The best way to describe this manga would be that it is a dumpster fire that you can't look away from.

The art itself is good looking and I enjoyed reading through it although some characters and moments are just frustrating and annoying. It's very explicit in the way that it shows sex(there is a ton of it) in general which includes rape and then the killing stuff. All the characters are pretty much cliche archetypes aka the overly smart girl, the asshole etc. The story is atrocious and the characters are terrible yet I found myself enjoying it mainly because of how absurd the story ... was and how truly stupid the characters seem. I say all that to say.... if you are into dumpster fire worthy manga please read this shit.

I did not say shit about the story but basically, it's about people trying to survive on an island full of giant bugs who kill and rape.

This anime will probably never get a 3rd season since it has done so poorly but besides all that its a decent enough series it def isnt as good as the first season and part of that reason is because of the entire nina and chris dynamic which really takes the series from like an 8 to a 6.

If you've watched season one you know how great the ending was i've grown to appreciate it more over the years but it was really good it defintely didn't need a second season in my eyes but they gave it a second season so like most ... fans i was excited but then you see nina and not favaro and it leaves a sour taste in ya mouth personally i didnt care because she was so eccentric and just had a lot of high energy so i liked her the season was good for a whlle but then the king comes in he's basically made a society in which the demons are slaves to the humans and has some crazy ass army with magic powers and shit at first you'd think his only purpose was to be an asshole.. but cool hes a basic character then you have to factor in nina dragon changing ability at first it was whenever she became attracted to a guy she would turn into a dragon fast forward her meeting the king for the first time but the king is disguised and basically helps her out when a bunch of dudes were tryna beat her up or some shit llike that my memory isnt the best bare with me she ends up falling for him not knowing hes the king and because she ends up falling for him shes the only guy she is now attracted to her first love and he is the only person at that point which can turn her into a dragon. I thought the king would use her and the story would go in that direction but it didnt and that was my problem her loving the king him clearly having feelings but repressing them and him being a terrible dictator yet she still loves him. Her completely negating all the shit hes done because shes in love is retarded and it ruins the series in my books. They had previous characters from season one bacchus,jean,zombie girl,kaisar and favaro even back when favaro came back i was hyped but then he didn't really contribute much to the season even though in the moments where he did help nina out they were great but having nina as the main character and having favaro exist being a much better fleshed out character also made the series suffer. I'm just gonna skip to the ending it was good and bad but because it left me kind of frustrated i'll side with the bad more than the good. The fact that jean and Azazel allowed the king to live when they had the chance to kill him is beyond me the fight with the bahamut was a cup of coffee the result of the bahamut with nina ending up becoming mute and is unable to speak while the king has become blind in both eyes... i mean wtf kind of shit is that. The good about the ending was nina meeting amira in the light of the bahamut which was cool but it didnt last long nor was much of anything and then the scene where favaro tells everyone hes leaving this occurs after the fight and nina and the others are having a meal she goes with him and ends up writing out a message on the ground because she cant speak anymore she tells favaro that she met amira in the light of the bahamut and relays a message she told her during that moment for favaro that was really cool but other than that the final episode was dissapointing the entire season has been disspointing and its a shame there was many good moments in this season but towards the ending half of the series it was very wishy washy and ended up falling off a cliff. Its not a bad season but it doesn't live up to how good the first season was so its a dissapointment. It really did not need a second season at all.

Imagine just watching series that doesnt look very typical from an art standpoint it looks quite childish to be honest just from the designs but then you watch it and you are completely invested in everything from the amazing adventure to the characters to the interactions and the music being top notch and you come away from finishing it with no qualms but just hope for it to continue but it ends on such a good note that you'd be completely fine if it never got a second season this is that anime. I find this to be a complete masterpiece i was hesistant to ... watch it because of the art style it seemed too childlike for me but never judge a book by its cover the most cliche of things to say but you should always live by that rule. Everything about the anime is amazing and it gets better as it keeps on going it doesnt lose the lustre it has from the first episode to the last. The characters from riko the main female mc to reg to ozen to nanachi(She is adorable) it just gets better and better and it ends with adding a new person. This anime is unique it brings something new to the table if not that then it reinvents the old and makes it completely fresh if there is one anime this season you need to watch its this i cannot stress it enough. Episode 9 onwards the anime was just a masterpiece i hope it gets greenlit for another season because the journey is too good to leave the viewers hanging i really would be genuinly interested in purchasing this on whatever i can its really that enjoyable of a series. I dont want to only be positive but theres hardly any negatives in the entire 13 episodes and if i could think of one it's probably that riko is a little to eager to do things and sometimes it ends up leaving her in a fucked up position but thats not really even an issue because the way they handle it and tie shit down together.

You better watch this Damn series.

There is one more episode left of Re:creators but at this point the main villian/hero has been defeated in a lackluster...predictable yet beautiful way in the most recent episode and we move on to the finale where idk what could happen but here are my thoughts on this anime.

Story - 7/10
Art- 7/10(not going to mention it)
Sound- 8/10(not going to mention it)
Character- 9/10
Enjoyment - 6/10
Overall- 34/50 = 7.4/10 rounding it down its at a 7... but i'll give it a solid 6.

Re:Creators is basically an anime where characters are created and living in the normal human world along with the creators who've created them who are basically seen as their Gods because they control whatever happens with said character and with that you have conflict etc... the main character sota has a friend who ends up commiting suicide due to the internet bullying her on stealing character designs which she didnt... sota was jealous that she was getting attention from her art in the first place so when she started getting bullied she tried to get a hold of him and due to jealousy which is a very ugly thing he didnt bother to speak to her or nothing and with the place she was in she had absoultely nobody(She was a quiet girl no friends etc) so the one friend she had didnt even give any attention to her in a time when she needed someone and she did what she did the character she was creating in the process was basically the most Overpowered fucking thing you can imagine and it was basically made to be invincible and be somewhat of a vengence thing against the world who had made her commit suicide and the whole basis of the story is around Altair(The OP creation) trying to destroy the world out of vengence.

The characters are great for the most part i enjoy how there are character archetypes of characters in other anime of course they arent the same ppl but you can fill in who is who for the most part the most obvious being the magic girl who is basically madoka from madoka magika and what i also like is that the characters themselves portray exactly what the archetypes are using the same magic girl example you have them as being the bringers of peace and fighting evil to save both sides with that character in this anime she fits the build and thats what i probably enjoyed the most from this series. The interactions between the characters is also something great the best personally being the magane stuff between any character honestly shes evil in the sense of the acts yet she kind of does anything she wants nobody keeps her in a box and she does whatever the fuck she wants any interaction with her was Gold.

The fighting in the series was great for what it was but for the most part the anime is just a lot of talking...which doesn't bother me at all but for this particular series it does.

Imagine having characters you created for a anime ppl watch that anime and you are able to edit certain characters to your liking but in order for things to change the audience needs to accept it and then imagine that for multiple characters add in one Overpowered character who has a dead creator and wants to destroy everything and nobody can do any damage to her whatsoever then add another character who is created for the sole purpose to defeat the Op character but because the audience doesnt accept the random change that doesnt work then add in a creator whos dead and is brought back to life as a creation from another creator who has a connection to said person to defeat the creation they made while they were alive.... Confusing aint it. This is my biggest problem with the show its too damn convulted theres more stuff i left out but this is the main problems i have also factor in a useless ass main character in sota for about half of the series until he finally grows a pair and speaks on the connection to altair with the other creations and creators who are trying to defeat her. I found myself lost at times with this show becasue of how confusing it is the concept is great the story wasnt bad nor was anything else but the execution for majority of this series was terrible or great i dont really know what the point was of all the extra shit esp in the last stretch of episodes the ending was very predictable esp with the way they set up with the previous episode and i find myself confused, mad and happy all at the same time the potential was there but shit just went wrong from the early stages till damn near the end with only one episode left i doubt it will really change the feelings i have from the previous bulk of other episodes and it sucks cuz its not a bad anime yet theres so many issues with it.

Like the anime this review is confusing and all over the place i was hoping this would be one of my favorites of the year but all the issues are just a giant problem for me and unfortunately after i finish the final episode i will never watch this again and have no desire to as you can see i'm conflicted with this series but maybe you the reader might enjoy the anime the concept alone is intriguing and you might really enjoy the characters since there are a lot that are different from one another but me personally nah.

Fresh off of finishing this about a minute ago i have to say this series has to be one of the most enjoyable new anime series that i have seen all year long. Victory Baxter of the chill grill with another review my final one to be exact i'm going to start enjoying instead of watching to just write reviews. This series has a light novel with about 6 volumes the anime goes through the first volume id suggest picking it up if you enjoyed the anime i will be picking it up myself if i can find it.

Story- In the early part of the ... anime the story is basically presented as gathering the 6 braves to fight the demon God very bland but then as the story goes in the main objective is to find out who is the 7th brave is aka the fake brave among the 6 there was one fake one and it turns into some Sherlock Holmes mystery stuff which at first i didn't care to see it but it was really hard deciding who the fake could have been because of the way the characters were portrayed but anyways fast forward and all it became really interesting hearing the dialogue and the back story of the characters which became the heart and soul of the series remove the fight scenes and you are still left with a really good story. I enjoyed this anime so much the story very well done i could have done without the many many cliffhangers but overall it has to be a 10/10 in my books.

Art- It looked different which i liked not your generic looking shounen granted this isn't a shounen but still it looked different i liked the art style and the character designs for Flamie, Adlet and Hans they looked pretty cool as for the rest they looked good as well. It wasn't all perfect though there are some derps you'll see such in the final episode like 2-3 minutes in you'll see derps many series have derps so its not a major issue.

Sound- The music has to be best if not the 2nd best thing about this entire anime the opening is f*cking amazing they didn't need to change the 1st opening but they did but it was still really good the ending is good the ost is great as well the overall soundtrack is definitely hard hitting for action scenes the opening music scene and you get the ominous mysterious music when someone is being named a suspect for being a brave.

Characters- One word "amazing" There are characters that you just love and of course some you hate but overall the characterization of the main characters just give you the feeling of "everything is so good".

Enjoyment - 10/10 Due to the great soundtrack, outstanding story with many plot twists and characters as well as the animation in the fight scenes i will excuse the shit known as cgi that was in the series although very little still there but overall i found this series as being a jem in the entire season.

The anime review of Shimoneta by your favorite chef of the Chill Grill Victor Baxter.

When the summer season began this anime was not on the radar for everybody because everyone was hyped about "Charlotte, Gangsta, Dragon ball super" and a few others but these were the ones most people were hoping for.

On jul 4 th 2015 we received Shimoneta and it quickly became controversial due to one character and the reverse "r*pe" scenes that were ridiculously funny....f'd up to say but if you watched it you understand it wasn't meant to be serious.

The entire anime is basically a story about censorship against lewd things ... and a terrorist group known as (SOX) form more members join later on but essentially they want for people to see how everyone needs a little bit of lewd things in their lives and try to rid of the censorship. Good art and a good really catchy opening Characters are good Anna definitely is one of the best yandere girls we have seen in a while i honestly don't really know what to say about this except fot the fact is really damn funny and if you are a fan of dirty joke humor you will receive many laughs from this series. I enjoyed just about everything if you are a fan of dirty jokes this series is a jewel in a pile of rocks.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu also called assassination classroom in english Its basically an a group of assassins are given a mission to kill their teacher Koro-sensei who is a supernatural being (alien) who can move really fast and was strong enough to make the moon in his own image and class-E aka the assassination classroom are given the task to kill him before they graduate or Koro-sensei will cause more harm and whatnot. My overall experience with the anime was good i watched the dub and thought the voice actor for Koro-sensei did a really damn good job the voice for karma and so on the music ... was decent nothing too special. The intro however was really catchy every time i think about the anime the introduction music just comes into mind. The art is pretty good as well pretty decent character designs nothing too amazing but im not the artist so i cannot say garbage about it. Animation was good, story was fun and interesting enough to get me invested and to actually share a little laugh. Characters were pretty good the anime is more so focused on the class itself rather than 1 main character overall i just really enjoyed this anime and id recommend it.

The spring 2015 anime Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu also known as the disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan this is the 2nd just not appealing boring anime ive seen in the spring season next to triage x but at least triage had the fan service going for it.

Story- You can read the synopsis on it but to sum it up anime wise a shy girl named Nagato Yuki is the president of a club consisting of 3 members herself and a male and female who basically do club activities and stuff along those lines and also the love story that is on going throughout the series of ... Nagato having a crush on the male member of her club before the expansion of more members. the name doesn't fit the series until about episode 10 or 11 when the dramatic scene actually happens the "disappearance" part but to be honest the story was bland and boring the characters didn't help the story much either but its not mediocre but its not good at all. The most interesting thing about the series was like 2 characters and the "disappearance" part which was not executed the way id would've hoped it to be.

Art- This is where the anime lacks the most the art isnt appealing at all it just looks meh not terrible but it isnt something that you would be interested in upon first glance with whatever looking characters and backgrounds that just look not so good it isnt something i would call good and also the animation also hinders it alot as well with certain walking scenes when another character is afar the background scene just makes it look bad and when the character is walking or running in this specific type of scene it shows the quality of the animation which isn't good but again i have seen worse.

Sound- honestly its a weak ost didn't notice anything special or good but i did enjoy the ed theme that was ok but it wasn't enough and the voice actors for Nagato,Asakura and Suzumiya i absolutely enjoyed other than that its just average.

Character- ima give this a 7 just because i liked Nagatos character although it wasn't anything new i still enjoy a quite female protagonist whos shy and cute but that's my personal liking other than that nothing amazing but its good for what it is and Asakura also was a plus her character was more so like a mother figure to Nagato giving her advice cooking for her and bending over backwards basically everything she does in the series is for Nagato at least 80% of the time and the voice actor fit the character which i appreciate. and Suzumiya which she is probably if not the best character on the entire span of the show when she appeared on the earlier episodes her character comes off as super energetic and some other traits that easily make her the most enjoyable character also you get some other characters not worth mentioning but they are whatever for most of the series nothing new and nothing special.

Enjoyment- 5/10 i wasn't looking forward to this series but i kept watching till the end i don't ever drop any anime that i choose to watch because you'll never know until you experience it yourself instead of hearing peoples opinions. I do not regret watching this because i was not hyped for it and in return i got what i expected a kinda below average slice of life series with other themes that honestly could have been executed better but wasn't and that ending didn't help the series in the least.

Overall- 6/10 just a meh series but that's what i think if you watch and like alot of slice of life watch this. There is a manga that is currently ongoing if you are looking forward to this series just read it if you are not in that mood just watch it.

Hibike is called a k-on clone by people or whatever with the comparisons but dont give hibike the credit it deserves a really good anime which i personally believe.

Story- synopsis is available for ya if you want but in short its about a girl who in junior highschool was in a brass band club and there was a competition to make it to nationals they didnt make it and she didnt really care but her friend reina did and showed her emotions so fast forward shes ends up joining a band club in her new highschool as a first year she meets reina again her ... old classmate who also attends the same school and the incident that occured when they didnt make nationals in junior highschool. So now the MC Kumiko wants to become a better euphonium player (the instrument she uses is the euphonium) and wants to go to nationals and that becomes her goal.

I thought the story was very good and well executed within the 13 episodes it had quite a bit of development in the characters and also had some funny moments along with some dramatic stuff but it was good overall but i cannot say it was amazing mainly because some of the dramatic moments and whats so ever are not elaborated on and seemingly just skipped people who have watched will know the confession episode and the 12th episode are 2 examples of what im talking about.

Art- Amazing simply amazing beautiful colors everything is so vibrant the character designs sleek shiny beautiful it has a really great appeal to it kyoto animation for the win putting out amazingly animated and beautiful looking anime for some time. Nothing here i hate everything was just perfect my only gripe would be if people dont like the super shiny bright colourful artwork then its definitly not something you'll like it.

Sound- Its basically classical band choir music or something like that you get the wood winds, brass and some drums all the categories are split into the euphoniums, trumphets, drums, flutes i mean it has everything that would fit with the type of band that the students are in and i must say not alot of music to be 100% honest i thought the music scenes and or practice scenes would be majority of the anime but it wasnt but in the mean time the classical music was great to hear even if you dislike that type of music like myself but i appreciated it sounded great and also the op is one of the best ops in the spring anime season just a really catchy song.

Character- Some of the better characters ive seen in the entire anime season no matter the genre the main character if the anime kumiko honestly wasnt the star in my opinon that spot belongs to reina kousaka and the two of them go on to inspire and help eachother as well as build a friendship after their rocky ending in the past and also make for some beautifully done scenes throughout the anime and some of the most funny moments in the anime. You get a salty b**** excuse me for that but you get her just a bunch of randoms in the band and the characters who are minor but dont really add to the story but overall kumikos friends and her bandmates help her and just give a really good vibe.
(The two characters i mentioned were just the two i found best there are more characters that actually add to the story)

Enjoyment- 9/10

overall- im giving this an 8/10 personally would give it like an 8.3/10 but rounding it so 8/10 it is or something along those lines it was a really good anime in my opinion one of the best looking anime of the spring season and very enjoyable after not hearing any hype or anything special about it until i actually watched it suprised me and was suprisingly really good.

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no majo aka Yamada and the 7 witches. i originally did not even notice this anime and wasn't gonna watch it i thought it was gonna be just meh and boy did i judge a book by its cover it was so under the radar for me that i consider it underrated also the best anime of the season in my personal opinion. If i had one major issue it would be the pacing it was a little fast.

Story- I would have liked the anime to be longer but it definitely got to everything it needed in terms of the 7 witches ... story.The setting is within the school premises for the most part and the story consists of a guy who is a delinquent who ends up accidentally trips from a flight of stairs on to a girl who is the best student in the school they end up kissing during the fall and then they body swap during the exchange and later on realize that the kiss triggered the body switch so fast forward they revive an old club and the club that is for finding the 7 witches and the wacky funny dramatic journey begins.

At first glance it may not seem very exciting and enticing but its interesting and as you get into the story you realize the burdens the witches face because of the powers they possess and you also get just so much weird wacky moments overall the story really stood out compared to everything i have watched this anime season.

Art- Colorful real shiny overall its just something really good that honestly it sticks out the drawings may not be wow but mixed with everything the vibrancy if the colors the rainy scenes it was just really good.

Sound- not much to say everything fits within the anime it has an awesome opening and intro one of the best in the season imo and also has a decent ending. Character voices match the characters and the ost is fitting to say the most good overall.

Characters- In terms of characters you get the 7 witches of course the 2 witch ******* and the student council along with some other characters you get an decent amount of characters that actually contribute to the story and you also get a crap load of character development within the 7 witches for their specific episodes once they are found and also get alot of development through the leading male character the witches powers creates for some funny moments and dramatic moments and pasts that you might relate to irl or just sympathize with.

Enjoyment- 10/10 like i said my personal favorite and best anime ive seen this season in terms of everything including other seasons of anime from b4.

Overall- 9/10 was it perfect? no but it was really good. Was it satisfying? Yes it was but i would have liked to seen more but the ending was a perfect fit to end the series.

The adaptation from the manga (never read will start reading) to the anime form wasn't good because based on opinions from the manga readers it is completely different but one thing ive noticed amongst the manga readers are that the anime even though it doesn't follow the manga it is still great on its own. My anime of the season is Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo (TV).
