I cannot for the life of me comprehend why this manga is touted as the pinnacle of the genre. It's an overhyped disaster that undeservedly basks in high ratings. If you're on a quest for a manga that truly rattles your bones, sends shivers down your spine and simultaneously weaves a story that is breathtakingly heart-wrenching and mind-bogglingly twisted, then 'Blood on the Tracks' is the one you should be setting your eyes on.
Let's talk characters, shall we? They're an absolute drag. As bland and uninteresting as they come. They're sad and edgy and depressed for the sake of being like that, artificially, with no

motive. And that bird? Lame.
The art? Lame. As for the plot, oh don't get me started. It's the absolute epitome of lameness. The lamest of the lame and the end is pathetic.
All in all, you could wrap this manga in the finest silk, and it would still be utterly, hopelessly lame. It's a woeful disappointment in every sense of the word.
Why am I condemning it with such fervor? Simple. This manga is a textbook example of what you'd get if an edgy teenager, with a misguided sense of what's cool and a poorly concealed lack of experience, decided to try their hand at crafting a manga.
Characters? Lame.
Art? Lame.
Plot? Lame.
Lame.
