Lesbians 8 ☆
Slo-brain Siscon = zero

Lotta potential , great elements - supernatural , non- related siblings living alone , perviness
Unfortunately the end results are fairly mediocre . Too much is left unexplained for a season 2 that doesn't exist . Ending 2 minutes are just Bad .
Art 6 ☆
The characters were very good , particularly Hiyori , Yukina and Mitsuki .
The background was ... ummm , there was a background , right ? -Forgettable
...
Sound 4 ☆
Theme songs were catchy tunes with little substance .
Character voices were well done , but the 2 male characters were completely annoying . Particularly Yuuya , his whining was "nails on the chalkboard"

This anime may have been made by lesbians that hated men .
All of the female characters were likable . Mmm , maybe not Yukina , she's 2-faced . I felt much sympathy for Mitsuki , a victim of Hiyori and Yuuya .
But the 2 males were atrocious . Torii, Shoutarou was just annoying with every word and action . Fortunately he gets smacked around in , I believe , every scene he appears in.
Yuuya - a simple minded misogynist siscon that believes that since his father married a stranger , her daughter becomes his property . From the first few days of their meeting he grabs and tries to control her actions , her wardrobe [panstu] , even entering her room/bathroom without knocking . Example- he follows her to the bathroom on the pretense of checking on her even tho there are 4-5 females present . He gets slapped frequently too *cheers*
Enjoyment 5 ☆
The lesbian action is the hi-lite of this anime ... both parties getting off repeatedly . The onsen scenes at the end were pretty nice too , but no actual nudity occurs . None anywhere in this anime , don't know where MAL based their ratings from .
I hated Yuuya from beginning to end , Torii too -serious buzzkill

I Really enjoyed the anime so went looking for more . The bad news is the scanlations are 'Ongoing' and incomplete online . But what is out there is near priceless . I found 45 up to chpt 63 .
Story 8 ☆
Slice O Life
The chapters are full of silliness and the spontaneity of Maa , Shi , Rou and their friends - human and neko . I can't get enough of this stuff !
Art 8 ☆
The colour cover art is superb and the content is full of expressions and wackiness .
Characters 10 ☆
I can't say enough about the characters .
...
Maa is my personal favorite , but all of the nekos are so full of life they practically bounce off the page . The humans are quite cute too .
Enjoyment 10 ☆
Maximum good feels are found in this manga . Their are moments of anxiousness and joy , but mostly this is just silliness and hilarity . I'm not normally a big fan of chibi , but this one is worth your time .

Don't really see how this got to be a movie -
Seems more like 4-koma material for children .
Story 4 ☆
Weak , rambling . Maybe they were trying for a dream sequence effect , who knows , who cares ? Fit for gradeschoolers , definitely not teens and above .
Art and animation 8 ☆
The only hi point of the presentation . The vehicles were superb , the other mech seemed pretty mundane . The 'monster' was almost comical . Did anyone else think they looked like ripped-off 'Celestials' from the Suzumiya, Haruhi series ?
Sound 6 ☆
The soundtrack was pleasant , but just

didn't do much for me . The end theme was just lame . Muzik is one of those things ... you like it or you don't .
I didn't care for Takahata, Mitsuki's voice particularly , but it did fit Kokone's character . She would make a great support character , but for 2 hours .... ugh .
Characters 5 ☆
Mundane , stereotypical . Nothing much that stood out except for Kokone's father - I really didn't like him .
Enjoyment 3 ☆
Maybe as an anime with a slower pace and more backstory . The slice-O-life in the beginning was the hilight for me .
I had a lot of trouble finishing this .

Characters 7 ☆
For a relatively short manga there is quite a bit of depth to the 2 main and supporting characters . Tsutomu , the male lead's personality is fairly cliché except for his 'unique' condition (impotency) . He's a college literature student in search of himself .
Ageha , the female lead is "An Older Woman" , a widow and a bubbly flat-chested brunette petite . She rather quickly slays his mental hangup his previous GF couldn't - his ex is one of the crew - LOL
Story 8 ☆
The Story revolves around their blossoming and occasionally rocky relationship . The other support characters help and/or

hinder this new love generally adding to the hilarity . One scene found fellow club member asking for details of their 'regular' sex life only to be jealousy embarrassed by the pornstar level of their activities . The irony is that of the dozen or more of her friends our couple is the only ones getting any ... regular ? *smirx*
Art 12 ☆
Overall exceptional character drawing , but what makes this such a stunner is Ageha's facial expressions during their frequent sex scenes . I have seen none better . This is NOT smut . No nudity below the waist is depicted except for butts .
Overall Enjoyment 9 ☆
I found this hard to put down . A good story , great characters and wonderful art . It had moments of hilarity and sadness . Honestly I nearly stopped reading about 3/4 of the way thru I got so mad . But that's the mark of greatness , to be so moved . "you can only Love what you Hate"
I will be looking into more Amazume, Ryuta work

I'm really disappointed .
As a huge fan of the anime , I came looking for More in the manga only to be let down .
I've watched the anime series at least 4 or 5 times and cannot help comparing .
Characters 3*
Shallowness is key , maybe it gets better . Yui and Ritsu are nearly indistinguishable . My fave Mio has nearly no expression . That fact alone is pretty much death for this manga to me .
Art 2*

K-On has been described as "cut girls doing cute things" . Sadly , this is a big failure here . Marginally better than stick

figures , Mio's expressions are totally missing . To be fair a 4-koma would need all 4 just to 'try' to show one little darting eye expression .
Story 7*
There is one , but as most fans already know , it is not K-On' strength . Story is rarely a Slice o Life composition's strength . I enjoy the 'cute' story , so it gets a slight bump .
Summary - Enjoyment 5*
The muzik was a huge part of the anime and just cannot be represented .
I will likely trudge on at a snail's pace when I'm bored and need some meaningless distractions because it still brings an occasional chuckle and reminds me of the anime I adore

Wait for Season 2 or read the manga.

Very good overall considering content was squished into 13 episodes. Separating characters and story is nothing but spoilers .
Art and Animation 5☆
*deep sigh*
This should have been 9 or 10 , however the very good fight scenes and detailed characters were ruined by 'mannequin nudity' I.E , full frontal breasts are blank even tho moments before perfectly formed nipples were protruding under clothing. So-o-o annoying !!! Just leave them covered. Other reviews here have stated nudity occurs in the manga , so wtf?!

The last 2 episodes introduced more new characters , backstory and more and more questions. It left me wanting to read the manga , except combat just doesn't work with static pictures for me . I usually get a "wtf was that ?" moment. Minus 2☆
