I happen to stumble upon this manga and let me just say, I'm glad I did. The story's premise is about Akebi, as she opens a new chapter in her life as a middle school student.
Since she was young, Akebi has always wanted to wear a sailor uniform, but the problem is, the school she was gonna attend has since replaced the old sailor uniform with a blazer uniform. However due to her charisma, and the fact that her mother made that uniform on her own, the principal gave her special consideration and let her wear her the sailor uniform, hence the title

of the manga.
Story: 8/10
As a slice of life anime, you can't really expect anything to happen out of the ordinary, what it has to offer to you is the daily life of Akebi on her journey to become popular and make lots of new friends, this is the goal of MC. I gave it an 8 because I find it very fun to read, the encounters of the characters are wholesome and very cute <3. It's neither challenging nor confusing to read and you can skim through the panels without reading and you'll probably still understand what's happening.
Art: 10/10
The backgrounds are simple yet beautiful, I like the hand-drawn style it has. I also really love the character design, the style is cute yet elegant. Having a distinct style of drawing is important because that is what you will be known for, but no matter the style, the fundamentals/anatomy should always be considered, otherwise it would look creepy or uncanny. I gave it a 10 simply because the art was beautiful, the character design is an actual representation of how teens should look in real life. The outfits are really nice as well.
Character: 7/10
I gave it a 7 because I haven't read a lot of chapters yet, but from what I've seen there is a lot of room for character development, it's only been a week of school for them anyway, there will be more encounters with the other characters. For now, I'll just review them based on how I feel about them.
Akebi is the fun and outgoing type, she's always ready to try new things in life. From the start, her goal was to establish herself as a friendly and approachable person, so far she has made some friends. While she is the one to break the ice, she is still conscious about the things she ought to do, but sometimes she gets carried away and gets embarrassed, the other characters are charmed and finds her funny because of this. Other characters are pretty generic shy/friendly type, I have to read more in order to find out.
Enjoyment: 9/10
I am really digging it so far, especially the art. I feel like it's not at Yuru Camp, K-On, etc., level but I find its simplicity charming and entertaining. To be fair, I've only read a few chapters so my opinion might change. [honestly speaking, there has been no strong plot or whatsoever. I still like it tho lol]
Overall: I'm happy to give it an 8.5/10.
-There's a plot, but not really (how tf do i explain this) IMO, it will focus more on the character growth aspect rather than the plot itself.
-Beautiful yet subtle art style
-Fun and outgoing MC

Coincidentally, my only review on this profile is a review about Super Cub, which has the same artist as this manga.
And that's pretty much it. What else can I say? Go read it, it won't change your life, it won't be on your top 10 anime list, you might forget about it in a few years. But honestly, it will probably make you smile in the meantime, the world is on fire right now so at least you got to read a cute lil story.

Story: Super Cub is a simple slice of life anime about students and their bikes, but it's not just about that, as the story progresses, the mc improves her slowly builds up her social skills and learns to make friends. Other than that, that's pretty much it, some people might find the story too simple that it's easily forgettable after a few days (not speaking for myself). I mean, it's a slice of life anime, you are looking in the wrong direction if you are expecting any action from it. Besides, I'd take a simple, heartwarming anime such as Super Cub over an anime with
...
a cringy mc with a harem, any day. I don't find Super Cub boring as every episode, the MC develops her character more and learns to open up to other people, these certain aspects are what I'm always looking for in an anime such as this, having watched similar series that have pulled off this type of story (yuru camp, nichijou, etc) I can say that Super Cub lives up to its premise.
Art: Art is nice, I like it when there's a change in vibrance when the MC feels happy. The details of the motorcycle and the CGI were also well done.
Sound: The voice actresses lived up to their character, especially Koguma, when she speaks it feels like she's very hesitant and shy which is very spot on because she feels anxious whenever someone talks to her. Reiko on the other hand was the opposite, she's more of an outgoing person. The OP, ED, and OST are really good, it defines the anime and the characters. I'm not a motorcycle enthusiast, but they say that the sounds coming from the motorcycle is accurate to real life so I guess that's another point. Overall, it's really good, I don't have to adjust the volume from time to time.
Character: They're very realistic, is it a good thing? For this anime, yes, because it's about the MC and improving her socializing skills little by little, and her friend, Reiko, helping her out.
Enjoyment: I am currently enjoying it right now since it's still airing, it's not in my top 5, but it's not like the other anime that I just finished just for the sake of, well, finishing it. To be honest, enjoying Super Cub depends on the viewer, if you like slow, everyday life, friends just hanging out, type of anime, then you'll definitely enjoy this.
