Did someone actually watched the anime?


This anime is feels like out of fetish of the author who will get every girl with the help of a smartphone. The concept is good but the execution is more on a fetish side of the author. Story is very bland and the voice of the seiyuu it seems that he knows it's not to take this seriously. It's probably one of the anime that's bound to fail and it successfuly did it's task.

This anime is not even a good background noise. You know it's bad when the voice of the protagonist has no personality.

If you finished it ... and you're mentally stable. I applaud you. But for people with the same mental state as the author please have yourself checked with a psychiatrist. You definitely need help.

I just watched Bocchi the Rock and it was well worth it! It was a roller coaster ride that's definitely relatable in the current society! With the current trend of most people staying online and quite awkward IRL. This Bocchi the Rock may gave you courage and motivation to beat it out of your system! Wishing for season 2!


Story:

Bocchi the Rock's story is like a typical shounen character in which people try their best to overcome their weakness by doing something about it and pursuing their dream. BtR's story is more about an introverted person with social anxiety who just want to exist. Typically, they ... don't want attention but don't want to be invisible. So here comes Hitori aka Bocchi. Bocchi is a fine specimen of that kind of thinking. She wants to form a band and leave a mark in this world. I just wish they would include more also about the other character but maybe we will get there.

Characters:

The characters of Bocchi the Rock aside from Bocchi is likable at best. Ryo the cool loner type, Nijika a friendly personality, and Kita the overly extroverted type. Though, most character has its own personal depth. Most hasn't been shown yet. Kita is one of the characters that's been given light through song. The Kessoku band's song If I could be a constellation says all what Kita wants about Bocchi.

Art:

The art progression is cool! I like the transition on some weird animation and some real life pictures and such. Once you watched the Anime. The Manga is kind of hard to read. The Director's direction of the manga is really stunning!

Enjoyment:

You will definitely enjoy BtR especially the songs. You may probably humming their songs for weeks if not months! Bocchi is relatable character when every people today is already focused online.

I personally recommend to watch it!

So Hai to Gensou no Grimgar is one of those hidden gems that usually comes out of nowhere and we wouldn't hear it from again. It's a great series with a kind of tragic and good development. It's a fun rollercoaster ride from top to bottom. I guarantee you it's one of the best isekai out there that deserves more attention that you think. It could even go toe to toe with mainstream one if it was only given a chance. So here it is.

So before writing the review I watched the anime and read the light novel so this ... might contains a bit of a spoiler if in light novel. But don't worry, I'll focus more on the anime.

Story:

The story is really refreshing. Although, they excluded alot of things that is really important later on but it seems clear that this anime was designed to be one-off season only without any continuation seeing how things end. Everything is alive in this place. The story is not like any isekai you see where the author is some kind of people who just love to see girls fall inlove to MC like they don't even know how love works and just put every beautiful girls in the story and falls inlove with the MC. It's not like this, it has a nice ring to it that take things slow and you'll definitely see how people work hard to get things not some overpowered one. You could also say it's one of those series that has a realistic tone about being an adventurer like not everything is an action but also you're weak early on but if you train hard you will succeed but maybe fail and if you fail you can die. The downside is just that the pacing is slow that was why it didn't get enough traction to the fans just become some hidden gems. This is also probably the reason why it didn't get a season 2 aside from the it seems it's really fixed to be one off season.

Art:

Art is simply amazing! It's gorgeous. I am not an artistic person so I am bad at describing the art. The color pallette didn't change if something happens just to show that people in this world is just another life in another world and that they're not some special people. This is also were the part when they're just doing some slice of life thingy, you can enjoy the art by just sitting back relax and enjoy. The coloring of the background is like a water color drawing which is really easy on the eyes. You'll fall inlove to the setting of the Grimgar and the fortress city of Alterna. The art also reminds me of Dark Souls.

Sound:

The music is actually good, the OST is good. It actually keeps playing in my head. Also, just a normal walking in the city or woods is a cool music one which you can listen to. If only cities in real life has BGM I would choose this. Also, during the fight scene putting some rock song onto it bring the beauty out of it. You'll definitely feel the tense and suspense of the action.

Characters:

The characters of this anime is really relatable if not likable. They have each and every personality like most but what made them different from other isekai is that they have SOUL. The soul that made them stand out and unique to each of everyone. You'll feel that one character is hiding something (which was revealed on some side stories in novel and that I was right! :D) You'll definitely see their growth in every aspects of their life. Once, they were just kids that looks like playing along in life but things changed and you'll see how they do things differently. You'll find one character annoying, one lovable, and one's kind of cool. So if you're not into beta males brain dead MCs (I am looking at you smartphone isekai) then this is for you.

Enjoyment:

Dude, this anime is a rollercoaster ride of trust and emotional damage. It's kind of dark with some light art style. The enjoyment of this anime depends on person to person. But I am the kind of person who liked to balance Action and Slice of life. As I played MMORPG before I kind of understand how Grimgar works. It's actually one of those animes that turn game mechanics into life. It also teach us that how one's death could affect everything so if you're into a dark anime with light setting then this is for you.

Overall:

Like I mentioned earlier, Grimgar is one of those hidden gems that deserves your attention. It's not as flashy as other isekai. They're not overpowered to be real they're the underdogs. So if you like rooting the underdogs Grimgar is for you. Ao Jyumonji just made a masterpiece that for me can rival big names in High Fantasy genre if he can polish this novel. So cheers to you!

Well for making it short "This is helluva anime that relates my life as a human yet not really a like but still find some similarity" That's the first thing comes to my mind when Hikigaya speaks to Yuigamahama on episode 4...


This anime was really well made that most anime characters has really have a realistic personality.. Unlike most anime that have unrealistic one. Most people who're gloomy or somewhat kinda fond of being the bad side yet they're really good can relate to this.. This anime's protagonist follows the idea of "The End Justifies The Means" well set aside Niccolo Machiavelli's Political theory. ... This anime if not really the greatest.. will be one of the best in this season why? Once you've watched it you'll ask for more.. The characters are well made and the personality.. the Art.. and the Opening Theme "Yukitoki" by Nagi Yanagi who also sang one of my favorite Opening theme Kimi no monogatari shiranai. The story line.. Well despite all of this and the Title the romance is little.. I think because the novel is just halfway to end.. The Character's of the Service CLub.. Hikigaya the badass guy.. Yuigahama the sweet girl.. Yukino the Cold Beauty.. Well they really the same.. This anime made me feel that I should change because I do feel that Hikigaya reflects me.. Well this anime is a great one.. It's really enjoyable.. There's drama plot twist and the other.. It won't disappoint you.. It's the greatest season of School Romance Comedy Anime..

Well I make this review short

It's basically means that it's a spin-off of the game Steins;gate that is purely romance comedy between a Mad Scientist Houin Kyouma and a Tsundere Makise Kurisu... well if you want to see a light hearted sight of the anime series I suggest you read this coz it's really funny and I hope they continue this

Well let's get ready for reviewing SAO .It's pretty disappointing tome but pls bear with it. I might ended up comparing it with other animes like AW but pls bear with me :))

A very poor storyline... well it's kinda cool when they only say you need to beat the game to log out and it'll be a death game.. well it become interesting but as series progresses well it's plain boring... BORING!!... well most of the girls here fell in love with Kirito in just one day... well it's kinda like harem.. It might be better if they turn it into an ecchi anime ... or completely hentai.. because most of the people are just waiting for Chapter 6.5 I guess? Well for it's just that bad

One word EPIC!!!! well it's really epic and great the fighting scenes well it covers up most of the bad sides of SAO but for me Art is not the only one but still it's one of the epic anime I've ever watch.. It's great really great... the location the scenery and all.. pretty much epic

Well not all sounds are better... the sound of Accel World is pretty much more better and Ragnarok.. so still it might work out... it can still kick ass for the sound

Well for a character I thought it was a BL coz It'll be Kirito x Klein well wahahaha... setting that aside Most of the girls falls for Kirito in one night for no apparent reasons so it's plain boring and nonsense Asuna is excempted but still I think Kirito make Asuna to eat the Rabbit's meat to make Asuna fall in love with him well that's only a speculation..

It's still great anime despite of it's bad sides coz I'm really wishing to play this one day.. and I think most people are watching this because of that.. SAO become more popular only because many gamers wishes to play a game like this where you're the one who is the character itself.. well making it a death game pretty much good also

Come on People! honestly speaking SAO is not all that great! its irritating seeing people being completely all over SAO! the fight scene is all that is good in the anime but everything else is crappy.

people only like SAO because it has great art and its an online game in which people nowadays takes interest in. people don't even give a thought about the whole story in which its just a ripped off from the anime ".hack""

well I'm going to watch Accel World rather than SAO and I'm wanting AW to have season 2 well thank for reading :))

I accept the first episode just a prologue I though it'll be a Lord of the Ring style settings but it's a big disappointment I though elf will play a major role in here... I keep waiting and waiting and yet no action come... and the fuck with it? making a story with a bread?It's pretty plain boring. And it's very annoying all people says "Hmmm It smells good" over and over again...goddamnit!! it's getting on my nerves...If you plan to watch it you better ... not...

I nearly got stomachache because of it...It's soo funny... they combine Final Fantasy and Gundam.. because Sunrise and Square Enix is going to cooperate woah woah hahhaha :)) It's really funny... Well not good for a great anime coz there's no particularly story in every episodes just full of laugh... you can call it an anime ... sitcom coz it's really hilarious..They only letting the viewer see the life of every boys in Japan not only in Japan probably the world... :))

It's really worthwhile watching it... I watch it from Night until Morning to finish it coz it's really great.. It's one of helluva great sleepless nights.. Hope I'm gonna find another anime like this :))

Well it's sad to see that most of the people rate it low I dunno why... I can't tell this is a masterpiece but it's worth watching Infinite Stratos might be a rip-off Gundam series but I guess it's still a bit different though it's a harem but there's no fan-service in here(kinda disappointing though just kidding hehehe). I dunno if I give it a 7 coz the story is not really good for now coz it's only introducing other characters and after introducing they fight.. So it's not really great for that. It really ... leaves me crave for more coz I heard there's a light novel of it and it is still on-going and the fight is Arena type like most brawling battle...

Well The art is fantastic and great coz it's well made combination of 2d and 3d so what can you ask for? It can even rival the art of the new releases to date. So I'm really thrilled about it.... Most especially the fight scene in the end.. well spoiler* where they fight Silveria Gospel the one that is in the start of the anime..

The Op theme and Ed theme is great and the BGM matches the scene so it's really great....

Well for the character I thought the characters are for fan-service but I've mistaken(too bad hehehe) but it's really great I'm really obsess with this German Character Laura Bodewig for unknown reasons. Well Laura and Ichika won't get well.. coz it's hinted in the last episode that oops spoiler... well it's great it has a well breed of character for a harem one

A perfect story that concludes what happen in 4th Holy grail war that lead to 5th Holy Grail war and concludes that who is this Emiya Kiritsugu and why Kotomine is angry with him just like that.. But the story is ... kinda much more brutal than the fate/stay night.. It's really great to watch and I want the UFOTable to release the Heaven's feel too..ok back to Fate/zero.well the story is great but they I don't see Kiritsugu die but I've seen his last moment... well see for yourself I've given you a spoiler afterall

It's a masterpiece it's a combination of 2D and 3D element in animating and the art is very much more detailed than the fate/stay night... it rivals the Unlimited bladeworks it's great.. in every fight scene ... they leave me breathless and mesmerize by it..

Well the sound is much more realistic than fate/stay night though. and the Op theme and ED theme really match the anime.. It's really great that they create this anime whew..

The characters personality are well made especially Emiya Kiritsugu... I like his action.. He do things without hesitation and does not irritates me.. in the other hand the best servant I guess is rider.. he's one of the humor of this series.... It's great that he has his funny side or this anime will be too much serious...

Well it's very enjoying after I finish downloading everything I watch it from the start once more.. In every fight scene it leaves me breathless and It makes me eager to watch again the episodes.. well it forced me though to watch fate/stay night again.. but it's a great series...

I bet you.. You're gonna watch fate/stay night again after you finish this anime :)
