Similarities: Ecchi, fighting, fan service, a clueless airhead protagonist Dissimilarities: Senran Kagura is about SHinobi in the modern-day, Sengoku Otome is about a girl nicknamed Hideyoshi back to the Sengoku period but in an alternate universe where there are no men and most of the daimyo are hella busty women and Oda Nobunaga is actually a good guy in the series. Oh well not completely devoid of the male species, there is a pervy male dog named Shinku who more or less helps Hideyoshi along the way who only talks to Hideyoshi and can only be understood by Hideyoshi which sometimes make people around here think she has a few screws loose so.....ya.
