The reasoning behind this recommendation is as follows The setting takes place in a post apocalyptic world that has regressed significantly in living standards yet concepts like advanced sci fi type technology seem to exist, powers and genetic engineering seem to exist as well. Similar to what we seen in Shinsekai Yori, heavenly delusion also has a safety net village free of danger with strict rules, constant surveillance and manipulative education. The approach to exploring teenage sexuality and naturalistic dialogue is also very similar, there is limited fanservice type sexualization and the concepts explored seem to be more focused on adding exposition to the setting than for being lewd for the sake of it. The same oppressing atmosphere and a lurking sense of danger Shinsekai Yori is known for is present in Heavenly Delusion, with scenes that generate tension and make the audience hold their breath hoping for a good outcome. Neither series shy away from gruesome scenes and realistic portrayal of violence.

If you enjoyed the well thought out story that spanned across a several year timeline and was executed in a way with little to no major plotholes in Zetsuen no Tempest, then give Sakurada Reset a try.

Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi

Simple minded shonen protagonist, hot girls and lots of ecchi scenes, characters follow the rule of cool and the power mechanics are given in surprise info dumps. The difference would be that Idaten is essentially a parody of shonen anime, but they are still very similar thematically.

Yoru no Kuni

Some sort of dark night creature helping out young girls in a mystical themed dream world, the color pallets are more vibrant in Yoru no Kuni but the stylistic choices are overall very similar and both series have great music.

Shiroi Suna no Aquatope

Supernatural ocean themed anime where the main characters are good friends and there is some underlying romantic tension, some supernatural elements that aren't given huge focus but add an interesting background to the series.

Cute female cast full of saturated art styles and very detailed designs, the girls all work together in a dream world to overcome their inner struggles and problems, there is a larger underlying plot than noticeable at first.

The executioners are Judge Dredd style law enforcement similar to the MWPSB in Psycho Pass, the cyber punk theme in general along with the fight choreography present heavily feel similar to Psychopass as well.
