Story: This story is beyond beautiful; I was drawn to this show seeing it had a disabled lead and enjoyed how it handled this fact apart from the one section where i wonder if they really needed Tsuneo becoming hospitalised in order to resolve his lack of understanding of Josee's issues.

Sound: I really liked all the ending songs, they provided their own comedic value outside the story of the episode. The soundtrack and general sound design are great probably the best thing the show has going for it.
the story seemed to working in a cycle of 5 good episodes and 5 bad ones; I watched this witch a friend and one week we were on the end of our seats and the next we were bored out our mind by unnecessary dialogue and fights that didn't advance the plot. the fights seemed to have a similar contrast between the amazing fights like the first fight with ensign poe which then got repeated a few too many times for me; or the fight between turn a and ...

SHOULD HAVE MADE IT A SHOW INSTEAD OF A MOVIE!
I saw loads of potential in this movie. The story is great, so is the art style and I liked its sound direction, although I felt as it was missing something but this could be due to the pacing of the movie being too rushed. Fitting this kind of thing into 2 hours really restricted what it could have been. Massive pacing issues! It should have been made as an at least 24 episode show hopefully, even more. Then it could have taken it slower and built it up to a crescendo to then shock us ...

The show gradually built up relationships between the characters until it builds up into a crescendo and then the obvious thing happens. I liked all the characters they all played their part in moving the story along and provided an overall really enjoyable apart from that, I have watched this anime three times as of writing this review and even the third time it still was really good. The sub is way better than Dub, I fell like the dubbed version misses out on the feel of the show in certain places. I'm glad I rewatched it was and still is an amazing show which I recommend ... |
