Well this is my first review, so I hope that I won't look stupid writting my thoughts here

I actually don't get people who are saying that this show is s**t. Well first of all I think that watching anime should bring enjoyment to people. This show may be overrated right now, but I don't consider this anime anywhere near bad, I mean it should totally be in a top 50 at least. I may not be an expert on anime like some people are, but when some anime with alternate world comes up, people are immediatly pairing it up with SAO, well maybe SAO ... was one of the first series coming with an alternate world, so what? Then why not pair up all romance animes and say that they are the same? "Main protagonists in SAO and No Game No Life(NGNL) are almost the same" - well I don't see how people come to that conclusion, the idea of the main hero being an outcast or "one vs. the world" is used in a lot of animes, but that doesn't make me dislike them. Besides this show has some huge potential in my eyes and I think if it will turn out good in plot, then it will shine even brighter than now.

Now for the review

Story - The main plot in NGNL wasn't something brand new, but it was actually a good mixture of genres. It made me laugh, it made me fired up from time to time and for about last 4-5 months it was the only anime that made my hair stand up from excitement. I think this still was a breeze of something new this year, because it was finally a show that lied close to my heart, it was serious, it was funny, it made me sad that I watched it, because even overwatching it won't bring back those same emotions/feelings. (9/10)

Art - To me the art was flawless, it was a bit different from other animes, but it managed to make my eye relax watching it. Don't know if I should mention it but it was all good, no creepy backgrounds like in Pandora Hearts. (10/10)

Sound - the sound was also well done, the Opening and Ending themes were enjoyable, but not very memorable and they brought a little more atmosphere to the anime. The voice acting (Japanese) was really good, all the characters had the voices that suited them pretty good in my opinion. (9/10)

Characters - This is were the show really shined. All the characters were well done, there were no "filler characters", because all the characters who were introduced played a role in the main story. The main protagonist wasn't anything special, but in my language there is such a saying "Everything brilliant is simple", so I think that he was looking just the way he had to. As for the other characters (Almost all girls) they were all really pretty and had something special to each of them in their looks. They were all kawaiii and had a veriety of race, personality and *cough* breast size :) . And by the way I didn't read the light novel, but what gender is Tet or a God doesn't have a gender? It's bugging me for some reason. (10/10)

Enjoyment - I really enjoyed it to the fullest, everything was to my liking. I don't know what to say more here. (10/10)

Overall - It was really an awesome time watching this anime, I don't know how some people may put it under 5, but I guess we are all different. I would recommend it to everyone who likes brain games, cute girls and just positive and not dull animes.
