Kitchen Princess and Agreement of the Glass Shoes are a similar tale of a girl meeting her prince when she was younger, and now having to find that person later in life with only a trinket to go by...and being sure as to which person it happens to be.

The triangle relationship in Anta Nante Okotowari reminded me so much of Hana Yori Dango. Kaoru and Yui didn't get off to the right foot, and Kaoru would rather tease Yui rather than admit that he's smitten. Meanwhile, Mika appears whenever the moment is right. Just like Tsukasa, Makino, and Rui.

Both series contain that best friend type character that really hates the main lead, but sticks around because of love infatuation. Also, the main female must tame the male lead. Different plot, but very similar feel.

In both series, the main character feels that her personal self isn't good enough for school, so spends lots of time on her appearance to make herself feel better and more popular. While at home, they are far from the persona they project at school. The male leads find out their real identity, and well...it goes from there.

Kapon (>_<)!
add

The first thing I noticed when I was starting to read Kapon was how similar it was to Special A. It starts out about a girl who tries her hardest to be number one in the school, but is forever cast aside as number two by her rival. The strength and determination from the two female leads, and the overall attitude from the two male leads are very similar. The similarities end after that, but both are enjoyable reads.

While the love relationship between the two main couples are different, the overall theme is the same. Both series are filled with hilarious situations that just leave you wanting more.

I was actually quite shocked when I realized these two were not done by the same mangaka. When I was reading Senpai no Kanojo it reminded me of the trouble Nana went through with her love for a boy who was in love with another. Though the overall story is different (with many similarities), the art and character feel are very alike.

While the story isn't quite identical, HBW struck me as very similar to HYD. A poor female must overcome many obstacles, including the wealthy vs. poor class separation. They also both contain very strong, independent women that are determined to be their own person.

The 4th short story in Suki, Tokoro ni Yori Arashi is very similar to the plot of Lovely Complex. The tallest girl in the class must deal with someone who once was the smallest person in the class, and while it's not as developed (it is a one shot) it is still sweet to see the developing relationship despite the height obstacle.

While the storylines are different for these two mangas (one is about a girl dragged into a book, the other a girl attempting to be an official) the feel of them are very simiar. You have the female lead attempting to lead her people, experiancing trials along the way. Both are surrounded by guys that only want to protect her, and an emperor that is deeply in love. The art on both is splendid as well. If you love one, you will adore the other.

It feels very identical to me, not only is the art similar, but the story and occurances are as well. For example, both female leads don't know how to find their own bed after the lights have gone out ^^; Very charming if you have read one to read the other, even though it feels a bit repetative.
