This may be quite unfair but I really want to rate this show based on all 3 seasons and I am going to do just that.
~~ This is based on my experience after watching S1,S2 + S3 ~~
Where do I begin? Ah. Nodame Cantabile is one of my favourite romance series and that being said, I do watch a lot of romance anime and although I do love the typical 'love at first sight' sort of thing - let's face it. It doesn't always happen in real life and Nodame Cantabile shows love in a realistic setting.
I personally love the "find someone who makes
...
you a better you" type of romance because a good partner will always make you a better type of you and in Chiaki x Nodame - it was beautiful. We see the two of them mature as they move along from one stage to another, facing difficulties and learning to accept one another's flaws. It takes a lot of work and that's reality. And I love romance animes when it's real.
Love is a really funny thing. It's really difficult to interpret but I always find that small things really do matter. It's not about the big things that couples have to do - it's the small things that people normally don't really care about.
For example, Chiaki constantly taking care of Nodame - cooking for her, cleaning her room and laundry, etc
That to me, is love at its simplest form.
If you enjoy a series filled with funny characters, amazing classical music and slowly developed romance - then this is definitely the show for you.
It's really a hidden gem.

Ahh...Clannad After Story. Where do I start....
First of all, I would highly recommend you to first watch Clannad before proceeding to watch Clannad: After Story. You will thank me later.
I watched Clannad After Story right after I watched Clannad and to be honest, the first few episodes of Clannad After Story was a bit draggy and boring for me which made me dropped it for quite a while and I'm glad I decided to come back to it. The reason why I gave the story a 10 out of a 10 is because of all the different types of emotions I felt when I
...
watched this series.
I laughed and cried but I would say I cried more than I laughed. This anime series literally left such a deep impression on me that I couldn't move on to another anime after watching it. I was too scarred emotionally to move on but eventually, I did. Hah.
Don't expect a fast-paced plot or any over-the-top action because in Clannad:AS, what you would normally get is just a realistic piece of work. And I guess that's why it's rated so highly because everyone - LITERALLY - everyone can relate to it.
About how it feels to lose something important to you. How it feels to have a bad relationship with a close relative. How it feels to not have something/someone to live for.
I shall quote what Tomoya said in the first episode of the series in Clannad.
"I hate this city. It’s full of all the memories I want to forget about. Go to school every day, chat with friends, and then go back to the home I don’t even want to go back to.
Will something eventually change, doing this? Will that day come?"
Have you ever felt how it feels to live a life without any meaning? A life where you do the same thing and go through the same constant cycle without wondering what it's like to break out of it?
Tomoya did. And this is how character development was such a STRONG point in Clannad: AS. I cannot, CANNOT emphasize on how amazing the character development is. In Clannad: AS, Tomoya changed from a delinquent to such a respectful grown up man. He grew to accept what he cannot change and learn to embrace what is in front of him even though it is difficult to do so.
I thoroughly enjoyed this anime series so much. It painfully shows us how realistic life really is and how the people around us can help to change our perspective of our own lives. No matter where you go, that place could be beautiful as long as you have that special someone by your side. And that is exactly what Clannad AS is all about.
Clannad AS wouldn't be that amazing if it wasn't for the music as well. The music is just brilliant. It contributes to the atmosphere and made every emotion felt so raw. As for the art, there were a few episodes where the main characters were drawn in a rush but other than that, it was as beautiful as Clannad. The glow on their faces were beautiful.
Overall, Clannad AS is a high on my must-watch list. Although it starts off a little draggy, I assure you that it is very well worth your time although you will have some terrible withdrawal symptoms right after you are done with it.
I really cannot emphasize on how beautiful this anime is. Sometimes, we don't need to be super wealthy, smart, beautiful in order to feel amazing.
All we need is that special someone who complements us and makes us feel like we are amazing. Life can be beautiful - we just need to find a reason for it to be beautiful. Nagisa was Tomoya's reason.

Do you recall the time where you did not fit in at a new school and had no friends at all? Did you recall the time where you made your true and real friend? Did you remember the time you fell in love or like someone?
Well, Kimi Ni Todoke is all of the above. It doesn't really have a storyline but it is still a very, very good romance anime. I loved it very much. If you experienced all of the above + watched Kimi Ni Todoke and not like it - you must be insane.
Okay, that's quite rude, isn't it? But then -
...
Kimi Ni Todoke is more of a "slice of life" movie + "girl" yes, definitely a girl romance anime but this doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by males!
It shows the life of Kuronuma Sawako who is trying her best to make friends but finds it hard because of a rumor started in the school about her having the same resemblance to Sadako's "The Ring" + her being a witch and all...
Plus, it doesn't help that she's shy and acts weirdly each time someone tries to talk to her. But thanks to a boy...a very friendly and popular boy who is well liked by everyone - Kazehaya, who said "Hi" to her...and maybe, just maybe, her life would be different - for once.
Well, that's just my "lame" plot but yeah...I tried my best. hehe.
Story: 10/10
I loved the story a lot. I'm not sure if it's original or not since I'm kinda sick of all those "Lots of guys fall in love with this girl" thing or "Dumb girl falls in love with ridiculously handsome boy and tries her best" plot so to me, this plot was refreshingly new and different.
Many people may dislike it because of the slow-pacing of the romance but for someone like me - I really really dislike slow paced movies - especially fillers episodes, they get on my nerves - really, but this series - wow oh wow...each episode makes me CRAVE FOR MORE!!
It's slow but it shows us how the romance between Kazehaya and Kuronuma slowly bloomed...it's so sweet it makes me squeal with glee just to see them acting awkwardly in front of each other. Because, like I said, it's more of a "slice of life" romance anime and tells us how a girl falls in love and make friends for the first time. It's definitely a refreshing concept.
Kuronuma making friends for the first time and making a new rival - it is so interesting to watch because it's not new to us but it's new - to her. To watch it from her view is superb interesting cause we all know how it feels to make a new rival or a new true friend.
Whilst I watch this, I thought of the first time I liked someone and the first time, I found my true friends...it was so memorable and being able to "be in" Kuronuma's point of view made it even cooler.
Art: 9/10
At first, I didn't like the characters design which is why I never thought of watching it till I heard about all the good reviews about it so I decided to give it a try - and heck, I'm glad I did! Because sometimes, I hear good reviews about a particular movie and they end up disappointing me so I'm really glad Kimi Ni Todoke didn't!
How wrong I am. The characters looked more like "real" people and they aren't TOO hot to begin with. I'm so scared of hot bishies because seriously, people have a knack for drawing beautiful male characters and that would make me lose control. Ha ha. ha. Just kidding but yeah. They look real and it's neat. :)
The background was oh-so-pretty and detailed. Yes. Detailed. It isn't some scribble form of buildings/doodles but instead, I get to see detailed background. The bubbles add a nice and soft romantic touch to it as well.
Animation was um...alright. It wasn't that great because sometimes, it looks a little fake but oh well, with such a great story to boot, who cares about the little animation fault? :D
Sound: 10/10
I love love love love love the sound that I downloaded both the OP and the ED song. Very, very nice :) Plus, the songs have nice meanings - go google them and you will see what I mean! Of course I didn't forget about the background music! That's what made the music more "enjoyable"! I could say that...the background music was appropriate - when it's sad - sad music comes up and so on...
The OP and ED song was the one that gave me a huge impact - background music was ok although I didn't take notice of it much. When I don't take notice of a background music, it's either
1) It' fits the mood perfectly so I have no questions about it
2) Not much of a huge impact for me to remember it
Moving on to character :)
10/10
Sawako's demure personality is so lovable. She's so pure and so...innocent and is friendly with almost everyone. It's so sad that she appears so scary outside when she's trying to interact with someone just because she doesn't know how to. But inside, she's just a normal girl like everyone else. It's cute how she experiences new things and you know - her chibi "OMG" self appears each time she experiences something new. Very cute.
Kazehaya is really oh wow different from male leads. He's not incredibly smart but he's very popular. To me, he looks quite average and is different from all those male leads - hot, handsome, smart, the Mr "I'm perfect and you know it - be jealous, bitches" HAHAHAHA. Ok, I'm exaggerating but yeah, you got my point. He's pretty much shy and has some flaws as well.
It's interesting to see how shy he gets + blushes whenever Kuronuma stares at him for too long.
The supporting characters definitely gets a THUMB UP as well! I loved Ayane and Chizu - could you believe they actually became Sawako's close friends? Best friends maybe? :) I never expected them to be Sawako's best friends at first because of their personalities but they did :") And they were so nice as well.
Chizuru - very cute and boyish! She's the highlight of the supporting characters - to me. She cries at the littlest things and is so tomboy-ish that it's cute. But inside, she's girly.
The supporting cast are not just "stand-by" or "fillers" if you get what I mean. They are here for a purpose and they are here to make a difference in Kuronuma's life and they DID.
Watch it and you will know why. Supporting characters = the BOMB.
Oh. And as much as I hate Arai sensei, I must admit, he makes the series more interesting *evil laughter* watch it and you will know what I mean >:)
Enjoyment: 9/10
It was very very enjoyable from the first episode up till the very end. But towards the end, I must admit - it does get a little boring. Character developments were there - Kuronuma changes to a more friendly behaviour and she's more open to new things and experiences so many new things in life but the romance between her and Kazehaya was disappointing.
The pace remained the same and there weren't any development in their romance. It was the same from the middle....which is why I rated it a 9 out of 10.
And to be honest, I think the Chizuru arc was just a filler story...but it is indeed an interesting filler story :) I laughed + cried a little when I watched it. It's sweet but what does it do for the couple? Nothing, right? So that's why I find it the filler a little useless but oh well..
I did love the series a lot and constantly smile till my cheeks hurts + "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" like crazy and blush as well because let's face it girls, we've all been there - done it.
Overall: I rate it a 10/10.
It doesn't mean that just cause I rate it a 10/10 - it has to be perfect.
It's just thoroughly enjoyable to me and it's one of the best romance anime I have ever watched. Very sweet and slow but still very enjoyable.
If you want a series that reminds you of your old high-school days (I just graduated T_T i miss high school now) + makes you go "awwwwwwwwwww" + blush + feel your "firsts" experiences, then this series is definitely for you.
Likewise, I'd encourage everyone to watch it. It was a pleasant experience for me. I'm now on Season 2. Cheers :)
Thanks for reading ^_^

Kaichou Wa Maid Sama - I picked up this series because I heard a lot of compliments about it being one of the best romance anime ever.
Well, to be honest, I disagree. It's not one of the best romance anime I have ever watched and to call it the best is an overstatement.
Story: 6/10
Basically, it's about a man-hating high school president who works part time in a maid cafe and tries her best to not let her secret leak out as it will ruin her reputation as a high school president. However, one fateful day, her secret is found out by Usui Takumi, the
...
hottest guy in school.
The plot seems pretty interesting although cliche. But as the series progress, the whole maid thing seemed like it was all just a "line" to attract viewers - like me.
Misaki as a maid didn't even seem important in the series - the series was quite jumbled up and I don't even know if there's a story behind it.
What bugged me the most was Shintani - Misaki's childhood friend who appeared out of a sudden in the last 4 episodes - I mean why on earth does it has to be in the last 4 episodes?
Basically, the story has lots of unsolved parts like Usui's mysterious background - why is he living alone huh with a cat? What happened to Shintani? :O So how does the maid thing goes? Did the school find out about it?
If they weren't planning on doing another season of Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, then they should have omit all these "missing" parts. But IF there is a second season, I rest my case.
Art: 7/10
Before I watched Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, I was watching Sugar Sugar Rune and I know it's pretty biased to do this but I just had to compare Sugar Sugar Rune's art with Kaichou wa Maid Sama although they are two completely different series.
The background art in Kaichou wa Maid Sama was......decent. I thought it wasn't very detailed and to put it simply, it's unattractive. The characters are alright- lots of chibi art and that makes it really cute :D
Sound: 7/10
OP song is catchy although I'm not a big fan of the ending songs D: They were a bit too rock-ish for me..
Character: 7/10
I think the main reason why so many people loved Kaichou Wa Maid Sama and regard it as one of the best romance anime is because they either
A) Find Usui cute
Trust me, if you fell in love with an anime character, you would love that anime to death - I've been there.
B) Wishes there was someone like Usui
I'm put off by Usui's personality. Damn! Is he perfect or is he PERFECT? There are absolutely no flaws in him. He can fight, he's handsome, hot, smart, sporty and everything you want in a perfect guy. But that's why I dislike him.
In reality, there is no guy like that and I do wish Usui had some kind of flaws...(Wearing glasses is not a flaw) HAHAHAHA I did see Usui wearing glasses in some episodes - is he really short sighted or what? Was he wearing contact lenses all these while?
Okay, bear with me, I'm just curious :P
However, I do like Misaki. She's hardworking, stubborn and strong and let's not forget, she does has some flaws which is why I rated the character part a 7 out of 10.
The supporting characters made the series more lively and interesting but to be honest, they were quite useless in all 26 episodes. There weren't much character development till the end of the series and I thought that the ending was really, really awful.
It was rushed and it's a mix of all 25 episodes crumbled up into 1 last episode - episode 26. That's what I have to say about episode 26.
Misaki's feelings for Usui was so CONFUSING! I don't even know if she likes him or what...she may like him all of a sudden in this episode and then hate him all of a sudden in another episode - it's just so messy.
Enjoyment: 7/10
It was funny and enjoyable if it's in a "Slice of life" category but as one of the best romance anime? NEVER.
To put in in "One of the best romance anime" is simply an offence to all romance anime lovers.
Romance series should leave you happy, warm and fluffy inside - and make you go "Awwwwwwwwwwwwww"
Kaichou wa Maid Sama didn't really leave me warm and happy inside...it just made me go...."WTFFFFFF" cause the series are quite unexpected.
It was alright overall.
So I shall rate it a 6/10.
Thanks for reading ^_^

Initially, I wanted to rate this review 9/10 overall because I'm secretly (well, not so secret anymore) in love with one of the characters inside *fan girl moment* ZERO *blush*
Zero is just too hot for an anime character, don't you think so?
*End of fan girl moment*
Back to the topic,
Basically, this story is about vampires, vampires and vampires as you would predict from the title. Honestly, I didn't plan on even watching this anime even though I heard great reviews about it and all because of the word "Vampire". Ever since Twilight came out, vampire books and movies have been a hit and
...
I personally find it overrated so I didn't even bother to look up for reviews about it.
Until...one day, I you-tube hopped and spotted Vampire Knight and read the comments...
The one that attracted me the most -> "OMGGGGG the guys in vampire knight are soooooooooooooo hot"
Since it's hard for me to get obsessed over an anime character (Okay, to be honest, it's quite easy, they just have to look pretty and good looking and I'm hooked but then, I'm being quite biased ain't I?) I went onto review sites and look up for the characters and dayum! One of the main characters attracted me just like that so I decided to give this series a try.
I will be honest though - if the first episode doesn't get me hooked onto it, I will by no means watch a second episode - unless, I'm TOO bored.
The first episode did get me hooked because it was so deep and thrilling in a fun way ;)
Story: 9/10
I thought that the story was really interesting and the plot gets deeper as you dived more into the series. No filler episodes and that makes me really happy as they concentrated on the story more.
You should wiki the story to know more about the Purebloods and the vampire families - that is really interesting. I find it really fascinating that Purebloods have so much power compared to the normal vampires and Level E and so on...
I was really afraid the story is gonna be 24/7 scary and vampire-y (as in biting and licking and stuff) but thank goodness, there were funny moments and chibi-fied faces as well. I'm surprised Kaname didn't have a chibi-face of himself!
I guess he's too cool for it B)
Art: 8/10
Nothing much to rave about but it's pleasant to my eyes. At first, I get so annoyed with the female protagonist because her eyes are SO huge that it's crazy! I mean, I know that anime girls usually have huge eyes but her eyes are so huge that they look like they're gonna suck me in anytime - seriously.
The male leads are of course - stunning and very, very hot. I have no objections of the character's art except for Yuuki's eyes. Other than that, the other characters looked pleasantly beautiful.
The background was decent - I mostly see trees and lots of trees but they suit the mood just right because half of the series, the background plays quite a role because they were very dark and moody just like the series.
Sound: 9/10
OP and ED songs were alright although I find the ED song REEEEALLY creepy that I usually skip it most of the time. I get scared easily and hey, red eyes and broken mirrors? Nuh-uh. I'm out.
But what really impressed me was the voices of the characters. It suited them just right! I love Zero's tortured voice (heheh it's sexy) and Kaname's "serious and mysterious" voice as well. I particularly liked the Chairman's voice as well. He can sound so serious at times...and then......HAPPY at other times.
Epic.
Character: 9/10
Character character character. I really love the characters in these series. Sure, they are all the same - love triangle, beautiful people T_T and all but what I'm talking about is the character itself - the personality.
I personally find Yuuki's character very weak and a little bit annoying because she doesn't do anything much and doesn't help much either other than giving her blood for Zero to drink. One good point about her: She's cute? And she's very optimistic.
Kaname's character is very, very interesting. You never know what he's up to...and you wonder - is he a good guy or a bad guy? It's like he's never both of them or he could be both of them...
He just leaves you confused.
Zero's character - dude, could you blame him if he wants to kill himself? I'm sick of people saying Zero's character is so weak and lame and all but can you actually imagine yourself in Zero's situation? Both parents killed by a vampire and yet, he turns into a vampire himself and is unable to control his thirst? Tell me, if you're like that - will you still find yourself weak?
The supporting characters are really interesting as well. I loved it when slowly by slowly, their pasts are being depict to the viewers and it leaves us wanting more!
Aidou is one of the supporting characters that impressed me. He can be so friendly and flirty yet...mean. Watch it to know what I mean :P
Enjoyment: 8/10
Some scenes were a bit draggy but they're not as draggy as Vampire Knight Guilty's, personally I find VKG verrrrrry slow but I shall save this review for later.
Each episode leaves you a cliffhanger and makes you crave for more! An episode without a cliffhanger basically tells you - "*Yawn* I shall watch this some other day..."
I know the director was trying to picture Yuuki's thoughts but they were really too much that I can predict what she's gonna say even before she goes into her "I'm scared of Vampires" mood...it's always...the same.
But all I can say is, it's interesting yet at times, it can be draggy and annoying. The plot is what keeps me glued onto the laptop screen. Episode by episode, they slowly tells us about the relationship between the vampires and the vampire hunters and of course, Yuuki's past..
Overall: 8/10
The 8 is for the lovely characters and the really interesting story and of course the enjoyment. The -2 - some scenes were draggy and put on repeat but other than that, you're gonna enjoy this movie if you're up for a little romance and mystery.

Ahh, I really really did love Yumeiro Patissiere but when I watched Yumeiro Patissiere Professional, I was a little sad.
Partly because
A) It ended so soon
B) I don't really get the storyline - so basically they were all just thinking of ideas how to open up their shop and all
C) They didn't show how the romance between **SPOILER** Kashino and Ichigo started **END OF SPOILER** That makes me really annoyed and I was like, "What?? When??" They should have do it slowly how Ichigo started to reciprocate her feelings for Kashino.
I'm sorry in advance if I led out any spoilers...
Story: It was so-so. I wasn't
...
convinced. Basically to me, it's like a repeat of Yumeiro Patissiere season 1 except, shorter.
Art: 9/10
I love the background art as usual although I do find the 3D scenes a bit weird at times. The characters looked a little older than usual and I prefer the characters in Season one because at times, I find that they looked odd - no idea why though. Glad to know the sweet spirits are still as cute as before! :)
Sound: 10/10
Probably one of the best I heard in most of the series (other than Gakuen Alice)
I loved both the opening and the ending! Dude, the opening was so catchy that it makes me wanna bop my head and sing with it along! The sweet spirits dancing to the song makes it so cute as well! Have a listen, it's really worth your time :)
The ending ; super adorable! I'm glad they used the sweet spirits are the main characters in the ending cause they were really cute! Sowa sowa sowa so waffle wonderful :D
Character: 8/10
The addition of Maize and Johnny was really funny! It made the series really interesting because just watch it and you will get what I mean. Johny is TOO funny. The way he speaks and all.
But I'm a bit bummed up that Team Ichigo split up. When they were together, you can feel that they really did work as a group and tried their best together. I miss that, a lot.
Enjoyment: 7/10
Short but still alright, worth a watch.
Overall: 7/10
I do hope they have a third season and I hope they would make it longer as well. The story is pretty decent - worth a watch and it's funny as well. And like the first season, it made me crave for SWEETS in the middle of the night! :D

Yumeiro Patissiere is not a series with a unique storyline but it is definitely enjoyable and you would not regret watching it.
In my opinion, the first time I watched it, I find it a tad bit boring because this movie contains A LOT of fillers but the story progresses as you watch more episodes so do watch MORE episodes cause they will definitely get you hooked onto it.
Story: 8/10
It was a so-so story, not an original story (Think: Gakuen Alice) A girl who has no talents in cooking except eating but she does has an incredible palate comes into the story, recommended by a famous
...
Patissiere and she goes to school and tries to get accepted.
But the story does get interesting as you watch more - to me, the part where they joined the Cake Grand Prix was REALLY interesting. It was so intense that I sometimes shudder at the thought of who won and who lose cause it is SO unpredictable that it makes the viewers wonder what will happen next.
There is a little romance in the series which makes it really cute! At first, I thought the addition of the fairies were a little silly since all they did was just chant a few noises here and there but eventually, I noticed they do play an important role in cheering the Team up.
I liked the chibi fairies and they were really cute especially Caramel-desu! Love her! And Cafe-kun of course.
The concept of the Sweet Princes were interesting as well.
Sound: 9/10
I LOVE the songs for the opening and the ending but I have to admit, the ending was more catchy :D Don't you DARE forget the background music (OST) They were INCREDIBLE. I loved the background music the most. Probably the best part of the series. You should take note of the background music from time to time asit really fits the mood.
For example, the sad ones would be really sad. Try listening - it has a soft melodic touch to it. Sometimes during the competition part, they play those "nervous" music which is really a nice touch to the nervous mood of the episodes.
Art: 9/10
I like the art. They were clean and crisp and the background is really nice. I'm a sucker for nice background art and it's important for them to look good. As for the desserts - DUDE, have you ever watched Yumeiro Patissiere and NOT get hungry? Cause I always tend to get hungry when I watch them.
And I crave for chocolates - A LOT.
Damn, these series sure makes me crave for sweets a lot even though I'm more of a fan of savoury. That proves the art is great ;)
Character: 9/10
Amano Ichigo is very much alike as most female protagonists - optimistic, cheerful, tries her best in everything although she has no skills - they're quite cliche aren't they? But I love them because in my everyday life - each time I'm about to say "I can't do it" I would always think of these characters and wonder to myself - if they can, I can as well. So these characters are a really great addition to the story.
The Sweet Princes - The characters are alright - Kashino being very mean spirited and all but that makes him really cute :3
Did I mention how much I love Hanabusa-kun's character? He is SO darn funny. Watch the series further to know more of his character. You would definitely love him.
As for the rest- the sweet spirits, they were really cute as well! Cafe-kun is super adorable.
Koshiro-san - one REALLY annoying girl that you would probably hate yet love because she's a great supporting character in the series.
Enjoyment: 9/10: Overall, it's a great watch which makes me happy because looking at how hard someone works just to be on top and even though it ain't reality, it's always good to step out of reality once in a while and enjoy yourselves watching light-hearted anime.
Overall: 8/10
Decent storyline but interesting as you progress. Definitely worth a watch ;)

I've just watched finish Gakuen Alice ; I wasn't keen on watching it at first since I thought it's all kid-like looking and not really my type...but I watched it anyways and boy, am I impressed!
A lot of people prefer the manga better than the anime saying the story is more deep and there are more kissing scenes and what not - but honestly, I am pretty glad they decided to end it that way with less dark and deep scenes because hey, i'm sure there are still lots of 10 year olds that watch these movies and it would be pretty cruel to show
...
them how evil the real story is, right?
I STILL hope for a season 2 though =(
Anyways, the story, I LOVED THE STORY. Although, it ain't anything new or spectacular, it's still interesting! I do wish for to have an alice of my own =( Looking at those alices kids makes me really envy them and they're interesting to watch as well!
The love story between Ruka, Natsume and Mikan were really cute and I squealed each time there'a little romance between those three!
Honestly, I didn't find Hotaru a "best friend" type at first but HECK, I love her so much now. Some people have things they are good at and some people have things they are bad at and Hotaru is bad at expressing how she feels towards Mikan hence the cold attitude.
Mikan's optimistic cheerful attitude definitely fits Hotaru's cold attitude. I mean, if Hotaru was optimistic and all lovey dovey to Mikan, wouldn't that be too much? So they both fit well =) Plus, it really warms me up to see Mikan and Hotaru's friendship. It is such a beaut that it brings me to tears.
Some characters were annoying and some were lovable but the story is really a nice story of friendship, love and joy. It tells us that as long as you believe in yourself and work hard, everything is possible. It also tells you that life would be easier if you had a friend to guide you along with =)
What a story. It's true there are lots of bullying and cruel tactics but didn't the class act as one whenever something bad happens to one of the students? I love this story a lot. It brings back so many memories that I really wished the story didn't end and continue.
Art was fantastic since I'm an art lover and believe that whatever comes out or drawn, you know that it is drawn from the heart - besides, to complain about the art, does it mean that you can draw better than the person who created the characters itself?
Sounds were great - never knew Natsume's voice was voiced by a female though...=3
Characters - outstanding. Just love Mikan's joy - makes me wonder how she'd cope with everything that happens around her, her personality to try hard each time she fails, to never give up on someone, to help people irregardless of their friendship status really makes me adore Mikan. Hotaru's cold emotionless face yet caring when she shows it basically I just love ALL the characters =D
They are such a joy - Mr Bear as well!! I just love it each time his eyes sparkle - you know he's up for a fight! HIYAH!!
I enjoy Gakuen Alice so so so much and would encourage ALL of you to watch it! It didn't take me long to get hooked onto Gakuen Alice. I watched the first episode and immediately got hooked.
LOVE IT.

Ahh...Sugar Sugar Rune is probably one of the best anime I have ever watched partly because it is such an enjoyable anime.
I love ALL the characters especially Chocolat and not to mention, the ever so sexy Pierre with his sexy chants (Don't you think he sounds so omfg hot whenever he casts his magic spells?) I thought that the animation and artwork was OUTSTANDING. Seriously, in this anime, I noticed they use less chibi art and express more emotions in the characters faces and that's what I love about it.
I LOVED how deep the story is and how Chocolat seems to think more
...
than she acts - making me think that she's a really brave and mature girl who's not afraid to act what she thinks.
The friendship between Chocolat and Vanilla is SO real that it sometimes brings tears to my eyes when I see them fighting. Sometimes, I really do envy their relationship - that's how REAL their friendship is.
As for Pierre - he is my absolute favourite. I loved him. Why isn't there a guy like Pierre? Pierre's dark, deep and mysterious which explains why I love him.
I like watching how his feelings for Chocolat grow - slowly...and eventually so strong that he's willing to....*watch the anime to get it* ^_^
Even though these girls are just 10 year olds, they definitely do not act or think the way a 10 year old think. Makes me wonder why was I playing with Barbie when I was a 10 year old -_-
The characters' sound perfectly fitted the roles of the characters. I love it. The person who played Pierre had a very sexy and deep voice - exactly like how Pierre is.
As for Chocolat - very cute and angry sounding :P As for Vanilla, KAWAII ne!
Let's not forget the supporting characters, the familiars, Duke and Bianca - ONE WORD. FUNNY.
I love how Duke goes kero and Bianca goes chu chu - it's so so cute! Waffle is a great addition to the story as well as she makes the whole story less serious and funny.
Robin is wonderful as well. Cinnamon is very special looking and somewhat attracts me a lot.
Although the anime is WAY different than the manga, I can honestly say that I would prefer the anime because of it's striking colour and fantastic animation. Although I'd prefer people to read the manga to get the REAL story of the battle between the Ogres and the magical world. Very deep - in the manga, less deep in the anime.
Overall, the storyline is good - I mean hell!! What a creative and original storyline if you ask me. The characters - are beautiful and different. Sigh. I just adore Pierre. Do excuse me. :3
I'd recommend EVERYBODY to watch it because I seriously tear up in most of the episodes. You HAVE got to love Chocolat. Love the way she thinks and how strong she is. Makes me admire her a lot.
SUGAR SUGAR RUNE FTW!
