first, if you like school genre then you already in a goot point to pick this
second, if you like some slice of life with non cliche plot line then you may like this
then last but not least, if you really appreciate an oldscholl rock then you are in right anime to watch :D
ok, here's my personal review about BECK
i am starting watching BECK because i was already read the manga itself. and it suits me very well, especially my teenage school life. and with the band. and bcause i had a band like koyuki, so i end up searching the anime and this i serve
...
you as well.
the most likely i'd love this part that not included in the manga was "you can hear what koyuki/chiba sing, taira's funky bass, ryusuke's lead guitar, and saku's drum play. i imagine there were suberb and the staff was really blast off for making it.

second. like i mention before. i like an oldschool rock genre.. in this anime. we will watch there were aren't parodies. they were real (at least several instrumen got a pun name but nevermind that)
BECK for put it out for myself . the main chara Koyuki, their life teenager was TOTALLY 100% suits me very well. watching it was like watching myold self before about how sucks i am and how powerless and how passionate i am to music.
PS : i prefer you guys watching who was Original TV run then the DVD version bcouse they have BIG difference, especially on the 2 last episode. i've already watched them...
