The love, hate and depression that this manga conveys is incredible. It's a fascinating manga, it keeps you in a limbo of tenderness and constant worry. There are horrible people in the world, and this manga makes that very clear. But just as there are evil people, there are also wonderful people, and in many cases, life is so unfair that those who do good end up suffering more than the evil ones. Laws and justice are paradoxically unjust and do not take the victim into account in their application. What is the point of sending the victim to the abode of the perpetrator? None,
...
except to comply with the "law", a law that ends up hurting more than it helps. This work is a clear demonstration of that.
On the other hand, I have to say that I expected more suffering from this marvellous manga. That's why I say in the previous words, that it keeps you in a limbo of happiness and worry. You feel how at any moment, the little happiness that some pages give you, can go to waste at any moment. You feel how the life of a girl who wants a normal life, can end in tragedy at any moment, reading this work does not amuse, it does not entertain, but it is stressful. But that stress is addictive, although a short work in length, chapter after chapter draws you in more and more. You want to know what will happen in the next chapter, you want to make sure that the protagonist will not suffer again, and for that you have to keep reading. It's a hard read, but you keep going. And to be completely honest, it's worth it. Reading such a beautiful story is completely worth the stress. At the end, it leaves a very beautiful message, which by the way I won't reveal, as doing so might end up taking away the surprise of reading it for the first time by yourself.
Now going to the technical part, it has a very good drawing style, faces and facial expressions that if I have to say, transmit more content than the words themselves. Expressions of pain, terror, sadness, happiness, all of them transmit much more emotions than words. So I recommend reading the manga calmly, without rushing, paying attention to each panel, to each facial expression, to each body expression. If you do so, you will have a much more complete experience than just reading the words that the mangaka offers in his dialogue boxes.
In short, I can only tell you one thing: Read it. Nothing else. It's a manga that I gave a 9, and although my way of rating manga is not strict, I assure you that it doesn't disappoint. Sure, if you're looking for a romance drama or a CGDCT type comedy, this is not for you, but if you like a dark, short manga that conveys a lot of emotions both good and bad, this is definitely for you.

Bitter Virgin is a very difficult manga to review. I liked this manga a lot, but I didn't enjoy it at all, it was very stressful to read, especially because of personal experiences. It has a very interesting premise and touches on very sensitive topics such as sexual abuse, toxicity, jealousy, unwanted pregnancies, etc. All very real things. Although there are things that in the manga seem to be very simple to solve, when in reality they are extremely complicated, the manga touches on these issues in a more mature way than expected. It shows the suffering of abuse, rather than minimising it, and how
...
this trauma can leave after-effects that are difficult to overcome in the future. Even so, 32 chapters seems to me not enough to deal with such a complicated subject, but the mangaka did a good job.
From the technical aspect, I quite liked the drawing style, the characters were easily recognisable, so unlike other manga you don't get dizzy and you can easily understand who is saying what. The past history of the characters was weak, except for Aikawa's, who, being the main character and the one the whole manga is based on, has a developed past history, but not much. And I partly appreciate it, it was very hard to watch the panel drawings where the mother beats her and doesn't believe her that her partner abused her daughter, or the scenes where the stepfather leaves her bleeding. It was very hard for me, so I don't know to what extent it's a bad thing that it doesn't have more development than is basic and indispensable to the story.
Regarding the characters, I liked that each one has a human personality, personalities that are feasible to find in real life. For my part I felt very identified with Daisuke, his actions throughout the story were very similar to me when I met people with similar traits to Aikawa, that's a big plus, it's a totally realistic manga and doesn't sugarcoat the situation. I highly recommend this manga. It touches on very sensitive and deep issues from a relatively mature point of view, but it's definitely not suitable for people with traumas. I would never recommend this manga to someone who has been abused, because it is very painful. I, who didn't suffer, had a hard time reading it, I don't want to imagine someone who has suffered these situations, it could reopen wounds in their life.
Taking into consideration everything I mentioned in writing in the previous paragraphs, I give this work a 9/10.

Ok, I'll be honest, I started watching this anime thinking it was a generic wizarding adventure isekai. But no, I was wrong. It's about 2 classmates who, to kill time, start playing an otome game (girl's game), as part of the main character's practice. But technically speaking this show is not an isekai. The protagonists can be heard within the game, whose characters treat them as gods. Revealing more of the plot could be considered spoilers and I don't want to do any. The story is quite funny. Romance mainly happens within the game, in real life find out for yourself by watching the anime.
...
At episode 5, when I'm writing this, a strange event happened, I really recommend you to start the anime.
The characters well, here it fails a bit. Personally, I really like Lieselotte's personality, she is a bit out of the typical bully princess cliché. But I think that the protagonists Kobayashi, Endou and Siegwald should have a better development. The story is basically based on Siegwald saying "oh, how cute is Lieselotte". But it doesn't have much of a development of its own at the time I'm writing this. And we know little about Kobayashi and Endou's past, about how they met. Obviously this can change, for example, in episode 5 a new character was slightly introduced who has been present since previous episodes without saying who he is. But of course, the anime is not even halfway through, I reserve the right to change my opinion if this is reversed in future episodes
The art is nothing special to write about, it fits well with the era, but it's not great art and neither is the soundtrack. Average and I have nothing to comment
To finish, I repeat, I reserve the right to change my opinion. While this anime is enjoyable so far, it's just killing time and you won't have a great story. I won't tell you it's a waste of time, but I can't recommend it either. It's not boring, not for me, but it's not something I particularly like either. Yes, I get excited watching the chapters, even as a man when I watch anime I look like a fangirl, but even so it is not something that I would say "you have to watch"

Beautiful story, beautiful art, beautiful characters, I don't know how to describe it, but I'll do my best. A story too cloying and sweet. A couple of students, with no previous experience, are put to live together. What will you get? A plot full of sweet romance of the kind that breeds diabetes. And Ecchi. Although something good that can be said about this story is that the ecchi found here is not as abusive as in other manga. Unlike other romcom manga where you will see boobs all the time, Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman maintains a certain balance that, let's face it, gives a
...
certain relief. At least personally I don't like that the whole story is based on "oops, I tripped and touched my friend's breasts". That's why I think this manga is good. Because it has its ecchi parts, but it's not even close to how I just exemplified it. It is also appreciated that the drama that can be found in this story is less than in other similar romcoms. While in other manga every 2 chapters there are fights between the protagonists that take another 20 chapters to resolve, it is very satisfying to see that here these little dramas have a quick resolution.
On the other hand, I love the drawing, the way Akari is drawn, with many details, makes her beautiful. But also Shiori and Jiro have excellent drawings. I don't have much more to say here, just that she's a drawing beauty and it makes me want to grab the mangaka and give him a kiss on each cheek as we usually do in my country.
Character development does leave a bit to be desired, but it's not bad. I honestly don't know how to explain, and unfortunately no language I know has a word for what I want to convey. Well, I like the development of the characters, a lot, but for some reason that I still don't understand, I don't feel fulfilled writing this. It's like a part of me doesn't agree with what I'm writing. And I think my main problem here is with Hamano. Hamano has a lot of potential, but I honestly think he's wasting it.
In general, I highly recommend this manga, but only for those who like to have diabetes and see cute things all the time. If you come looking for a great drama, this manga is not for you.

Summertime Render, quite a difficult anime to review. This masterpiece made me go through ups and downs. The action exists from the first chapter, something that quickly hooked me. I would say that this anime is so well done that something negative like being confused makes it a good thing. Although perhaps the correct word is not "confused", but "stunned". The way the anime starts, and the development of the first 3 episodes, at least personally, left me stunned and shocked, it was hard to take in what was happening.
Honestly one of the most shocking stories I've seen in anime recently. A story full of
...
plot twists that leave you speechless. Lots of suspense and action. And with a slight romance subplot to ease the tension, Summertime Render achieves what I personally look for in anime: Entertainment and originality. And I must say that this anime is something quite different from what I saw in other animes, honestly I can't think of any other series with a similar plot.
Just beautiful. Really more than those two words to describe it. The animation is nothing to write home about, there are several animes with good art and animation, but there aren't many who enjoy that status either, and Summertime is one of them. In this particular anime, the character design is very important to the plot, and they did an excellent job. Other than the characters, there's no CGI, which I honestly really appreciate, and the ALL-IMPORTANT effects are well done, which is satisfying to watch.
The first OP and the first ED are in my honest opinion better than the second. The soundtrack during the episodes is not something from another world. Not much to say about it
Characters, ufff.... Their character development is magnificent. Almost all the characters, even the secondary ones, have a lot of stories to tell. Sooner or later, you will end up knowing the story of the vast majority of characters. But I have to say that the only major character left underdeveloped is Nezu. He has story, but not as developed as he would like. Other than that, there really aren't any complaints, each character has a wonderful background.
This anime is a work that you will enjoy yes or yes. On top of that, something that I couldn't say if it's something good or bad, is that the episodes end at the best possible moment and abruptly, so it leaves too much intrigue about what will happen.
Honestly 10/10

Amagami SS is a romance anime which I quite enjoyed, it's separate stories for each of the girls. There are 7 arcs in total, each one independent of the other. These arcs last 4 episodes each (except for one arc that only has 1 episode), so by duration, it is obvious that they will not have the development that I would like.
- Story (8/10): In this anime there are 7 independent stories, the truth is that they are quite good. The only thing that all the arcs have in common is the beginning, because they all start at the point where Junichi, our protagonist, was
...
left standing on a date for Christmas, so he is afraid of falling in love again. Each arc has different situations, individualized for each of the girls, this is quite good, because it makes all the spectators happy, it does not matter which girl you like, they will all have their beautiful ending. There is no temporal continuity, so no matter what order you watch, it will be fine.
If you want to see the anime in another order than the one broadcast, here are the episodes corresponding to each arc:
(1 - 4) Haruka Morishima
(5 - 8) Kaoru Tanamachi
(9 - 12) Sae Nakata
(13 - 16) Ai Nanasaki
(17 - 20) Rihoko Sakurai
(21 - 24) Tsukasa Ayatsuji
(25) Risa Kamizaki (It's better to leave this arc for the end)
Additional comment: I would give the story a 10/10, but I lowered it 2 points for Rihoko and Risa's arc, which in my opinion, were very disappointing. All arcs culminate in a kiss and an official declaration. Instead, Rihoko's arc only had an open ending, where there was neither, she simply ends the arc with the line "I hope my feelings reach him one day". And regarding Risa's arc, it wasn't bad, but the duration of 1 episode is extremely short, there should be better character development honestly
- Art (9/10): The art isn't bad at all, in fact, considering that this anime was released in 2010, it can be said with certainty that it has good animation. The characters are well drawn and the animation is fluid. I have not noticed any situation where the characters and the background are mixed (Unlike other anime of this time), so I affirm that the animation is quite clear. Even so, don't think about comparing this with a current animation, because obviously the quality of the animation of this anime will be much lower, keep in mind that 12 years have passed.
- Sound (8/10): The OP's are good, but they're not wonderful either, it's what you'd expect from a romance anime, nothing to write home about. Still they are quite addictive to say the least. The ED's did leave something to be desired. In the anime there are 7 ED's, one for each arc and sung by the seiyuu (voice actress) of each girl. On the other hand, the soundtrack is good, the background music matches very well with what is happening in the anime.
- Characters (10/10): Honestly the characters were the best of all the anime. 7 girls with an arc each. There are also supporting characters such as Miya, the sister of our protagonist or Hibiki, Haruka's friend. Each girl has her own personality and very developed. While I did complain about Risa's character development, I have to say that in just one episode, she manages to make it feel like you knew her from the beginning.
- Enjoyment (9/10): You are going to enjoy it very, very much, especially if you like the school romance genre. All 25 episodes of this anime and its OVAs/Specials are totally worth watching. I only lowered it 1 point, because honestly Sae's voice in the 3rd arc is very high-pitched and became quite annoying.
- Overall (9/10): I don't regret watching this anime at all, it was just beautiful to meet each girl, her personality in public, private and her insecurities, I'm totally in love with this anime!

A manga that talks about gender identity is rare, and when it happens it usually also introduces comedy so this covers and ridicules the theme. It's even rarer the fact that it talks about gender identity in children and young people in a serious and mature way, so in my opinion, Hourou Musuko is very precious. This manga is very good at conveying an important and serious message while being bearable to read, it is also a good reflection of Japanese culture in terms of gender.
- Story (9/10): It has the right content of each thing, drama, romance, comedy, etc. Among those types of content,
...
romance and drama are highly relevant. It generates tension and uncertainty of what may happen as the plot progresses. The story arcs are well done. What made her not give a 10 to this category didn’t score a 10 because throughout the chapters there are temporary jumps that can cause confusion, but if you are attentive it is not a bigger problem.
- Art (9/10): The art is very good, but not excellent. Haircuts and makeup are well defined and drawn, that's great since they influence the plot quite a lot. However in some chapters it can be difficult to tell the characters apart because of the angle in which they are drawn, this happens just in a few chapters, so it's not a big issue, apart from that, the art is great.
- Characters (10/10): The characters are exceptionally developed, with marked personalities and ideas, not necesarily settled. The characters evolve throughout history, both physically, as well as personality-wise. This is given a lot of importance in the manga, letting a lot of development to take place. Even within the same event we are shown the differnt perspectives of the different characters, in this way the reader can understand the reason and motivation of an action. Another thing that differentiates Hourou Musuko's characters from other works is realism, their ways of acting in different situations are real, and credible.
- Enjoyment (9.5 / 10): Despite its flaws (which are very few) one can highly enojy this series. You can see this in the sensations that one can feel when reading this manga, which are varied and change from person to person. In my case, this work came to transmit feelings such as sadness, anger and happiness, it can make another person feel different things, and that is something I like about these works. It depends on who reads it and what personal experiences that person has, for example the sensations and feelings will be very different if they read it alone than reading it with someone. I really value this when recommending a manga. As I mentioned in the character section, this manga contains a lot of realism in the actions and things that happen in the plot, this gives depth to the feelings that I was talking about before. There is only one bad thing: The ending is open. The fact that I don't like these types of endings makes me unable to put a 10 in this category, but a 9 seems too small to me since i really enjoyed it, so I decided to put a 9.5.
- Overall (9/10): The total average of all categories is 9.3, but i'll round it up to a 9. I think it is a very good story to read, it is very deep and leaves a great message. It may not be to the liking of some, but others may relate to the characters or situations. I recommend you not to miss the opportunity to read it if you can.
