scenes, and not so much about the relationship between characters. The ending also did not have a real conclusion, so it also disappointed me.

STORY: 8/10
Death Parade is an anime about.. well, death! However, this does not mean that the anime is only about philosophize about our existence and crying watching characters dying (although these will also happen during the series). The anime is about games which will make humans pass through moments of pressure and expose who they really are. Its story is different from any other anime I have watched before, and every episode has its own plot.
CHARACTERS 9/10
This anime deeply explores each characters' personality, behavior and past. It focus on telling about their past, which will usually surprise the watcher (in a good way!).
ART
...
8/10
It's good, but not astonishing.
SOUND 9/10
Oh, the opening! Everyone loves its opening track. It deserves a 9 because of it.
ENJOYMENT 7/10
The mystery envolving the characters' pasts and the thrill of the game is what makes you start watching the anime, and later on, the anime focus on people's feeling and life's meaning. It's nice, but there is nothing amazing happening in the final parts of the anime, and it becomes less thrilling and more "thinking". Its nice, but I preferred the beginning of the series compared to the ending.
OVERALL 8/10
Good anime, creative plots and deep characters, but it's not that complex and that satisfying.
