In both shows, the relationship between the main couple is quite simple but serious in a sense that each individual has his/her own personal issues that they had to resolve first before they became true to their feelings for each other. In both anime, you will surely watch all the episodes because the most awaited part (in every romance anime) happens on the last episode.

...then you might like Tamako Love Story add

Their art style is very similar and the level of romance are almost the same. Even the personality and background of the female protagonists are quite similar. Chitanda is from a noble famous family while Tamako is also the daughter of a famous family-run mochi shop. Both have very cheerful, sweet and friendly personalities. The male protagonists are also both secretly in love of the female protagonists. Also, in both anime, there is a cliffhanger in the end about the romance between the main characters that would surely make you scream for more.

I felt a similar vibe on both shows. Both have very light stories - not too serious, not too complicated, not too romantic. Some may find these shows boring but I must say that they are both realistic in depicting real life high school romance.

Aside from being under the same genre - action, supernatural and shounen; the two have other notable similarities: 1.) The male and female protagonists on both shows were destined to be husband and wife, also as being agreed upon by their family/superiors; which later on turned into real romance between them. 2.) The male protagonists have the same dream of becoming the strongest - for Yoh to be the Shaman King and for Rokuro to be the strongest exorcist like Abe no Seimei. 3.) As for the female protagonists, Anna and Benio - both are very powerful and very supportive of their partners which makes them very reliable to Yoh and Rokuro during training and actual fights. 4.) The main antagonists are both closely related to the protagonists - Hao being the twin brother of Yoh who have a liking to his partner Anna, and Yuuto being the childhood friend of Rokuro and brother of Benio. 5.) Both are using almost the same terminologies - Shaman King's shamans, spirits, spells and oversoul is somewhat similar to Sousei no Onmyouji's exorcists, shikigamis, talismans and enchanted gear.
